Carlos took our vision and created a patio, landscape and lighting design beyond our expectations, all within our budget. The entire Montano’s team was professional, experts in their workmanship, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. At the end of each work day, the site was left clean and orderly. Everyone that sees our patio and landscaping comments on how beautiful it is. An outdoor space like this has been a dream of ours for years and Carlos made this dream come true! I would work with Carlos and his team again in a heartbeat. So often companies under-deliver but Carlos’ team went above and beyond and exceeded expectations. We considered 3 different companies in the West Chicago area but ultimately Carlos’ sense of design, responsiveness, and quality work within budget motivated us to go with Montano Landscaping. Our patio area was functional before but it was our dream house project to rip it up and create an oasis. We had a general idea what we wanted but Carlos was able to think of all the details we hadn’t considered. He was so patient creating views and proposals for different patio options. Thanks to Montano Landscaping for building the patio of our dreams!! We love it!

Carlos is an amazing person to work with. All I knew was that I wanted a fire pit put in my back yard. Carlos came up with this unique idea with flagstone, moss and blue boulders to go around the pit. It sounded beautiful. The finished project is more gorgeous then I pictured in my mind. Carlos is and his crew are wonderful people to work with.

We asked Carlos to come out to our house to prepare a landscape plan because my wife and I had no idea of how to make things look right. Carlos talked with my wife, took the measurements and said he would come up with a plan. About a week or so later, Carlos came back and blew us away with his ideas. He walked us through the entire plan on his iPad and described each and every plant he planned to use. The plan was perfect for our property. We were a bit shocked on the price, but Carlos was willing to modify the plan to fit our budget.

About 2 weeks later Carlos and his team showed up and attacked our pretty wild front yard. The entire crew was so friendly and helpful. They got the entire project done in one day. Carlos was there for a good part of the day to make sure the job was going well and to handle any issues that arose. Whenever my wife came up with an idea or suggestion, Carlos took the time to work it into the design plan if at all possible.

We couldn't be happier with the finished project. The front yard is even better than we could have imagined. In the end, the final project came in on time, on budget and exceeded our expectations. What more could you want from a landscape design firm?

Carlos was exceptional to work with. He was thorough and patient through our indecisiveness. Even half way through the project we wanted to expand from our original footprint and he said no problem. The best part was the finished product, in a relatively small area with a small budget Carlos and Montano's Landscaping were able to deliver a patio on the front of our house that far exceeded our hopes and expectations. Montano landscaping originally told us it was going to be about a 6 week wait before he would be able to start the project but he was able to cut that in half and then finish the project 1 full day ahead of schedule. I have used Montano's Landscaping for almost 10 years and have been very happy with the results of my new landscaping and paver patio. Carlos showed me his design suggestions and with a few adjustments, my old ugly patio and landscaping turned into one that I can enjoy and the neighbors have admired. My previous front and back patios were in disrepair. I hired Montano's Landscaping to take the old pavers out and create a new outdoor living space for both spaces. Needless to say, he and his amazing team did an amazing job. Here's the thing, he won't be the cheapest quote in town, but the fact that he uses quality products, only takes on one job at a time, is highly communicative, responds quickly, and shows up on the job, personally, to inspect the completed work, is worth paying a little bit more. It was refreshing to work with someone who actually did what they said they were going to do, right from the start!
My front patio is now a show stopper. I have received countless compliments from passing neighbors, and my back patio is simply a dream come true. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Montano's Landscaping for my further needs.

He presented a detailed proposal and drawing that helped me visualize his ideas. I was on the schedule and the job was complete within a couple of weeks of paying the deposit. His team did very good work, were always happy to answer questions, and did a great job cleaning up every day. We recently purchased our home in Naperville and the landscaping needed updating. We had significant issues with overgrown vegetation and dead trees. Carlos responded to my inquiry immediately and we set up an appointment to go over our plans. Carlos told me his crew would be able to start the project in two weeks and it would take them 2-3 days to complete what we discussed. His crew was at our house when he said they would be and they completed everything within the time frame he set. We could not be happier with our new landscaping. His crew was fantastic to work with and they went above and beyond what we asked of them. We still have a few areas we want to finish down the road and we plan use Montano's again for this work. We met Montano’s Landscaping back in 2015 at the recommendation of our builder in Naperville. From the beginning Carlos has been great to work with…honest and straightforward, he told us exactly what he would do and was up front with how much it would cost. We had Montano’s put in a custom flagstone patio in our back yard around the pool which came out fantastic. Carlos is great to work with and his crew is extremely professional. We continue to use Montano’s to this day and have recommended him to many friends.

Carlos and his team have now transformed the landscaping and hard scape on two of our properties. He has installed for us outdoor kitchens, paver patios, beautiful outdoor lighting, bonfire pits, gas fire pits, outdoor speakers, fire bowls, a water fall and worked with a pool company to ensure a seamless renovation for our current backyard. They are honest in their work and time line and really strive for customer satisfaction. He was always open to any idea we threw at him and found a way to make it happen. Carlos and his team were fantastic to work with. He came up with a beautiful plan for our backyard. He listened to what we wanted, took our ideas into consideration, and developed a phenomenal landscaping plan to really elevate our backyard. Also, when we had trouble with one of the plans he came back to review and made changes with no additional cost. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, and reasonable. Montano’s Landscaping has just wrapped up a project to replace our patio. We are very happy with the final result. It’s beautiful! It came out better than we had imagined. The crew did a wonderful job. They worked hard and they were careful with everything else on our property and they cleaned up after themselves every day. This is our 3rd job with Carlos and his crew. The first was in 2010 in the front yard and it still looks great today. We won’t hesitate to use them again when we need another landscaping project.
