I have worked with Tony and Davey Tree at my previous home and with HOA. They are always prompt and professional. And work is always excellent! They do what’s right for the homeowner and the trees. Highly recommend them for your care of trees.

The team at Davey Tree Expert Company did an excellent job of trimming three trees on our property as well as removing a fourth tree. I highly recommend them.

    Professional, Insured, Expert Arborist, Safe!

I had a consultation with Schae today and excellent is an understatement. I have spoken and receive quotes from 16 other local tree trimming businesses this week and they don’t even measure close. Schae knew, in detail, the needs of each tree, educated me on what they needed, and gave me a true honest opinion of priority services. Davey also is fully insured, something many the companies I spoke with were not (didn’t have workers comp or did not have tree-care specific insurance). They also CARE about the health of your tree, they don’t use climbing spikes that could damage your tree and warranty new trees they plant. I am so impressed and thankful that I found this company!

A well deserved 5 star review. Tony and his crew (Antonio, Clint, and Montrel) did great with clearing our overgrown hill, tree removal, and planting our new trees. They were also professional and respectful. We will absolutely be using this company and reaching out to Tony again in the near future. Thank you guys!

Experienced and very knowledgeable arborist and good team to do work. I have a number of services coming up, so far I have had some trees removed and they did a great job.

The service was A+: Montrell and his team did a wonderful job of trimming on a less than perfect day...6 inches of new snow and 20⁰ temps.

Communication: D: After waiting several weeks, the office never told me that the crew was coming. They just showed up at 8 am on Monday morning. Also, the crew had not been told that the job had changed, eliminating the removal of 2 branches.

We had a great experience with Davey Tree. They were efficient, respectful and did a great job trimming our tree as well as cleaning up all debris in our yard as well as our neighbors.

I spoke to a number of tree removal/trimming vendors and was not impressed by their lack of professionalism or experience or inability to produce a written quotation for the work. Tony Brugler at Davey Tree provided a written proposal up front that was detailed and described the work to be performed. The crew was there several days at the appointed time and simply did a great job removing multiple oak trees and pruning other trees and evergreens. I do not think I could have found another vendor as good as the service provided by Davey Tree and would highly recommend them as a professional tree service provider. No surprises and no hesitation to fully answer any questions. Simply just a great experience which seems to be a rarity these days.

Totally satisfied with Davey Tree experts! Schea was very knowledgeable when talking us through the work he proposed. We had major tree trimming and 2 tree removals done. The "after" picture is remarkable. Davey's quote was reasonable compared to other quotes we received for the same work. I highly recommend Davey Tree Experts.

Well, about one year ago I invested thousands of dollars in a project to have this company do a “grout replacement” job on about 1000 SF of 2x4’ fake marble tiles. They didn’t dig out anywhere near enough grout, what they “replaced” was surface depth of no more than 1/16” in many places, which summarily rejected the floor and fell out in high traffic areas within days. After two visits to touch up areas, they asked me to wait until after the Christmas holiday as it would be a heavy traffic event. I’m not foolish, I didn’t expect this job to be as good as replacing the floor, and I hoped to extend the life by 5 years before I would have to replace it, but I didn’t even get 5 months. It looks terrible, and I never did get contacted by them about the final follow up post holidays.

August 2025 update: The company sent its most senior technician out to restore all areas of the floor that were unsatisfactory upon completion of the initial job. Assuming the newly completed work stays in place, I would re-rate my experience as reflected. Ownership was apologetic that it took as long as it did to be completed correctly. The communication issue mentioned ended up being a misunderstanding about who was responsible for reaching out.

We hired Grout Medic to remove mold/clean grout in 3 bathrooms and floors. They also recaulked the bathrooms and our kitchen sink. Mike D. was courteous and efficient. They did a great job! Would not hesitate to use them again!

My kitchen, bathroom and laundry room tile looks new again! We were selling our home and wanted it to show it's best. The investment really paid off. Mike was very thorough and professional.

Zach did an outstanding job! He repaired and refreshed the grout, recaulked the shower glass and door, and replaced the door sweep. Everything looks brand new, and he even shared helpful maintenance tips. He was professional, efficient, and left the workspace spotless. We’re very happy with the results and highly recommend his services!

The grout medic couldn't be more disappointing with their service. Joe was a terrible salesman and will not honor the proposal that was laid out. The proposal had the following written down:

"remove existing caulk and loose crack grout in seams as necessary".

Their job was to remove old existing caulk and lay down new caulk. When the technician arrived, he said that none of the old caulk would be removed prior to the new caulk being applied. He was simply going to caulk over existing material. I immediately postponed the project and contacted the project rep (Joe) for clarity.

I've had caulk jobs completed in my old house in the past; never once did they suggest that this was acceptable practice. Old material has to be removed prior to laying down new silicone. For a company that specializes in these types of projects, I was shocked that Joe was vouching for the technician. He was unprofessional, became agitated, and made it sound like it was my fault that I was adhering to the proposal that he laid out. When I called this out, he decided to cancel the agreement. Do NOT do any caulk jobs at this company. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who wants a job done right.

    EDIT (11.30.25)
Since Joe (or whoever else) is choosing to incorrectly describe a situation they were not there for, I'll reiterate the following:

-Pete, the technician who was present, HAD ABSOLUTELY NO INTENTION OF REMOVING ANY EXISTING CAULK. HE SHOWED ME EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO WHEN HE APPLIED THE NEW CAULK DIRECTLY ON THE OLD CAULK. I EVEN SAID THE FOLLOWING BEFORE STARTING: "MY DAUGHTER IS SLEEPING RIGHT NOW, BUT YOU CAN START UPSTAIRS FIRST, SHE PROBABLY WON'T WAKE UP", TO WHICH HE REPLIED "OH DON'T WORRY, THIS WON'T TAKE TOO LONG. I WON'T BE MAKING MUCH NOISE AT ALL, IT'LL BE OVER PRETTY QUICK". I've removed caulk in the past, and it is not a quiet job. It takes elbow grease and effort to remove old caulk (hence why I made these statements about my daughter sleeping in a room across the bathroom).

-The color caulk statement is completely inaccurate, as I told them multiple days in advance that I wanted mapei avalanche to be the color (see attached e-mail). There was nothing to discuss on the day of the job as it relates to the color. There was nothing to sample, as everything had been picked already.

-I asked the technician point blank: "ARE YOU NOT GOING TO REMOVE THE OLD CAULK?" He replied with "NO I AM NOT. WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO THEN?" I followed up with the statement "LET'S HOLD OFF FOR NOW UNTIL I CONTACT JOE ABOUT THIS, BECAUSE THE CONTRACT SAYS SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAN WHAT YOU'RE DESCRIBING." They are trying to make it sound like I wanted to waste MY time and their time the day after thanksgiving. Trust me when I say this, I've never had to ask a contractor to leave my house for a job prior to this. I don't gain anything by "lying". I don't gain anything by them not finishing the project. I shifted my entire schedule to make this happen. I was extremely disappointed they did not honor their agreement, as this pushes the project timeline back even further.

-Since we're talking about inconsistencies, here is another one: the technician mentioned that the weep holes in the first floor shower SHOULD NOT BE CAULKED. Joe, the rep, said the COMPLETE OPPOSITE when he came by for the original estimate. The tech looked at me flabbergasted by these statements that Joe made. Again, this is another example where they weren't even on the same page at all. Even now, I don't know who is correct on this matter. They talk about "being in alignment with NTCA practices", yet they aren't even in alignment on this particular issue.

I am laying down the facts and have the evidence to support my statements. This isn't hearsay.

    EDIT 12.3.25:
There is nothing in this situation to "see differently". These are facts that cannot be argued. These aren't opinions. The best thing to do would have been to acknowledge the inconsistencies and make remedies, not stand by them.

I had The Grout Medic expert at my house on 3 different occasions for work on 3 bathrooms and an entryway. The work was superb, and I’ve received many compliments. The technician was very knowledgable and personable, and he instructed me on maintaining my tile. I highly recommend them!

I couldn’t be more pleased with the two bathrooms The Grout Medic cleaned. They looked better than new. The tech who worked for us was great, left everything in perfect condition. I highly recommend the Medic’s services. A great company to do business with.
