Electrical reviews in Niles, Illinois

HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOVAN AND JTP ELECTRIC! Our realtor recommended Jovan and JTP Electric to us to handle a number of electrical and home intercom system issues and boy were we impressed! He came to our home on time, wore booties and was so knowledgeable about every topic we covered along with patiently answering all of our questions, He researched various under cabinet lighting options for us and was able to handle every issue on our list including our home intercom system and exterior door bell. Thank you, Jovan and team for a job well done!

Jovan did a great job installing two bedroom ceiling fans and two kitchen light fixtures for us. We would definitely use his company again.

Jovan inspected my circuit breaker box and made suggestions about replacing it. He also checked the voltage of my two wall ACs to see if they were working properly. He was very courteous and professional. If I ever need any type of electrical work done in my home, I’ll be sure to call Jovan.

Update:
Jovan recently upgraded my basement lighting. The new LED lights look great and provide plenty of light for the dark space. He provided a competitive quote and was able to schedule work and complete work in a very reasonable time frame. Definitely recommend!

Jovan repaired a bathroom switch. He was flexible around our schedule. Will use the company for future services!

I needed to have drop ceilings removed from my kitchen and bathrooms and the lighting replaced! I turned to JTP Electric because of the great online reviews. Jovan and his brothers did not disappoint. This work was done a few months ago, but I still feel happy whenever I enter my house. The difference is outstanding! Excellent workmanship, integrity, and reasonable prices: ingredients for a happy, loyal customer. A small part had to be ordered online. Jovan followed up with me even though I kept postponing. He did not give up until that part was finally installed, quickly and in the same excellent manner. Jovan, keep up the good work! You are my electrician, and I will recommend your services to friends and family!

We had a great experience with Jovan and his team. He installed several fixtures, ceiling fans and installed lighting where there was none previously. He also gave great advice about some other projects we are considering. He and his team worked quickly and cleanly and we were very happy with the results. Everything looks and works great!

Updated to add that Jovan came back to fix a problem we were having with a light. He worked quickly and we haven't had any problems since!

Jovan was once again incredible. He came over late on a Monday to fix an electrical issue to make sure we passed our inspection. He was quick and efficient. We will continue to recommend him!

Jovan came over on short notice and on a Sunday to help repair my Somfy automatic blinds. He was responsive, on time, efficient and has good knowledge about different Somfy systems. I would definitely recommend JTP if you need help with repairing existing or installing new Somfy blinds

Jovan replaced the light and fan switches on my kitchen range hood. He was polite and pleasant on the phone and in person. He arrived on time, with the replacement parts, and explained to me exactly what he was doing and why. He showed me what the problem was and how he fixed it. I would certainly recommend his services to anyone, and I will call him again when I need electrical repairs.

I found Jovan on-line, searching for a Professional, who could do two small wiring projects. Jovan did a GREAT job, for a reasonable price. Very happy! Highly recommend! Will be using him again, for sure!

Jovan did a fantastic job with my Tesla charger (Wall Connector) installation. He upgraded my electrical panel as well. He is polite, fair, and kind. Highly recommend you do your Tesla charger installation with Jovan!

I have nothing but high praise for the service I received. Jovan is friendly and responsive and the quality of his work is fantastic. We had over a dozen LED recessed lights installed in our basement, and the results are great! He installed separate dimmers to allow for separate lighting in different areas, anticipating our needs. He quickly provided his opinion on how best to give us what we wanted and we are pleased with the results. He also worked cleanly, leaving us very little to do once he had completed the job. I will not hesitate to contact Jovan again for any future electrical work!

JTP Electric is great! Jovan is super knowledgeable, responsive, and works quickly. He helped us two separate times with one-off electrical issues in our house, including installing a chandelier, repairing the connection to our smart doorbell, installing/upgrading several light switches in our house, and helping me with an older ceiling fan. He communicates via text too, which is super convenient, and his prices are very fair. I would recommend him to anyone!

Jovan is a fantastic electrician! He's courteous, efficient, arrives on time, does impeccable work and holds himself to high standards, thoroughly explains the problem at hand and his solutions, and gives good recommendations. He replaced an old three-way switch for us and checked out a ceiling fan that was problematic, and he ended up replacing it with another light fixture for us right then and there. It all went smoothly and fairly quickly, and the price was reasonable, especially in exchange for the relief we felt afterward with all of that fixed. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone and hire him again. Thank you, Jovan!

We had a very long chandelier (20ft) to install in a very challenging location that spanned 3 stories in between our main staircase. JTP did a great job installing the chandelier, and were timely professional and very clean and careful. We highly recommend JTP.

JTP electric provided excellent service. He was punctual, friendly and met all expectations.

JTP did an excellent job updating my electrical needs with a new circuit breaker panel. From beginning to end , they did the work in an extremely efficient , clean and professional manner . I would recommend them to anyone needing any kind of electrical work done the right way!!

JTP Electric provided over the phone tech support in the form of an outline of the approval process which gave direction of contacting the right people to resolve the issue.

Over the weekend we experienced an electrical emergency where our cable connection melted from power surges. Our lights were dimming and flickering too. We called JTP Electric Monday morning and Jovan was here the same day. He was able to troubleshoot our system to find that the electrical panel/circuit breaker needed to be replaced and found other issues that needed upgrading. Jovan was able to accommodate this repair as we only had partial electrical service and shifted his schedule for this. After a full day of repair our electricity was restored! Needless to say we are extremely grateful!
We highly recommend JTP Electric and his team! If you are looking for an electrician this is the company you want. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous and prompt!

The lighting inside my lovely cabinet needed repair and I needed some hard wired smoke detectors installed. Two small but important jobs. I was referred to JTP and am so happy with his work. He is so capable, quick and friendly.

Jovan is probably one of the best contractors I've ever dealt with. Extremely reliable and his quality of work is exceptional. His pricing is also very competitive. I would not hesitate to use him on any future electrical project. I highly recommend JTP Electric.
