We called Bill's Plumbing & Sewer Inc. because we were advised to replace the shutoff valves for our new washing machine. James S. did the replacement. He was professional and efficient. He took the time to answer our myriad questions patiently. He also cleaned our sink drain and repaired our running toilet which were not on the original work order. He was wonderful!

I had a major clog in the pipes from my kitchen sink. Victor was very professional during the process of cleaning out the pipes. After finishing, he cleaned the entire area he was working in. I would highly recommend Bill's Plumbing!

This is my second review of Bills plumbing. James came out for a preliminary inspection the day before I was to have a new waterline put in. I ended up hiring him to do a full rodding from my backyard to the street. His work was outstanding. He explained everything to me before he did the work and quoted me the price. He was extremely professional, and polite. If I could I would give James 10 stars.

The Village of Skokie hired Bills plumbing to put in the new waterline. It was a very difficult job that they did the work masterfully. I give them 10 stars as well. I will definitely use this company again. I highly recommend them

Bills Plumbing is a high quality business and performed excellent service when fixing two leaking copper pipes, installing a new kitchen faucet, and installing a new 40 gallon hot water tank. Jim and crew were exceptional. I highly recommend Bills Plumbing.

Bills Plumbing was a referral from a neighbor. They showed up on time, knew what they were doing and fixed the problem; not an easy task, it involved some excavation. I would recommend Bills service to anyone.

We had a variety of small issues that needed attention, some long term that finally got fixed. Kurt O was out to our house on time and fixed everything that need. He was wonderful to work with, very low key, nothing seemed to be a big deal. Great experience, Great Service. Very knowledgeable. Very Pleased.

We used Bill's plumbing for the first time because the village recommended them to us as they are local and had experiences in doing lead service line replacement dozen of times. The entire process from day one was extremely unprofessional, non responsive, delay, rude and frustrating. After they took our deposit, it took one week for them to send me PDF to sign for the permits, took another 2 more weeks for them to complete the permits and send to the village. I had to call multiple times asking for updates and they keep telling me they are waiting for the village until I call the village and they said they receive nothing from Bill plumbing. Until I caught them lying multiple times, they finally proceed to send the permit. The permits took one day to approve from the city and then Bill plumbing went MIA for another 3 weeks on me with no contacts/text/email. I had to consistently keep calling them and the village for any sort of updates other wise this entire project would have delay for another 1-2 months. Only reason I gave this two stars was because the employees/contractor that came to do the work on the appointed day was professional, nice, and quick at their work (where the services actually counted), otherwise this would stay at 1 star. Only time I finally got a called was what day the services/job was done. Even the contractors I talk to said this shouldn't had taken this long to get schedule.

If you want this service done in a timely matter, I would not recommend them; however, if you don't mind the delay, they will get the job done.

Appointment was scheduled for a sewer back up. Received notification when they were on the way, which was extremely helpful. Tech (James) was very patient and not only thoroughly explained what he was going to do but, more importantly, what the outcome was. I was pleased with the service!

I have also used Bill's for AC repair and Furnace service at the beginning of the heating season. I purchased a service contract because I have been so impressed with EVERY service person that I have worked with, Shawn, John O and today Andrew M. Everyone of these great men was knowledgeable, polite, informative, patient and at my house exactly when they said they would be here! The wonderful people in the office are also INCREDIBLE! Kelly and Kim and Amanda have all been so helpful and responsive and empathetic! I highly recommend this great company!

Service was immediate, honest, and reasonable. Our technician John immediately knew the problem, fixed it, was patient in explaining and our AC is back up running !

Bill’s reviewed the area of concern, then explained the work to be done. Different from what I thought was going on. Very courteous, cleaned up as needed, job done quickly and professionally. Glad taken care of sooner rather than later. Later would have been an emergency and a big headache.

James was out today and was very good at explaining what he was doing and also was very thorough in his work. Cleaned up before he left and went over all the steps he performed to clear my drain. Not the first time we have used Bill's Plumbing and won't be the last.

We used Bill's for the 1st time on the recommendation of a neighbor. They did a lead service line replacement for us. When we had 3 estimates done, we liked them the best and their price seemed fair. They really did a great job and coordinated well with our town's water department. The only issue we had was a lack of communication from Bill's the week of, the day before, and the day of the work. We had to call them to find out the date they were coming. Then they arrived 3 hours earlier than they told us so we had to rush to get ready. They didn't explain the work they were doing inside our house (new water meter, etc.). Even with these issue, we would certainly recommend them.

Jimmy & his crew arrived within 30 minutes of our call. They put cloth down on our floors when they brought in their equipment. They explained the problem & cleaned out our sewer. They were efficient in their working. When they were done, they explained what we could do for the future to try & be pro active. They cleaned up our floors & anything else that had some dirty water splashed on it. They were very congenial & their price was reasonable. We will definitely call them again for our plumbing needs.

John arrived promptly on the coldest day of the year and repaired my OUTDOOR FURNACE immediately. A major relief as a new unit costs about $10k.

I’ve been using Bill’s Plumbing for my business for the past 15+ years. I have always been completely satisfied with their work. Every tech has been very polite and communicative. They do fantastic work and do not leave the job until the problem is solved. Just this week, I had a plumbing emergency at the business. Bill’s Plumbing was able to get 2 techs out to my location within 30 minutes of my call. I was blown away at their speed and ability to fix the problem less than 60 minutes after the origination of the issue. They saved the day!

Bill’s Plumbing never disappoints. We’ve used them for several jobs - construction, plumbing issues, HVAC - and they’re always responsive, expert, professional, and personable. Today’s ugly plumbing problem was dealt with promptly by Victor C, who has helped us in the past. He is knowledgeable, efficient, always cheerful, and he represents the company well.
