We used The Maids for a move in clean at our new home and we are happy with their services! We had to change our date for the cleaning and they were able to accommodate it, which we were very thankful for! We plan to keep using their services to keep our house looking great!

Hi! I have used the Maids twice now, both times a general clean was accomplished but for the price I paid I was not satisfied with the results. I paid $476 for a living room, kitchen, dining room and 3 bathrooms. Attached are the photos of the toilets after the clean. There were milk stains (I have a 2 year old) still fried on my hardwood floor in the kitchen as well. Like I said - the house is definitely cleanER - but for the price I shouldn’t have seen anything left uncleaned.

This service advertises deep cleaning- they should not! Not only did I not receive a deep cleaning, their management was awful! I spoke with management about my dissatisfaction- I had to wait over the weekend until they were back in- and all they would do is offer another cleaning. First of all- why would I want another deep cleaning service from a team that could not do this service, that’s doesn’t make sense. Second of all, I had to wait for the service and it was timed before a furniture delivery. My daughter (a young teen) and I spent hours cleaning and actually DID the job ourselves that I had paid these 4 “professional cleaners” to do that weekend so the space would be ready for the furniture! A free cleaning was not an appropriate or desirable remedy!! The cleaners filled their bucket 1TIME with water and pushed the mop around for an hour!! That is not deep cleaning!! See the foot prints in my pics! That is not even a superficial clean!! I filed a claim with my bank since they were unwilling to refund, Melanie told me I would need to do that. I told their awful manager Melanie to take my card of file, she finally said she would and then hung up on me! All she kept saying was “her girls needed to be paid”! I am more than happy to pay for a service that does a great job— this was not it. She did not care AT ALL about the service not being done, and was beyond rude! Their owner, I believe his name is Scott, wrote me on yelp apologizing for not removing paint— I wrote back and questioned if he looked at the images!!!- this was not about paint removal (another lie Melanie told me these cleaners would be able to do) this was about a service that was not rendered!!! And if I had to clean the space myself because of fraudulent advertising— then why would a free clean be the only remedy!! This company is awful, my experience was HORRIBLE!!!! Then to top it off, they filed a claim reversal, and even though my bank agreed with me and apologized there was nothing they could do because they offered the free cleaning! It was absolutely ridiculous that this company has done this. I am sharing here and with all business owners I know that use this service!!! I hope I can spare someone else the headache and stress I have had dealing with Melanie and this “cleaning service”!! I’m also sharing images that demonstrate without a doubt that a deep cleaning service is not something this company or their cleaners can provide- it is not even by anyone’s standards a regular clean!! This company The Maids In Oaklawn will steal your money and do not care that they did not do the work- it’s all about time for them (they get paid by the hour not the quality) and it’s a scam!!! Find another service and save yourself months of headaches with these scammers!!

Lorena and her staff have been with me for a number of years. I cannot express highly enough how she is valued. She is truly an example of dedication to her profession.

We have tried many different services over the years but The Maids are the best overall.

They come with a team of 4-6 cleaners and are very detailed and get the job done quickly since they have some many cleaners on the team. The Price is also very competitive.

I am extremely happy with the thorough job that The Maids did in giving my house a deep cleaning. I’m usually pretty fussy about details and I had no complaints. I especially appreciated that when they were finished, I was asked to go through and make sure that everything was done to my satisfaction and if anything needed a touchup they would take care of it. I don’t use any service on a regular basis, just a deep clean a few times a year. I would definitely use them again.

The Maids of Oak Lawn have been cleaning my home for over 19 years! I can’t believe it’s been that long! Time Flies! Lol!! I LOVE THEM!!! They are Prompt, Efficient, Trustworthy, And They Do a Thorough Job! They (Melanie/Ellen) work with my schedule, and are willing to make adjustments when I need them to. They (The Cleaning Team(s) do an Awesome Job of Cleaning even the Small Stuff like my mirrored light switches and remotes, and the Big Stuff too, like my marble and hardwood floors, large mirrors, and glass table tops. I Look Forward to Returning Home on Cleaning Day- and I am never disappointed! I am Smiling as I go from room to room Checking their work!
