Great selection of beautifully decorated Christmas wreaths, cut greenery, predone planters, Holiday decor. Prices are higher than last year, but fair for the quality. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I felt impelled to leave this review after just leaving the establishment. I am not one to write terrible reviews but this one is worth writing. When the other reviews mention terrible customer service... believe them! I live in Oak Lawn. I try my hardest to support local businesses. I come to this garden center every fall but the customer service is bearable yet lacking. This particular time, I came with my 2 boys. I had been doing yard work and dropped in really quickly to get some topsoil. I wasn't dressed to go to a ball...I was dressed to do yardwork. The moment I walked in, I got the looks and then came the snickering from the 2 young immature girls (because those are not young ladies) that stood behind the cash terminals. I paid for my items which needed to be put in my vehicle and requested to see the manager on duty.

Katie the manager... not a far cry from the 2 bodies they employed. I explained how I felt, expressed that I have no proof that their behavior was entirely directed toward me (while making it clear I was the only one at the front end at that time), but that as a loyal customer I felt extremely uncomfortable. I am a black woman with black children. In this racial climate we live in, the professional business gives NO ONE reason to feel uncomfortable. Not for the color of their skin, the way they are dressed, the depth of their pocket. This Katie, proceeds to cover over the unacceptable behavior of her employees by saying that she can't say that they were snickering about me, and whilst that might be true, a simple "I understand how that might make you feel and I'm sorry for this interaction" would have sufficed. I didn't ask for anyone to be on the chopping block, I simply expressed that as a customer, their behavior can send the wrong message to customers. That fell on deaf unreasonable ears.

There are very few stand up businesses out here these days and clearly this is not one of them. It's just a pity that they have a great selection of items. Thanks to the gentleman whom was pleasant and kind enough to assist me with a smile.

Just visited Fasel & Sons Garden Center in Oak Lawn over the weekend—and honestly, I’m so glad I stopped by. The place has such a welcoming vibe, and you can tell it's a family-run business with a long history.

The first thing that caught my eye was how vibrant everything looked. Rows and rows of flowers, plants, and hanging baskets—all super healthy and well taken care of. I picked up some petunias and a couple of herbs for my little balcony garden, and they’re thriving already.

What really made the experience great, though, was the staff. One of the guys there helped me figure out which plants would do best with the amount of sunlight I get at home. He didn’t rush me or try to upsell anything—just super helpful and easygoing.

They also have some fun garden decor and even sports-themed stuff if you’re into that kind of thing. I wasn’t planning to buy anything decorative, but I walked out with a cute little garden gnome. Couldn’t resist.

All in all, a solid spot. Whether you’re a gardening pro or just starting out, Fasel & Sons makes it easy to find what you need—and makes you feel good while doing it. I’ll definitely be back.

Had someone come to my house and showed him what we were looking for, rock removing and pavers and sod put in its place. Blew me off when I was told he would be back with the quote, not once, but twice. Horrible, don't waste your time.

What an amazing company! The owner Tony was there from start to finish.

I highly recommend Route 81 Landscaping! Brian was so helpful in giving us an estimate with several options for our yard. The whole crew was so nice. I could have never imagined our front yard looking so nice. They transformed the appearance of our home.

Brian and his father did a great job on our home landscaping. Our landscape was 24 years old and had old bushes and two large crab trees that needed to be removed and replaced. My wife worked out the contract with Brian and agreed to the price. His crew removed everything including the landscape rock in one day and added black dirt, replanted all bushes, flowers and trees along with new landscape rock on the second day. In the process of removal and replacement they dismantled our landscape walls, rebuilt them and power washed them.

Excellent job of installing new sod. On time, professional and put in quality work all for a great price.

Marval Landscaping was organize, efficient, and neat. Worked on my yard like it's their own property. Juan communicates effectively and prioritize customer satisfaction. I highly recommend them! Thank you!
