Electrical service line had pulled away from our house. We were referred to Jeff at Oak Electric. Called him and left a message. He called us back in 10 minutes. Discussed our issue and he showed up early next morning with his team. They were very professional and fixed the service line plus repaired siding that had come loose were lines were attached to the house. Jeff and his team did an excellent job and are highly recommended to anyone.

Jeff and his team at Oak has been working on various projects at our house now for a week. They come when they say, call when they can't come, always prompt, always nice. Jeff does not cut any corners when it comes to safety, getting permits etc. All the guys really know their stuff. They consult and discuss what we want and advise what will work and what won't. I can't say enough about Oak Electric. They are OUR electricians. The best.

We recently got a quote from Jeff for electrical work and the experience was great! He was very professional and showed up exactly when he said he would. He was honest about what work we needed and gave us fair prices. Oak Electric was the 3rd electrician we tried to have come out in the Oak Park area and the others either weren't responsive or didn't show up when they said they would. Definitely recommend Oak Electric!

Oak Electric is outstanding! I could not have had a better experience/outcome. We had an issue with some of our lights dimming and not working that started over the weekend. I called Oak Electric on Monday morning. Jeff (the owner) answered the phone and set up a time to look at the issue that morning. He quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem. He needed specialized parts which he obtained and the problem was resolved by the early afternoon! I could not be happier with the service and the outcome. Jeff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Most highly recommended!!!

great communication and honest

These guys are amazing! We moved into 99-year old house and had no idea what the wiring was like. I removed a fixture to put in a new ceiling fan and had no idea what I was looking at, but I did know that it crumbled in my fingers. It turned out to be cloth wiring so we called these guys and could not be happier with the work they did. They were beyond respectful of our space, were creative with their solutions for replacing the wiring to minimize cutting into walls, were on time and dependable every day, were friendly, and were extremely competent. It's a family-run business and it really felt like it was their home they were working on when they were here. I highly recommend them to anyone needing anything electrical done in your home.

These guys are the best and know what they are doing with older homes. The are dependable, and reliable and I would use them for any electrical need. Our 90 year old home could not have a fan in our son's bedroom without shorting the whole house. We had the whole house rewired and they even were able to put up sconces that originated with the house. Thanks

I called after tripping the breaker to my fridge and going to the basement to find a mislabeled mess of a panel from the 1940s. Panic!
A M & L’s receptionist was very helpful and friendly. She put an electrician on the line who walked me through resetting the breaker free of charge. A M & L saved me the expenses of a house call and a fridge full of food. Figured I could at least post a good review in return. Thanks!
