Great work removing stumps - area left filled and flat. They had a reschedule because of equipment breakdown but you gotta expect that - grinding stumps is hard on equipment. My job was small and they were in and out in 2 hours. For small jobs, predicting when the work will be done is hard, but it would have been helpful to have a +/- 3 day window. Would definitely use Roots again.

Rudi and his crew are the best. Got 6 quotes on removing 2 trees from backyard. Roots was the only one that didnt need me to remove half my fence to get big truck in. Rudi scaled the tree like a spider monkey and started dropping branches with precision avoiding power lines, fence, and the pool. Both 60 ft pines were down in a few hours. Came back the next day and ground all the stumps. Like there were never trees there. Great professionalism and grace.

Very professional group of tree cutters. They came to our house introduce themselves. They knew exactly which trees to cut down. They started off with a bigger tree in the backyard and then went to the front tree that needed to get removed. They left our yards in good condition. They came with a large truck and put all the limbs of the tree and tree trunk. Then they swept yard of any debris. I highly, highly recommending your service! Very professional.

Excellent Service!!! Recently after snow storm on January 25 2026 in Mascoutah a Root Service person removed snow from my Driveway entrance…and get this…FOR FREE!!! I was Over-The-Moon that this company/person would help me a Senior Citizen and not Charge me. Did a good job removing 3 stumps from my daughter’s yard. Was not happy with their notifications about when they would be at her house. They had to quit in the middle of the job because of rain and did not notify us if or when they would return to finish.

An excellent experience with using the company Roots. From the bidding process, they were willing to take on a smaller project that was difficult to get to because my backyard is fenced in by my neighbors. After accepting the bid they were out within one week and had the tree removed to my specifications. Then within two weeks, the stump was removed. Would highly recommend and I will be using them for future tree trimming and removal services.

Great service from the first contact through service days and follow up. We had a huge oak tree with thousands of galls. The tree was sick and dropping limbs so we could not park our vehicle anywhere near it. We were stunned at the equipment they used to methodically and carefully remove the tree from the top down. I highly recommend Root’s Tree Service! While we’re sad that this tree is gone, it was the safest thing to do. Job requested and completed within one week in January 2026.

I really appreciate the short notice evaluation of a split in the trunk of a tree that could have collapsed half of it on my house. They came out within an hour of seeing my pictures for a quote and were out first thing in the morning to remove it.
