We bought a very nice large maple tree. it was then delivered several days later with all the leaves showing signs of not being watered and several branches that had no living leaves; the leaves were so dry they were crunchy and turned to dust. We then returned to the nursery with our concerns and were told that the "dad" would have to come look at the tree. A week later we still had not heard from them. I called back and was told again, he would call me back. This time he called back a day and a half later. But his excuse was that we lived too far away from the nursery. We live 12.2 miles from their nursery. Its a 20 minute ride. It was explained that the extra time it takes a truck to travel that apparently is just too much for these trees. We have another nursery we use regularly but it did not have the tree we wanted so we bought from here. our other nursery is 9.9 miles away, but still takes 20+ minutes due to it all being city traffic. I am so disappointed and disgusted. The product delivered is not the product we bought and a 12.2 mile truck ride did not cause the leaves to lose all of their water. We will not be buying any more from here.

Magical Garden has the most welcoming, kind staff and are always willing to help in any way they can. Immediately when I walked in, I was greeted with a smile, and it made me so excited to pick out my favorite flowers!!! I will always continue to give them business!! They’re the BEST!

We've been going here for the past 10 years. Nice selection and nice people. Needs a little upkeep here and there. Plants need to be positioned upright and arranged neatly. Plants should have price tags and growing information. The store needs more lighting and upkeep as well.

This is the only negative review I have ever written. I’d give 0 starts if possible. I was charged $1000 to bury down spouts. Initially Libra charged me $1600. I thought the job involved more work and material than needed when agreeing to the work. Libra told me he would bring 6 guys out and the job would take about 3 hours for his guys. It took 3 guys less than an hour and a half. He also said he was using a corrugated pipe that was smooth on the inside which they didn’t. Libra never came out to inspect the work upon completion. I had another contractor tell me that it wasn’t done correctly. The drain pipe leveled out the last 20 feet and actually went up the last 5 feet. Where the water was suppose to exit wasn’t even buried and was more than 6 inches above the bottom on my fence. I emailed and called several times and Libra hasn’t responded. I also asked for break down of materials and labor so that I could understand what I was paying for, but it was never provided. I actually had to dig up the last 20 feet and fix it myself. It was a very frustrating and disappointing experience that could have been resolved if Libra would have come out and inspected the work upon completion.

Very friendly people. I had a good experience ordering Mulch from them. Their prices are very reasonable too.

We're on our second year as customers, and I plan to have many more in the future. While the site supply of plants and trees may not seem endless, it's more than adequate for the lion's share of landscaping. The owner's family has a separate, but well-integtated landscaping service that can also assist. Any time we have stopped for plants, flowers, or tree advice, the owner (presumably) has always been very helpful and given honest advice and strategies.

I would highly recommend checking out Magical Garden for anyone in the Oswego-area.

Magical Garden truly saved the day! I stopped by to buy bales of hay, with some bad cornstalks piled up on my Jeep. While loading the hay, the associate noticed my cornstalks were actually molded 😡. I had assumed it was just residue or spray from the batch I picked up at Meijer—I’d never seen molded stalks before, so I didn’t realize what I had.

He kindly discarded the bad stalks and replaced them with beautiful, tall, and healthy ones 😃. His knowledge and genuine willingness to help was exceptional—I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate his expertise and service.

This is exactly the kind of customer care we all hope to find—attentive, honest, and refreshing. Run, don’t walk, to Magical Garden for your fall décor and experience this rare level of service for yourself! 👌🏾

This place is our top pick for trees. The quality of the trees is outstanding - they have many different types of spruce trees and they are mature heights. The price for the quality is exceptional.

Also - this family-run business is top notch for customer service. They are kind and so helpful when you are looking for trees. When you purchase, they deliver and install for a reasonable fee. The level of work they do on-site is amazing. It would have taken us months to accomplish what they did in an hour.

Hands down the best tree place. I wish I could give more than five stars.

My association hired this company for lawn care across 300+ town home units. The services they provide are worthless. They use the easiest equipment for their workers, yet still take a full day to complete the work. The care they show with the damage done to the lawns is terrible. This company shows no pride in the work they leave behind. They should continue to lose business for lawn care services.

Horrible service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are terrible. They cut down and ripped out bushes they were not suppose to. I called the owner Jeff and he said “too bad” and hung up on me. An owner of a company. Their workers are negligent and leave the property worse than when they arrived. Owner is terrible. Use someone more reputable.

Prime Cut Lawn Care hits my personal thresholds of what I consider a good local business.

    • PCLC is prompt and on time - PCLC makes sure to hits all necessary benchmarks to keep my lawn healthy and clean all year long.

    • They treat me like a customer, not a paycheck - PCLC treats me like a client. I receive communication from them via mail, in person, etc. I never am surprised by an 'additional add on' to a bill. The price that is offered, is the price that I pay.

    • PCLC answer's my questions - I've spoken with the local technicians on site about concerns to lawn in the past. I was most impressed when unknown answers to my questions were answered by a call back, via someone who did know an answer.

    • They react to my concerns - I've worked with PCLC on personal lawn concerns. They responded with professionalism, curiosity and solutions.

I'll continue to do business with Prime Cut Lawn Care. They've proven through action, that they can execute a job as well as handle themselves professionally.

They come around to blow leaves today, not sure why because all they did was mess up the mulch, they blew our doormat across the front patio and didn't bother to fix it, this happens every time they come they don't care about the houses, they just want to be in and out as fast as humanly possible. They did our mulch beds a week or two ago and didn't do any kind of edges, very low quality work. When they cut the lawns they leave lots of grass uncut, but the sections they do cut they scalp and kill the greass.no weed wacking or anything. They seem content to do an embarrassingly bad job every time. If I was the owner of this place I would be absolutely humiliated at the quality of work of these guys.

Jeff and his guys fixed the mess!! I can now drive up to my home and enjoy what I see! Jeff was wonderful to work with and very patient with me (as I kept changing things on him). His prices are very reasonable and they do great work! I will be recommending Jeff and his team to my homeowners I sell too for sure!
    Thanks Jeff! 🏡🌳🌻

Your employee in the company vehicle likes to cut in line in the drive thru. Happened at McAlister's Deli!

We live at Spring of Three Oaks and this is by far the worst snow removal company out there. They failed to remove the snow from the parking lot and it has now all turned into black ice because they just through salt everywhere. They were here from 4am-12(8hrs) and there is still piles of snow all over the parking lot nothing is cleared out and the sidewalks have so much salt on them its all over my apartment.

They have no quality control and they plow the entire lot with a bobcat they have no salt truck or plow trucks.

I highly recommend avoiding this company. The only 5 star reviews from people with no comment which normally means they are fake reviews.

I want to commend you folks on the spectacular job you did at a Carol Stream Park near me. I am a 40 year Landscape Architect, contractor and horticulturist. You have turned this area into a native wonderland! Thank you. Kevin Wobrock
