After the two snowfalls we’ve had this season, I honestly can’t believe how awful the snow-removal effort was from this company. During the first storm, they were out here for over 24 hours straight accomplishing absolutely nothing. Machines running nonstop, trucks beeping all through the night and early morning. But the roads looked the same every time I checked, like the world’s saddest time-lapse. Piles pushed from one corner to the other, ice everywhere, snowed over, covered roads. Just a disaster.

Then the next storm, they didn’t even show up until around 10 pm, even though they had the entire day to prep. It came across as an operation stretched so thin they’re just trying to keep their heads above water instead of actually staying ahead of a storm.

And of course, all of this is bundled into our community fees, which makes it even more frustrating. The whole thing gives off “lowest-bid-wins” energy, like someone picked the cheapest option and hoped no one would notice the consequences. The equipment is way too small for a neighborhood this size, with one man tirelessly driving a single
Bobcat around, and the effort feels about as coordinated as a grade school group project where no one met beforehand.

Honestly, from what I watched, a group of kindergartners with playground shovels might have shown more efficiency. At least they’d attack the snow with enthusiasm instead of whatever this slow-motion confusion was supposed to be.

Two storms so far, same end result every time: a sloppy, chaotic mess that left the neighborhood looking neglected and borderline unsafe.

From my experience alone, I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone. Whatever we’re paying for, this isn’t it. Look elsewhere.

Twin Oaks does landscaping & snow removal for the Springs at Oswego apartment community, and does a horrible job. I would NEVER hire them.

They salt the front of the community only, every time. Their trailer blocks resident parking or they clog up the one road we have in the community. They sometimes begin plowing at 8pm when storms ended the day before. They do not salt or plow with any kind of consistency. Once they even plowed a 2 foot tall barrier of snow in front of my garage that immediately turned to ice, leaving me unable to park or use my garage.

When it comes to lawn services you can expect more of the same complete lack of care, inconsistent service, and absurd timing. Avoid this company.

ABC has always been responsive to my lawn care needs. They do there job and I never have to follow up with them. Very satisfied!

Julian did amazing job on the mulching in my front and back yard! He's was on time and did the work in a timely manner! 11/10 I recommend!

Aeration Service
Your two men did a great aeration job on our lawn today. Very careful and precise, and cleaned up sidewalks afterwards.
The best I’ve ever seen!

Twice I had all shrubs trimmed. The crew did exactly as I asked and left a rather scraggly bunch of bushes in a much better shape. Really toned up the yard. This is rare these days.

We also used this company for seasonal maintenance. They communicate well and are responsive to our questions. Office staff is friendly and professional over the phone. Maintenance workers who come to our home are patient and nice.

I had to let them go after 3 weeks of cutting my lawn. They always went to fast and missed patches of grass. We have a little tyke house in our yard and they never moved it. After 3 weeks I looked under it and there was a foot of grass underneath. Would not recommend.

I’ve had the opportunity to get to know John Garretson the owner at Abc Lawn Works over the last few years. John has always shown excellent communication skills between customers and clients. John and his company offer excellent services to maintain your property. I know John really cares about his customers and those he has met in his life. I’ve seen Abc Lawn Works step forward to help, when another company was in need without expecting anything in return. John runs a very honest company!! Local too!

I can't say enough about ABC. We have been using for about 3 years. If I ever have a problem, ex. weeds on my parkway, they are quick to come out and rectify the problem. Paying my bills online could not be easier.

I'm sure they will reply to this review with some sort of justification but facts cannot be ignored. There was a lot of miscommunication happening but even what they were supposed to complete they didn't deliver. When confronted about it they didn't acknowledge the fact that the job done wasn't effective. And they didn't want to rectify it by refunding either. Terrible people and a terrible company. Do not waste your money here. Many other companies stand by their work and if not done properly would attempt to rectify it free of charge. The greed and carelessness displayed by this company is atrocious. As they will try to save face by replying to this and trying to undermind or discredit my expirience, move forward with them at your own risk.

Danny was just here a day or two ago and I can already see a big difference in my yard. ABC is just wonderful And reasonable. Danny is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend them I would give them more stars if I could.

The service we have received this season has been less than stellar!

This is what we came home to after ABC was there to "mow"
Whoever you have running the crew in Oswego needs to be re-trained.
You get off the mower if there is obstacles (tree branches and sticks) or GARBAGE, but instead your employee mows over everything in the path.
We mentioned this to the owner once before and nothing has improved.
There is never any trimming done - just a lightening speed pass over the lawn.
We were hopeful that things would improve but we have not seen that happen - too bad!!
ABC had a opportunity to take over all the contracts for the other properties we own, not a chance with the service we received this season.

In today's age you can't use the excuse of having no record because a name doesn't match.

Love being able to coordinate everything quick, easy, and via email/online! Lawn service is always well done and the weed control service is the best! Noticeable difference after just 1 application! Amazing!

ABC Lawnworks, is the BEST around in my opinion. We've tried other lawn care businesses before & they weren't even close. The employees are kind, curtious & professional in what they do. We have had them for several years now. I won't let anyone cut my lawn, other than ABC Lawnworks.
