    I'm extremely disappointed with Precision Today. As a former Dykstra customer, I never had an issue until they took over. Scheduling appointments is a frustrating process - the people on the phone don't actually schedule anything, just take your number and have someone else call you back. It's like they're not even trying to make it easy for customers. When we finally got an appointment, things only got worse. Someone called at the scheduled time to reschedule us, which was already a Monday afternoon appointment. We were told that due to being short-staffed from inheriting Dykstra's business, there was only one technician available on Wednesdays. It's unacceptable to have so few staff members handling such a large volume of customers. After days of our generator finally being serviced, it stopped working completely. Given it was only three years old, we were stumped as to what could be wrong. We called Precision multiple times, but were told there would be delays due to being overwhelmed with furnace calls. I understand the issue, but that's no excuse for not addressing our concerns. We ended up calling another company and discovered that Precision failed to inspect our battery, which was corroded. It's clear they didn't take the time to properly maintain our equipment. My husband paid over $200 for an annual service plan, but it's essentially useless when we can't get service as needed or any of the other perks we were promised. Each time I called Precision, I'd be told a payment was due for the plan, despite having already paid in full. It seemed like they just made internal errors that no one bothered to correct. Every conversation ended with me correcting them and advising they had paid in full. We've since switched preferred dealers after using Dykstra for multiple services and products. To be honest, Precision lacks professionalism, care, and staffing. They clearly don't have the capacity to provide good service, let alone compete with us for our business again.
