Joel is excellent. He provides quality work at a reasonable price. We came home from a trip to find that we had no heat. He organizes his schedule in a way that allows him to accommodate emergency repairs. I highly recommend.

I am selling my house and I was told I needed to replace my furnace . I was stressed out because I knew it was going to cost a lot of money. I went on line to find a reputable HVAC company and came across Joel's Heating and Cooling. I read reviews and my gut told me to go with them. I called and spoke with Joel who said he can come out same day. I have to say in today's world people will take advantage of situations. Joel inspected my unit and said it needed to be cleaned and minor replacements needed to be done but that I did not need a new furnace like another company suggested. Thank Joel for being a man with integrity because there are not to many people that have that. May God bless you and I will always be a big fan of yours and will refer you to everyone I know.

The five star reviews are correct. We wanted a new Lennox AC unit installed. Joel's quote was the lowest among all reputable companies/ Lennox authorized dealers. He is busy but responds to your texts or calls back. He installed our unit when it was still cold and came back on a warm day to start it. Everything went smoothly. After two summers with a struggling old AC unit, we now have cold air without headache again.

I called Joel tonight at 6:45 and he was over 20 minutes later to look into a smell coming from my furnace. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and affordable. I would recommend Joel to anyone looking for someone for their furnace or AC needs.

Our AC was starting to act up, then the night before it just stopped blowing cold air. I have two small children at home so it was urgent to have someone come out as soon as possible. I called around but everyone had their set hours of service and overpriced. I found Joel and he was able to come out to my home that same evening, after hours. He identified the problem and was able to fix the AC within an hour. He was professional, reasonably priced, and explained the issue to us in detail. I definitely recommend Joel and will be calling him again for any future HVAC needs.

In the coldest day of 2021, Joel answered the call to service our house late at night as temperatures began to drop, significantly. He even went out of his way to get the shop opened up in the early hours of the morning to ensure he had the right part for our furnace. We are very grateful for his responsiveness and QUICK service. Our air conditioner started having issues again for the 3rd time since we let another company come out and fix it. This time we called Joel and he came right out and let us know the previous company and put a part on incorrectly which caused a second part to fail as well. Once he replaced both parts about a couple of weeks ago it has been running great ever since. In fact we noticed it is working alot better and it much cooler in the house since he serviced it than when the proir company "fixed" it twice before. Highly recommend this company.

Joel was great! I sent in an email request to 3 different companies, and all three responded first thing in the morning. I decided to go with Joel because he was 100% transparent and honest responding to all the questions I asked him. The other two were not. In fact one company sent a repair technician to my house even though I told them not to!
Seeing as it was below zero and I have an infant and a 3 year old in the house I needed this fixed asap. Joel went above and beyond in finding a new part for my furnace. No one had it locally, and he found the part in Chicago and went to pick it up. I'm sure this effectively killed his afternoon schedule, but he honestly helped me out big time and I appreciate it.

Joel was great! Called late in the evening and he came to the house quickly as our heat was not working. He ran back to his shop and grabbed the part he had in stock and installed same night! My A/C unit stopped working at 8pm so I called as many AC companies as I could first thing the next morning. Joel got back to me within 15 minutes of leaving a voicemail, and he was at my house fixing the capacitor within 4 hours on a 90 degree day. He quickly fixed the problem and I felt the pricing was reasonable as well. I would highly recommend Joel for repairs and service.

My husband and I had been receiving quarterly maintenance on our furnace and a/c units from a large service company in the area. Over the time the repairs started to become more expensive. Yesterday we were told there was a carbon monoxide leak and were showed a picture of a hole in our furnace’s heat exchanger. As the unit was old it would not have made sense to repair it and the company provided us several quotes that were suspicious, quite high and offered very little detail. We decided to get a second opinion and alternate quote from Joel. I can’t tell how lucky we were to have had him come out and look at the unit. It turns out the furnace was fine and there was no hole in the exchanger. We were being scammed. Joel will be getting our regular maintenance business and when our units finally go that business as well. We are also telling our friends and neighbors to switch. Honesty and professionalism is alive and well and called Joel’s Heating and Cooling.

There is a reason why Joel has consistent 5 star reviews across the board, could not have asked for a better experience.

I asked Joel come out to check on our home's furnace and perform any preventative maintenance that may need to be done prior to winter coming. He is extremely communicative, was on time, he and his helper were very nice, professional, and worked efficiently. He was in and out in under an hour.

He walked me through at the end what work was done, what needed to maybe be looked at in the future, and was realistic about what I COULD spend money on if I wanted to but did not try to sell me on any services or upsells that would be redundant or unnecessary at this time.

He also let me know if I ever needed any recommendations as a new homeowner for any other services in the area (plumbing, electrical, general contracting) that he could provide suggestions for reputable contractors in the area that he trusts, which is above and beyond what I could hope for.

Really happy I trusted the reviews I found on here and picked Joel, he's got a customer for life moving forward.
