Had them install 12 outlets in my unfinished basement.
Now I have a big area in the basement, and the walls are insulated making mounting conduit difficult (and they must have run well over 400ft of conduit). I was also not home during the installation and did not mark the locations were I wanted..

I explained where I wanted the outlets but told them not to worry about the areas where I had stuff packed against the walls because I didn’t want to bother them moving my stuff (I would have felt bad since I did not properly prep the area). I told them to use their best judgement with the space they had.

Well I must say, I got home and the job they did brought a tear of joy to my eyes. They did not mind moving the stuff away from my walls in the basement, and everything looked beautiful. The did a great job repairing g the insulation that they needed to cut and the work looks like it was originally put in when the house was built.

The quality work I recurved was worth way more than I paid for. I heavily recommend them to anyone looking for extremely quality work at a dirt cheap price.

Elmer and Pete did a phenomenal job installing several lights and outlets in our basement as well as a new outdoor light in the alcove outside our front door. They were professional and did the work efficiently and high quality. I would recommend Fail Safe for any residential electrical work.

I needed 20yr old smoke detectors replaced in my home. Rich came out and had the job done in less than an hour. Replaced and tested all detectors to ensure they worked properly. He was on time, friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend Fail Safe and Rich for future needs.

Amazing service. Came out the next day to install our Nest doorbell. A few weeks later, we called him because of a wiring issue. Came 2 hours later, installed a new wire, got the fan to work all in less than an hour. Very reasonable price for great work. Highly recommend.

Louie came out promptly to provide the quote for installing an electric garage heater, and follow-up communications and scheduling were straightforward and easy. Elmer and Bennie came out to do the install and were very professional and provided recommendations for placement that worked better for our needs. The job was completed in a timely manner and the garage heater looks and works great. Definitely a plus to be able to have a quote provided electronic and use ApplePay. Would definitely call again for more work!

I was having a frustrating time with my in-ground pool installation, the contractors told me where I wanted my pump and filter was not possible without pressure loss due to distance. I contacted Fail Safe because I needed a line ran from my basement to my backyard and then ran across the yard.

There was a lot of missing pieces that were causing me and Fail Safe a lot of stress but Louie kept in contact and walked me though everything that would be needed for the install. Rich was the primary installer, he ran a new line through the basement without issue and then him, along with Armani and Alex, trenched the line along the side of my pool, in the rain mind you, and was able to hook everything up perfectly.

The job looked great and was even complemented by the inspector! I greatly appreciate the patience they had with this project and look forward to working with them in the future.

Had a few GFCI outlets that needed replacing and some wiring that needed to be reworked. Louis was at our house as scheduled and completed the job quickly and efficiently, and was great to work with. Would absolutely recommend to anyone needing a electrician!

I made an appointment to have GCFI outlets installed and get a quote on a project. The day of the appointment they were a no-show. I was told they forgot to book my appointment and a nearby crew would see me next. An 8:00am appointment turned into a 12:30pm arrival. The electricians that arrived had no clue about the quote and had to call their boss to come out. He gave me a reasonable estimate ($1,800) and said he would get back to me with a detailed quote. Two and a half weeks later and the company never got back to me with the quote and didn't return messages. I was willing to pay $1,800 to $2,000 for the project, but I guess it wasn't worth their time. I went with another local company. Giving two stars instead of one because the employees I talked to were friendly and it wasn't their fault. My rating is strictly based on customer service and not job performance or quality.

Edit (due to owner's response): I was not told the company was extremely busy; the statement was "A project for another day." I did not expect them to start digging right then and there. Yes, they did take 30 seconds to fix an outlet by flipping a breaker that I missed in a secondary box. I would have considered my time during the no-show/late arrival as a payment for that anyway. Like I said, friendly people, just obviously have more business than they can handle.

Called Fail Safe to inquiry about an exterior outlet installation for my backyard and I was able to get a quote easily as my project was straight forward and they had an opening that same day. Lee was the electrician doing the installation and he was polite and quick. From my time to calling to the project completion, less than 2.5 hours passed.

I will certainly be using their services again for some upcoming projects.

I feel compelled to leave a good review. Not because of the work they do, but because of the experience I’ve heard in detail through word of mouth. And it seems to match the other reviews. Kind, respectful, quick as they’re able to go, and most importantly, COURTEOUS AND HONEST. I think we can all agree it can be anxiety inducing having to make the call for service, then have them come into your home, then pray it’s not gonna cost an entire paycheck to fix. So kindness and patience from servicemen goes a long way. Kindness in general does.

I had an electrical emergency and Louie came out in an hour and half. While here, he and ComEd quickly determined it was a ComEd problem, so Louie wasn’t needed. I asked what I owed him for making the trip out so quickly and he refused to take my money. They are prompt and professional and I will be calling them for my electrical needs moving forward.

From beginning to end, it was an excellent experience. They were thorough in discussing all options for our under counter lighting project and we were beyond pleased with the results! Highly recommend using them and we will indeed use them again!
