I have always been pleased with Darwyn’s Plumbing and today was no different. I scheduled my annual whole house inspection and I’m so glad I did. Most everything was fine but then we discovered my water heater has a slow leak and needs to be replaced! So grateful to Stepvon for spotting that and walking me through the next steps. Thanks!

It is my pleasure to highly recommend Darwyn's Plumbing. When setting up the appointment, the office person was cordial and friendly. The technician (Stepvon) who came out to repair faulty bathroom shower/tub faucets, was professional, friendly, and his work ethic was high quality. He explained in detail what was going to be done and then he accomplished the project.

Very nice people but don't show up to work, they have my project a week behind waiting on them. They are certainly not very professional by any means. They no show and then they won't answer their phone either ,won't return calls, absolutely horrible.

Did a fine job repairing the garbage disposal and very informative as well

Very professional and knowledgeable service that knows the area sewage system. They outlined the process of diagnosing the issue. As well as able to offer financing options that will take the ease of the upfront cost. Will gladly recommend this company, as well as do more business in the future.

So far worked with Darwin Plumbing twice this year concerning sewage issues. Technicians were readily available to address my concerns and fixed the drainage problem with no mishap. Will happily do business with them again.

Mr Darwin was very helpful in navigating me through the beginning of the proces of dealing with Illinois American water company and their unwillingness to worh with their own clients.
I feel he gave me a realistic estimate on the work.
Darwyn's was recommended to me by a trustworthy friend and I feel confident in using this service.

The guy that showed up was awesome. What i didn't like was the price he quoted me straight to my face. $6000 for a hot tub install. Which meant they dropped it on the ground and hook up the drain which is already there..... 6 grand? Really

The experience was great.
We had called another plumbing company and they were a no show as promised. We were able to get a repair technician out the same day but it took three days to get out sewer line repair completed. However, it was explained why it we had to wait... Julie (joint utilities line) was involved. The technicians along with the owner were very courteous and respectful of us as well as our property.

Darwyn and his team were great. Very reliable, explained things clearly and answered my questions. Worked quickly and left the place spotless. Prices are good. I will totally call them again when I need a plumber.

Responded to phone call right away. Came next day. Said they needed to come back with required part- and they did in three hours. All involved very friendly curteous and professional. The amount of repair costs seemed high, but I didn’t shop it, so can’t say with certainty. I would recommend.

So I was recommended this company because it’s black owned and I wanted to support that. Technician was almost 2h late with no apology, not even an introduction or at minimum a hello good afternoon my name is__. I had to call the company at the actual service time to see where the technician was. He had very little personality and used a lot of jargon that I would assume the average customer would never know. Quoted over $450 for a $32 part repair that was told would take “maybe 30 minutes to fix” I’ve NEVER paid more than an hourly labor fee plus parts for any type of plumbing/electrical/service repair. When asked why it was so expensive the answer was “you’re paying for the experience for us to do it and if it ever needs to be replaced we come out for free” if that’s the case, ask me if I want optional insurance on the repair. Or, don’t advertise that your work is top tier and of upmost quality if there is (clearly) a significant chance it will fail. Overall, subpar experience, once I finally said “just tell me what needs to be fixed” I got a clear answer. It probably would have been easier for him to explain to me if he wasn’t listening to music or whatever on his phone/airpods the whole time. I was tempted multiple times to reach out and press *pause* on the phone so that maybe I could get a clear answer.

Only positive was he seemed knowledgeable about plumbing issues- just had horrible skills with expressing it and engaging with customers.

DARWYN CAME OUT AND GAVE ME A FREE ESTIMATE ON MY UPCOMING PROJECT. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO DOING BUSINESS WITH DARWYN'S PLUMBING

Darwyn's Plumbing did a great job for us. The company we hired before them tried for several days and couldn't resolve our plumbing issues. Ortoryon expertly fixed our plumbing and in only a few hours !!! I highly recommend Darwyn'd Plumbing !!!
