We have used County Tree Service before, but this time was to take down a gigantic grandfather of an oak, immediately beside our house. Brian came to give us the quote exactly when he said he would & when accepted, the crew arrived exactly when he said they would! They were all so professional & even though the job took almost five hours, my husband & I were mesmerized by the skill involved in downing a mighty oak. We're in the entertainment business, so we watched almost the entire process, as if watching a wonderful ballet. The crew were incredibly careful with our lawn, drive & landscaping & cleaned everything up, as if they'd never been there. I HATED taking that tree down, as the oldest on our 2 acre property, but at least it was handled beautifully. Bravo to County Tree Service!

These guys did a great job removing two trees and stumps from my backyard. The trees were in somewhat tricky locations but there seemed to be no problem and the crew was very fast. Left no mess and were very prompt and professional with all communications. They came in by far the lowest quote and were able to work with me to get the project closed out quicker than I had expected. Will be using them for any tree service needs in the future.

County Tree Service was the only tree service of the three I contacted after the storm downed many trees in our county who came by that day to quote the work that needed to be done. Even though they were swamped like other companies, they fit us in. They came within the next day to clean up the big limbs that fell in our yard, remove a tree and trim dead branches out of another tree.Very reasonable prices. There are very hard workers who go the extra mile! Impressive!

This is a delayed review form October of 2024. I reached out to this business and got a response from Brian. I needed two piles of tree branches/yard waste removed from a residential property that had excess overgrowth that I had cut down. I wasn't able to be there when they came out, but my wife and father in law were. We were fortunate enough to have alley access to the property so they pulled up behind our home, grabbed everything, threw it in the chipper and were on their way. Bonus points, they swept up the entire area where the truck/chipper was so there was no debris left behind. Highly recommend this company.

I am so happy that I chose County Tree Service. I had requested an estimate from another company and didn’t want the hassle of getting multiple estimates even though it’s a good idea to get more than one estimate, of course. I thought I was only asking for one estimate on Yelp but I must have checked a box or something requesting many estimates because I received several dozen inquiries. Then a man from County Tree Service texted me saying he could be over within the hour to give me an estimate to cut down a very large tree that was threatening my house, garage, shop, and vehicles. His estimate seemed very reasonable but the tree service I had originally contacted was to come out the next day to give their estimate, which turned out to be much higher than County Tree Services estimate. In fact, County’s estimate was so much lower that I hoped there wasn’t going to be some type of a catch.

Well, there wasn’t a catch. County’s crew came out today and did an incredible job. Everyone on the crew was very professional and highly skilled. It was fascinating to see them work. A couple hours later, the tree was gone except for the huge trunk logs that couldn’t fit in the chipper. The crew went above and beyond to clean up any sign that they were here. I was tempted to go out and tell them that they didn’t have to be so thorough in the cleanup because, for example, mowing the lawn would take care of most of it but the noise of the equipment was so loud that they probably wouldn’t be able to hear me if I tried to talk to them. When they were done, someone wouldn’t be able to tell that a tree had been cut down – a huge tree, in fact. The only thing left was the huge logs from the main trunk which they temporarily left in my front yard. Some of them must have weighed several tons. Then, about an hour later I heard another big truck back into my driveway with a different type of crane and, within minutes, there was virtually no sign of all the work that had been done.

I highly recommend County Tree Service and I couldn’t be more happy with their work. I’ve had other trees removed in the past that were smaller and much easier it remove and I was charged more than what County Tree Service charged me for removing the huge tree and County Tree Services clean-up was much better than the other tree services I used in the past. I am so happy with their work and their price.

Outstanding job! The tree being cut was sizable and located in an intrusive area surrounded by power lines, property lines, and close to the home. Brian provided a competitive offer and said the job can be done no sweat. The team managed to cut this tree and make it look easy! Best in the business hands down.

I have had trees removed several times over the past 20 years, and having County Tree Removal Service recently was the best experience ever. Everyone that I came in contact with was so nice , polite, and professional, and really wanted to please me - and they did. There was never a problem communicating throughout the project, and they were very dependable. I couldn't have he asked for better crews, and their clean-up was great - you would have never known that five trees were removed from my yard. I highly recommend them!

County Tree Service did an outstanding job taking down a large, dilapidated conifer on my property. From start to finish, they were professional, polite, and incredibly efficient. The team arrived right on schedule, treated my property with respect, and were courteous to my neighbors throughout the process.

They dismantled the tree safely and thoroughly cleaned up afterward, leaving the space even tidier than before. Their services are also refreshingly affordable, making them an unbeatable choice for any tree removal needs. I’ll definitely keep them in mind if I ever need tree work done again. Highly recommend!

My mom and I had them come out today for a tree trimming. It was fine at first until I came out and saw that my car was hit (my mom will post about their actual service, which she said “they act like bad used car salesmen”) They denied it consistently, were extremely dismissive, and refused to give me their insurance information, so I had to call the police to come write a report. This turned into an hour long ordeal. Simply put, the report says that it was this companies fault and did in fact hit our car. Again, they refused to give me their insurance info and I had to wait until the police report was made to get that info. Would never use again!!!

They did a phenomenal job trimming the large Mulberry tree that towers over the back of our condo building. Worked around decks and power lines with no issue. Very professional staff and reasonable pricing.

I had County Tree Service out to trim a very old elm tree in my back yard. I was impressed by the size of the crew (6 men) and their work ethic. They brought a chipper and cleaned up everything afterwards, including leaves on the garage roof. Afterwards they put my lawn furniture and bird feeders back in place. I've got my fingers crossed that the tree will be better for the hair cut it received today, but they showed me photos of limbs that were cracked and would likely fall under their own weight or the force of a windstorm, so I agreed to let them remove them. And they reassured me that they were professionals and only took what was necessary ... dead limbs and limbs interfering with roofs, the neighbors' yards, and the power lines. I miss my massive elm crown and the shade it has provided all these years, but the basic structure looks so much better. And I feel safer too. Looking forward to spring.

Called several companies for pricing of large messy mulberry tree removal and pruning of our ornamental trees. Brian gave us the best pricing. His guys came out and methodically removed the mulberry tree from our small courtyard. The crew came back a few days later to grind out the stump. I would definitely recommend for tree removal and will have them back in the future to trim our ornamental trees.

I can not say enough about this tree service! 💯I would recommend them. I found them through google and yelp reviews. At first a bit sceptical but when Brian came to do the same day estimate he assured us they were able to get the very large 🌲 cleared away and let us know exactly what to expect in advance. ALL of those guys worked so well together and were very respectful of our property from the very first contact all the way to the stump remover and cleaned everything up afterwards !! I even called the Insurance Company to verify them and the Insurance Rep said “ you picked a GREAT company!” 😂 SOLD!!

Very pleased with the quality, cost and service of County Tree Service, after the job was complete I called Brian back so they can remove a small piece of the stump that was missed from the 1st time they came out, the job is now 100% complete. Great Job!

I hired this company because of all the good reviews. However what ended up happening was a disaster. I feel like there was a bait and switch. The foreman who was out, gave our estimate, and we discussed our job with was not present on the job site. The crew had trucks branded with a completely different company name so clearly they outsource their jobs. Our scope was to trim branches away from our house (so we would not have trim for another couple years) and trimming up but leaving the bottom canopy. The trees were growing from our neighbors property, which we don't mind, and were trimming just so branches were not rubbing against our house and roof. The other part was in the back of our yard which we had a huge tree providing coverage and blocking from our neighbors behind. The same applied - trim away from garage and front but leave canopy for privacy. The crew lead said they would know on my door before cutting to be sure. I then went inside, took a call and then looked out the window. Most of the back tree was completely gone - nothing left between our yard and neighbor's (the tree on the right in the picture had branches stretching and covering the view all the way across to the garage). And no knock. What else ensued was them trimming straight up along our fence just hacking huge limbs (see photos). This was completely different from what I discussed and what was documented on the written estimate. I told them to leave as they had destroyed my yard enough. The foreman's response was sorry but trees grow back. When you cut them the way they did - they do not grow back the same way. It will take years, if ever, to get our backyard privacy back - likely the need to plan more trees on our own. I am not sure if the reviews are real on here but I would stay away.
