Garrett and Carlton were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and installed our radon system perfectly. The day of we had some questions on placement after thinking it over from our initial consult to place it on the side of the house. We asked their opinion on putting it on the back or the side of the house and they recommended the side, so that we wouldn’t hear the minor fan noise in the backyard from our deck. We were worried about the aesthetics on the side of the house versus hiding it in the back, but they were so right! Putting it on the side of the house allows us not to have to stare at it ourselves, and it’s now in a discreet spot on the side. We interviewed another radon company when choosing our vendor and Midwest Radon’s initial consult for us was 10 times more knowledgeable than the other company, which was a separate visit from install. We are thrilled with our new system!

Midwest Radon was awesome! Mike, who came out for the initial estimate explained everything very thoroughly and clearly. The guys who came out for the install were incredibly neat (they meticulously covered their pathway with a drop cloth and vacuumed afterwards, the pipes were installed beautifully and everything was explained during and after the install. They also sealed my sump pump and the perimeter with radon caulk. Highly recommend Midwest Radon! They exceeded my expectations!

Some neighbors had to hire an electrician to connect the radon system and a plumber to seal the sump pit. Midwest Radon Services did it. Therefore completed in less than a day. Midwest Radon worked very quickly with us to repair our radon system, replacing the fan the day after we received a high radon test. Chuck was great to work with and their pricing was very competitive compared to other companies I called.

I had an existing radon system that wasn’t working correctly. I contacted the original company who did the installation and they told me that the readings I was receiving were OK. The readings were five and above and that’s not good.

I contacted Midwest Radon and asked them to please come over and evaluate my system.

Midwest pointed out my system was not installed correctly. They pointed out.
The pipe in the floor was not installed correctly. It was missing a flange, the ventilation pipe leading outside had a pitch to it. Which means water is sitting in the ventilation pipe. The wrong size fan was used to pull the raid on from the floor. Just a nightmare.

I contracted Midwest radon services to reinstall the system correctly. Very friendly people. Very knowledgeable. They are very thorough in the installation process and how the system should operate. I was very pleased with Mike.
