Received damaged goods. And can't get a reply back from KBA. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE JOKERS !!!

    watch out for hidden charges!!!!

Online stated no shipping. Once almost all the way through ordering the Item there was $15.00 "handling charge"! Deceptive advertisement so I a paid little more ($2) at a reputable online store that had full disclosure of price and fees.

I had K & B Authority do my entire first floor. Kitchen, bathroom, new mud/laundry room, new fireplace, & new doors in the entire house. They did a GREAT job!! I would highly recommend them & would definatly have them do future work!! A+++

I would highly consider using a different vendor. K&BA's return process is exteremely antiquated/delayed and customer service call center isn't much better.

I called this company with the goal of obtaining a third and final bid for an early fall remodel. I knew they had been in business a long time.

The job would have included custom cabinetry and counter tops for my kitchen and bath (using the same foot print) and flooring for 2/3 of my main floor.

The woman who answered the phone, to me, sounded very short and clipped, as I began to describe my needs (I never got to finish). I figured I could provide the scope of work (SOW)on site.

Upon trying to schedule someone to bid, to my dismay, I discovered she would be the one coming out I explained that I worked Monday-Friday 8-5 pm (like many). Long story short, she asked if I could get off work early, provide her a drawing (???) and wait 10 days for her to come out. I was also informed she wouldn't be out on a Friday because she didn't work on Fridays

There is no pretense of needing/wanting work here...I thanked her for her time, but told her I was looking for a company who would be happy to accomodate me, not the other way around.

I will be going with one of the other 2 companies..2 days to get their bids (and THEIR drawings).

We are gutting and remodeling a kitchen. I wanted to discuss possible design options. They insisted I pick out cabinets, doors, and countertops as soon as I walked in, without having any idea about the space. They had no pricing info available. The designers didn’t know how much their countertops cost per linear foot, or even what finishes, cabinet lines, or door types were comparatively more or less expensive. Couldn’t answer basic questions about quality or differences between products. We went with another company.

If you already know exactly what you want, this might be a good option. Staffed by friendly people who seemed stressed.

Terrible service and doesn’t take responsibility for their errors. Stay away and use a legit merchant.
They shipped the wrong product and I received a bill for the return shipping. Also the contractor I hired for installation informed me what was received was not what they were hired to install. As they should have they charged me for showing up but KB Authority told me that was my problem.

I ordered an 84” vanity from KBA that arrived damaged. The policy stated that if the box that the product came in wasn’t damaged to accept the delivery. This order consisted of three boxes - two 48” vanity bases and an 84” vanity top. We followed the policy as the boxes were not damaged and accepted the three pieces. When we opened the vanity top box the vanity top was completely cracked. The VP of Sales for the company promised in writing to refund me the full amount of $2179. He requested that I take a video of the vanity basesto be sure they weren’t damaged. He replied that the vanity bases looked good. Then he requested we box the vanity pieces and place it in on shipping pallet so it could be picked up. We did that as well as an additional cost to us. Then he ghosted me. After repeated emails he finally replied that he could no longer honor his commitment to provide us with a refund. This is a scam organization, unprofessional and completely unresponsive. Do NOT do business with this company. I have every correspondence between myself and the VP of Sales which I will use as we form a case against KBA.

Bought a bathroom vanity. 20 degree weather had to check the vanity and top out of the box for damage and take it up the driveway myself. Didn’t check the handles. Big mistake. Three handles had black on the gold. Called them and because it was past 30 days tuff luck. I have to find the handles myself. The vanity was delivered Feb 16. Installed March 28. I will never purchase or recommend anything from them. Buy anywhere but there. If I would have purchased this from Home Depot I could have easily had it taken care of. Saving 50 bucks wasn’t worth it.

HORRIBLE COMPANY, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a toilet. It arrived broken. They sent a replacement. My plumber could not come out for a few days. When he arrived and opened the box, the replacement was broken as well. I called KB Authority and was told that because I didn't open the box within two days that they would not honor their product. They told me that my only option was to buy a new toilet and they would not replace or refund. Horrible, Horrible company.

I purchased a Hutch top and base through KBA. It was the worst experience I ever had. No communication from them on my order for about a month though my order was paid in full. 26 days later when I finally got answers they told me they couldn't get product I ordered. They then did the exact opposite of what I asked and credited my money back to the credit card which I already paid off because it had been a month since original transaction. Now I have to wait until the overpayment posts to call my credit card company to get a refund check sent from them. So my $ 2,667.47 was with KBA for almost a month now in limbo for additional time until I receive a refund. The worst staff as far as email and phone communication Not a very professional company in my opinion I personally will steer clear of doing business with them ever again. If I could have gave them 0 stars I would've

When ordering a $1100 shower system in early August 2020, I was informed that one piece would arrive the subsequent week. When the package arrived I was missing 4 more unexpected pieces including the trim. I was told this would come two weeks later now.
    Then another two weeks
    Then a month.
Now over 3 months later I am still waiting. I have been told tentatively i would receive these pieces in late December.

Their only solution: I cannot return anything and they will provide me with a different model that will force you buy further attachments.

I've asked numerous times to talk to managers along this journey and was actually told "they aren't going to tell you anything new"

I would avoid business with them at all costs.

    Don't Do It!

I ordered an item in July. When I placed the order there was no indication it would be delayed. After placing the order, I received a confirmation stating the order would ship when all parts were available. There was only one item in my order and all parts should have been together. This didn't make a lot of sense but I decided to give it some time as I really wanted the particular item.
I finally gave up on them 5 months later. They were still unable to fill my order. I requested a refund of my $189.00. They told me it would be issued. When I didn't receive the refund, I called them back and was assured it was processing. It has taken me multiple (7-10, I've lost track) calls over a period of more than 5 months to attempt to get a refund. Each time, I was assured It was processed, yet I never received the funds. I'm still working on it. What a waste of time!
Also, what a scam! I can only imagine how much money they make on this: take an order they can't fill and play dumb when the refund isn't issued. If people don't check their credit card statement and don't follow up on the supposedly issued refund, they keep the money! I would go elsewhere.

So disappointed with this company's handling of a broken bath tub. My contractor was running behind schedule, so when it came time to install the bathtub (an acrylic from Streamline) it was literally cleaved in half despite pristine outer packaging. I sent photos of the damage, but they said it was on me because it wasn't immediately reported. They didn't even contact the carrier that shipped the tub! They ignored my (polite) requests to speak with a manager too. I'll never buy anything from them again...

Ordered a range hood 9/4/24, or so I thought. They charged me about a grand and then sent me an email per their policy within 72 hours, but all it said was they charged me a grand! I already knew that! 9/12/24 we finally tracked them down to inquire about the order and they said they didn’t have it, it was back ordered until the end of the year, but they still charged my card? We requested a refund and they were happy to oblige, or so we thought, and ultimately disputed the credit charge since they dragged their feet on the refund as well. I didn’t want to pay interest on something they never could deliver. They never offered that it was not available but were happy to take my money anyway! Horrible company, buyer beware! Customer service is everything and they suck at it!

Verlissa and her team at Kitchen and Bath Authority in Wheaton, IL did an excellent job remodeling my master and guest bathrooms. This was a turn key project to replace the shower and vanity counter tops. The shower includes a custom made glass door. They also installed new vanity lighting, painted the walls. And replaced the flooring. From design to implementation to final touch uos, they did an outstanding job! I highly recommend Verlissa and her team!

Great service, accommodating and goes above and beyond. I have no complaints with all of my cabinetry and the designing. If you want good service from an honest company, this is it!

    July, 2019

In October 2018, we ordered master bathroom cabinetry from Kitchen and Bath Authority, Wheaton, Illinois. We were less than pleased with their products and customer service. KBA measured the room incorrectly, so several pieces of the cabinetry did not fit.

We had four different professional bathroom designers out to our home to see if any of them could work with the incorrectly measured cabinetry we purchased from KBA. We wanted to salvage as much of the order as possible due to the expense we had already incurred.

Unfortunately, none of the designers were able to effectively make use of any of the KBA cabinetry. We have now found ourselves with a garage full of unusable cabinets and had to start over by ordering all new cabinetry from a different remodeling company.

On April 24, 2019, KBA promised a partial monetary refund for the incorrectly measured cabinetry. To date, we have not received the full refund amount we were promised by KBA.

Lots of wasted time, money and materials.

Verlissa helped make our vision come to fruition in finishing an area in our basement into a little kitchenette (wet bar/popcorn bar). We are so happy! We helped tell her the things we wanted (fridge/freezer, microwave) as well as other little goals and she was able to transfer all of that into the design. She even presented several beneficial suggestions, which I loved in regards to the under cabinet lighting, placement of appliances, and the types of one-touch motorized and slow closing cabinets. She was able to fully maximize the space we have and everything looks great! Thanks so much Verlissa!!

Verlissa was wonderful to work with! Not only was she was very helpful in picking out a bathroom vanity, she went out of her way, on off hours, to change how the vanity was delivered. This enabled us to get it a few days early to meet a deadline. I highly recommend working with her!
