We called Borter to replace our 26-year-old HVAC. They confirmed the need to replace the HVAC and provided an estimate. Their service manger Mike Novak was very professional and explained the entire process. The installers were very prompt and professional explained each step of the install. The team was sensitive to our needs and did an excellent job.

Have used this service since we have had our home built. They do fall heater check up and spring ac check up on our two units. They are clean and neat, pick up after themselves. Highly recommend them. We continue to renew our check up contract with them annually. Its a great deal and a way to avoid issues.

Joe did a routine furnace check up this morning. He gave us a 15-minute warning he was coming and arrived on time. He was friendly, professional, and kind. Also very knowledgeable too. 5/5 stars. Excellent company.

I put in a service request on a Saturday night. My AC wasn't kicking on. I let them know it wasn't an emergency, we were in a cool spell. I was notified that they could set an appointment for Monday between 9am and noon. Perfect. Monday rolled around and they called to confirm and offered to send someone out earlier. By 8:30 the tech was ringing my doorbell, ID displayed, name on work shirt and Borter's logo on the van. He went right to work and within minutes he had found the issue on the outdoor unit. It replacing the controlling switch and turning the AC back on I heard everything kick on right away. John explained the failure, had me sign the ticket, explained that since I had the platinum service contract the call was covered completely and then took off. Very fast, very polite, and very efficient. I am very happy!

The personnel Nate (I hope I did not get the name wrong) that did the service is knowledgeable and friendly and very helpful. I am glad that Borter can have asset like that. Definitely, I would recommend Borter service to friends.

Borter and the tech, Andy, have been great to work with. They’ve addressed our questions and always rush to fix things under our plan. We use their yearly maintenance plan for furnace and A/C. Andy even went above and beyond and helped us with a duct issue.

Our AC stopped blowing cold this weekend. I called Borter's on a Sunday night to leave a message, and I had a call back first thing Monday morning. The repairman showed up on time later that morning. He was friendly, he communicated clearly about the problem, and he worked quickly. It turned out to be a bad capacitor, which he explained is a common problem and an easy fix. While he was working, he noticed that the previous owners of the house had had some parts replaced on the AC as well, and he pointed those out to me. I thought this was useful info, and I appreciated that he shared it. He pitched me a couple follow-up services (annual maintenance plan; free quote for a new unit if we ever want to replace it), but I didn't think he was sleazy about it.

Less than 24 hours from a phone call to the AC working like new. I can't speak to the price because this is the first time I've bought AC repair, but the customer experience was excellent.

These guys are great: Friendly, polite, clean, and most importantly, uber competent. I trust them implicitly to do what's right and best. Four guys for first two days and one guy for the third day to remove and replace our boiler. Pricey, but based on the level of effort, worth it.

The Borter techs were highly professional and courteous and did a great job both installing new equipment and performing regular maintenance on my existing furnaces and radiant flooring system.

The Borter team was professional, clean, and did a number of custom fabrications to accommodate my house as part of the quoted price. They ran extended electrical and did some custom outflow metal work to ensure it worked properly.

From the very first phone call, I was impressed. The person in the office was personable, polite, and professional—friendly yet clearly efficient.

The technician who came to my home was just as impressive. He performed a full-service inspection, including cleaning the interior of my air conditioner and checking both my heating unit and humidifier.

What stood out most was his communication. He clearly explained everything he planned to do, then spent over an hour completing the work. Afterward, he gave me a detailed recap and helpful recommendations for keeping my system running smoothly.

For me, finding a reliable and professional service company like Borter’s Heating and Air Conditioning truly feels like striking gold.

Did a good job but 800 just for labor was a bit much, if I wasn't freezing in my house and I was able to get the parts myself within a day I would've done it myself. Good work but pretty steep free for 30 min of work

On Tuesday Trevor came to install an Aprilaire whole house humidifier. Spent about 5 hours. Went above & beyond. Went back to the shop for a piece of sheet metal to make for a better installation. Replaced some of the existing wires. Also replaced a water valve from the hot water tank. Explained how to use the system. Could not be happier with his work & professionalism.
