Constraction reviews in Avon, Indiana

Felt like I was pulling nails to get even a quote for a deck replacement. Allison is basically a gatekeeper that doesn't want to do business with you. After about 4 emails back and forth, you will be ghosted. Chuck, get a new administrator.

Edit: I didn't say Allison wasn't prompt in the replies. After our last email, asking for the price of my deck, I have received nothing. Which is where this review comes from. You could do great work but I wouldn't know since I still haven't gotten a quote.

We used Chuck Construction to build a deck that fit our needs. Chuck was very helpful during the estimate process. He assisted us with our ideas by letting us know what was possible and what he could do. The price was very fair. Chuck and Allison were great with the communication leading up to the final day of construction. The team that Chuck has were very detailed in their work and even during the crazy high temps worked hard to finish in two days. Chuck was onsite a lot helping and answering any of our questions. He lead us through the entire build to cleanup. He Ben came back when it was done to touch up the yard area with soil and seed. We even discussed future projects. I would recommend Chuck Construction to anyone looking for a great company who cares about their product and ensures the customer is happy. Thanks again to Chuck and his entire team.

I reached out to three deck construction companies and Chuck was the first and only one to respond. He was at our home within a day to look it over and get a quote together. I liked Chuck right away. I could tell he was going to do it right and make our home look exceptional. I was right! Do not look anywhere else in getting deck work done. His crew came in and knocked it out in 3.5 days. Needless to say we are thrilled at what is now the talk of the neighborhood deck wise. We're having Chucks Construction put on a new roof next summer as well. When you work with great people, you get great results. Thanks, Chuck!

Chuck exceeded all expectations with his quality work. The level of customer service Chuck and his crew delivered was above and beyond. We are so happy with our new deck and pergola and would HIGHLY recommend him.

If you are looking for quality work at a reasonable price then look no further than Chuck’s Construction Co. We spent a lot of time speaking with several contractors and Chuck stood out far and above the others. He is professional and extremely talented at his trade. The deck that Chuck built for us has far exceeded our expectations and continues to get compliments from friends, family and neighbors. If you want quality construction done right then make a wise investment with your money and contract with Chuck’s Construction Co.

I highly recommend Chucks Construction. They have incredible attention to detail and addressed every question I had. I have used them once before and used them again because of the high-quality work they did on the first job.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I felt it important to write this one. Chuck’s Construction recently completed a deck for us and I can honestly say I was speechless when I saw the finished product. It was beyond anything I could have ever imagined a deck could be. Chuck took our basic (and I mean very basic) idea for a deck and turn it into the most beautiful deck I have ever seen…. even neighbors we hadn’t met were coming by to see it. He and his crew arrived early each day and stayed until the end of the work day. They cleaned up every day so there was never debris left in our yard. He and his crew are professional, ethical and extremely hard working and I would highly recommend Chuck’s Construction!!! Thank you Chuck and crew for what you have given our family!

Chuck's Construction was very easy to work with, very prompt with communication, and did an amazing job in building our deck. This is one of many he has done in our neighborhood and everyone who has used him raves about the work. Now I know why. Very happy with the work, the quality, and the people!

We hired Chuck's Construction to replace our existing deck with a 600 square foot Trex deck. Chuck and his crew did an outstanding job from start to finish. We are extremely happy with our new deck and will recommend Chuck's Construction to our family and friends in the Indianapolis area.

The finished deck looks amazing. The crew was on time, didn't mind me asking questions. They worked around all the issues of my really old L shaped house where the previous deck and siding sloped by more than a few inches. When they finished my walk around the deck to point out flaws found nothing wrong.

Chuck and his crew are the best! Not only is he a professional at his job but very personable and you can tell he loves what he does in his work. He installed a huge porch on the back of my house and I couldn't be more thrilled with it. It opened our backyard up and he was open to all my suggestions and gave me great quality work for a great price. I would also like to say his crew knocked out my project and cleaned the whole area with about 10 hours which is phenomenal. My Trex deck is amazing! Thank you guys so much! I would also like to include that if anyone gives negative feedback about response time just remember it's a small operation and he's booked out 3 or more months in advance because of his level of expertise and quality. He will get back to you in a timely manner trust the process.

We had a porch put on by Chuck's construction company and we were very happy with the results. Chuck's employees were very professional and courteous during the building of the porch. They tried to accommodate us in every request we made. My wife and I feel very fortunate we were able to get Chuck to do the work. The workmanship was absolutely awesome. We have already had great reviews from our neighbors of how nice it looks. I would certainly recommend anyone wanting a deck or porch built to give Chuck a call. His team is excellent.

We added a screened in porch done by Chuck’s Construction. The service was excellent. The design was perfect. We love it and it looks like it was always on the house.

I can't say enough positive things about the work Chuck and his crew did for us. The deck he built has added a ton of value to our home and will certainly outlast our stay here.

We had an existing deck with a pergola, wood fireplace, and a hot tub built in. We were getting rid of the hot tub to make more room on the deck and expand the deck with Trex and a cedar wall. Chuck's estimate was extremely competitive compared to the bigger guys and some general contractors I spoke with.

The prices I was quoted were the prices we paid. Every project unearths some hiccups along the way. Zero nickel and diming going on.

The crew obviously were experts, the speed with which that old deck came down and the deliberate order of operations they used to install the Trex system was impressive. There is a reason these guys are certified by Trex to install their product. I have a hard time believing too many other companies are better. Some of the deck companies rely on their image and location in Carmel to sell prestige. Having seen Chuck's crew's work there is no way that product is worth nearly double.

I would recommend Chuck to my grandmother if she needed a deck with zero reservation. If you're reading this you better just hope Chuck can get you on the schedule.

Chuck's Construction recently installed a new deck on our home. Chuck himself did a through job of explaining what work would be done and the timeline. The workers were on task the whole time and finished the deck in two days. They were also very friendly and cleaned up very well. I would highly reccomend this company.

Chuck and his team were excellent. Chuck explained the project very well and provided recommendations based on his experience which was extremely helpful. He was also very honest about everything, which I value greatly! Chuck also provided a last minute suggestion regarding the screen on our porch. His team was able to work that into the project and we are very glad we took advantage of it, the new screen is vey nice. The crew is hard working, very professional and the deck looks fantastic! I highly recommend Chuck, Allison and his team for your project.

Chuck’s Construction was very professional and efficient. Quality was outstanding and they were easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Love the work Chuck's Construction did. Replaced old wooden deck with Trex decking in a day and a half! Chuck and the team were friendly and professional. Highly recommend!!!!

Very happy with our new deck! Chuck and his team worked efficiently and skillfully, executing on all the requests. They also had expert suggestions that made the process easy and outcome awesome. Covid and work volume created a wait, but it was worth it!

We are so happy with our covered porch and deck!
Thank you Chuck for building me something that I’ve been wanting for years! It’s built solid!
I can’t wait until Spring to just sit under it and enjoy my coffee in the morning. We have spoke to a few different contractors that were just ridiculous to even get estimates from or showed me pictures of things I didn’t like and didn’t care about what we wanted.
Chuck was easy to work with and built me exactly what i wanted and more. His guys are all very hard working people who take pride in their work.
I had a painter who stayed until 8pm to finish the job and was happy to be working!
Thank you Chuck for building us our dream porch and deck!

Chuck and his team did a fantastic job with my back deck replacement. They ensured high quality of the materials and work they delivered and I love to sit outside and just enjoy this new space.
