Constraction reviews in Avon, Indiana

We chose Chuck’s Construction Co. to completely tear down our existing, rotten deck and it was the best decision we made. From our first meeting to the last lightbulb, Chuck’s Construction went above and beyond. The crew was phenomenal; so courteous and polite. The only thing that slowed them down was the weather (rain and snow). Craftsmanship is top-notch. The two-tone effect was spot on. They took a rotten, ugly, unsafe deck and made it a place where our family can spend time. They deserve 10 stars, but there is only room for 5. They are excellent! I would refer Chuck’s Construction to everyone! Thank you Chuck and crew!!!!

10/10 definitely recommend! Chuck and his team were amazing. He showed up on time for the quote and day of work. I had to make a last minute change to my stairs configuration due to MY poor measuring skills, and he was so accommodating to help me figure out a new plan. The deck looks great and I can’t wait to use it!

Negative Review because a company vehicle operator was not careful when opening their door and damaged my fiberglass door. Will need to have fixed and likely cost hundreds.

EDIT
This happened Today (12/17) on N Avon Ave and Rockville RD around 11-12. It was a White Truck a 3/4 Ford I believe. I just replaced my doors as of 3 days ago and having them already get damaged is very disappointing (they haven’t even been color matched yet). I didn’t reach out and make a bigger situation out of it because most people don’t want to take accountability out-of-pocket.. My vehicle is a sports car and I’m an individual in my 20’s, that means my insurance premium is naturally elevated, if I had filed a claim it wouldn’t have been worth risking my premium to further increase costing me much more in the long run. However I wanted to bring it to attention because this was inconsiderate and unprofessional.

I just had my 25 year old deck replaced by Chuck and his crew with Trex. The new deck is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I envisioned. The crew was outstanding and showed an attention to detail. I will definitely be enjoying the deck for years to come. Thanks Chuck!

I just had a new deck built. I need to compliment/recommend Chuck's Contruction Company, out of Avon. It was a 12x24 deck that was installed in 2 days, using Trex materials. I'm very pleased with the deck and could not have asked for better service from Chuck. I highly recommend his company if you are looking to have a new deck built.

I can't say enough great things about this company. It's extremely rare to find a company who checks every box in customer satisfaction. The quality of product is beyond expectation, the crew is professional and highly skilled, the price is very fair, the speed of work is excellent, the communication is great, and the owners, Chuck and Allison Javit, are all around great people who run a highly professional construction company. Highly recommend. 5 stars!

So happy with the work Chuck’s Construction did on our deck! From our first meeting with him until the deck was finished, Chuck and his team were great! He responded quickly to any questions we had. The crew installing the deck paid attention to detail.
I will definitely be recommending him and using him for any future needs.

This summer Chuck and his crew tore out our old, weathered wood deck and replaced it with a custom, larger BEAUTIFUL Trex Deck and Staircase; along with tearing out kitchen windows and replacing them with Anderson Gliding Doors, allowing us to go directly from our kitchen to the new grilling area right outside those doors on our extended new deck. They worked with us on what we were looking for and built in a custom working table next to our grill and behind that placed large Trex panels for privacy on that wall of deck. The end result is just stunning. We couldn't be happier with the professionalism and efficiency with which Chuck and his crew worked. Trex took a while to get the product in, which was happening all over the country, so we ended up having to wait much longer than anticipated to finally get the project done. And while that was aggravating, it really was worth the wait. We highly recommend Chuck for any deck or construction project.

We hired Chuck to frame up a portion of our existing deck, move our stairs and replace the existing painted wood deck and railing with Trex Island Mist decking and black aluminum railing. Chuck was responsive to our initial call for a quote, was prompt in providing the quote and was always prompt in response to emails and requests on the status of the delivery of materials. Chuck and team completed the job a few weeks ago and the work was done well and very quickly. We are very happy with our new deck. Below are a few before and after pictures!

Chuck, his employees and his plumber and electrician did a superb job on finishing the basement in our new home in only 5 weeks. He added about 1800 sq ft of finished space including a rec room with wet bar, exercise room, 2 bedrooms and a full bath. The bathroom with a full tiled shower looks insanely great and we get rave reviews from everyone who has seen it. I cannot say enough good things about Chuck and would heartily recommend him to anyone needing a basement finished. He will also be back in a couple of months to build my new deck!

I decided to use Chuck's construction for my attic remodel project as he was recommended to me by a good friend of mine. Chuck gave me a very competitive bid and did a very good job. His crew was on time, diligent and kept things clean. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of work and highly recommended him.

Chuck and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. They took our visions and turned them into a reality. Chuck did an excellent job of communicating and providing us recommendations along the way. We would not hesitate recommending Chuck and his team to anybody!

Chuck & company were great to work with. They replaced and updated my 35+- year old deck. Photos below show before and after. No hassles, on time, quality workmanship. They even worked in the snow!! Chuck is down to earth and immediately someone you know you can trust. He sincerely wants to make sure his clients are satisfied and he delivers. He suggested cost savings, like retaining the skeleton of my old deck, with explanations as to why, that other contractors did not. I will not hesitate to recommend or call again when I need additional work done. I am so happy I called Chuck's Construction!

The owner Chuck met with us personally and helped us decide upon which TREX composite materials would best match our needs for redecking. His crew worked very hard everyday and managed to finish our project as promised before our big total solar eclipse party. We are very satisfied with the work done. The owner Chuck is very personable and responds quickly to any of our questions via text. Overall we are very pleased with our new deck and would highly recommend Chuck and his crew.

Chuck’s Construction Co. just finished replacing our old deck. The project was somewhat technical as the deck is over our garage and has a staircase on the outside of the garage. The crew did a quick and efficient tear off, followed by a careful and exacting installation. Even though the weather was extremely warm, the crew remained cheerful and professional throughout the project. The finished deck looks great and we were very pleased!! We would recommend Chuck’sConstruction Company.

Chuck's team did a phenomenal job with my two-story deck!! I'm absolutely blown away by the finished product. The deck is very sturdy and now gives us access to our side yard so that my kids can quickly access their trampoline. The work crew was fantastic and the timeline was earlier than what was originally promised. My wife and I ended up getting 9-10 quotes before we decided on Chuck's Construction, so we definitely did our homework! Looking back, we would hire Chuck's Construction again in a heartbeat! Chuck is also very laid back, reasonable, and easy to work with. His personality made the process much smoother!

Daniel was very responsive, on time and did a great job from start to finish. I even asked him questions via text after the project was finished and he answered my questions very promptly.

The seller of the house I bought used Bob's to make several repairs. The Seller paid Bob's for several items to be corrected. Bob took the money, but did not do all of the repairs. Eventually the seller had to bring in another contractor to finish up everything. I would avoid using this contractor and do not prepay at all if using them.

Bob's Contruction is my go-to for all of my real-estate clients and personally. They are professional, timely, and experts in everything from roofing, crawl spaces, and general maintenance. Highly recommend.

I had new flooring installed and we love it. Rick and the employees that completed the task were courteous and on time. Same employees installed a new sump pump. All work was completed on time at a fair price.

Bob’s Construction have completed multiple projects for both of our homes including bathroom remodeling projects, a new roof and a major renovation. They do great work and I would recommend them for any home project.
