I am an older lady that has mobility issues and moved to a new home closer to my family for care. I needed a walk in shower immediately. Bob’s Construction was able to provide a free quote, get the work started and completed in a timely manner. I would recommend Bob’s company very highly.

I’ve been so flabbergasted with Bob’s Construction that I waited a few days before writing this review to ensure I’m calm and can accurately report the facts.
We are looking to add a room above our garage. We talked to Bob at the Indy home show and were excited to get a quote. His representative came to our house on Feb 3 to look at the project. He drew up a contract on the spot, signed it, and gave us a copy. My husband and I already had another estimate for the project - which was higher than Bob’s estimate but within reason (so there was no reason to believe they had made a gross error). On Friday, Feb 6, we decided to go with Bob’s Construction and called Bob to let him know. Bob, his representative, and my husband were on a call together and we signed the contract and sent it to them.
We were happy to get started! On Feb 8th, we released the other bidder so they could finalize their work schedule.
My husband met with Bob and his representative next on Monday Feb 16th for what we thought, was the start of the project. Bob showed up 45 minutes late to that appointment and then said that his company could not do it for the money that was agreed to in the signed contract. In fact, Bob said the project was going to be 40% more than the contracted amount. My husband was extremely frustrated and said no.
This appeared to be an attempt to renegotiate a signed contract after we had already released other bidders.
I sent a message to Bob on Wednesday, Feb 18th, asking to have a conversation before I made any reports or reviews. I was hoping we could come to an agreement. During that call, Bob said that the lowest he could go was 32% over the agreed amount. When I said that was not acceptable, Bob’s response was to inquire about our places of employment. He explicitly stated his intent to contact our employers to 'see if we had made mistakes' in our own professional lives to 'make us look bad.' He justified this by saying, 'if you are going to embarrass me and make me look bad, then it goes both ways.' He further referenced our children and parents, stating, 'we all make mistakes—you, your husband, your children, and your mom and dad.'
This shift from a business dispute over a contract to personal threats against our livelihoods and family is beyond unprofessional. This experience serves as a clear warning of how this company handles business conflicts and their own mistakes.

Jackie was the lead on my project and quoted me the price I needed on a very tight budget. He put together a team that showed up on time and got the two roofs ( house and garage) done. I had a couple of side issues they helped me with as well including doors etc. I would highly recommend Bob’s construction citing price, communication, friendly attitude and results! paul b

I am purchasing a home and needed a spot tested where there was some discoloration on the garage wall. Scott and his team set up an appointment on Saturday and were out to the home Monday morning. And I received the report with a summary written by Scott two days later. The service was great!

American Mold Experts were professional, courteous and lived up to their name as Mold Experts. They were responsible for mitigating and remediating mycotoxins and black mold that we found in our house. They coordinated multiple vendors that were needed to resolve the issues in our house. Showed up on time and worked hard taking only one break even though the temperature was over 84 degrees and no ventilation, very satisfied with the results and the owner was very helpful in educating me no how to prevent this from happening again.

I am so thankful for American Mold Experts, in particular the kindness and knowledge of Jacob. We Recently had to use our warranty (which most companies don’t provide) and it saved us probably thousands of dollars.
But what doesn’t have a price is peace of mind. I have learned so much talking with Jacob in the numerous times he had to make a visit to our house- and I am really hoping he will write a book about mold for householders- there is so much basic mold knowledge that I never had before and it helps me feel less helpless about mold problems. I had been sick for about 10 years. I felt like I had the flu, headaches, body aches, fatigue, nausea, etc. No doctor was helping me, so I decided to see a functional medicine doctor. After a lot of blood work she told me I had something called Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS). I had never heard of it and was very skeptical. Fast forward to today. We found out that we had a few spots in our home that had mold and we didn't know. Our dishwasher had an unknowing leak and mold was growing under our hardwood. AME recommended a contractor that knew about mold (not all of them do). He helped get rid of the major water intrusions/mold and AME came and remediated. This is the first time in 10 years that I don't wake up feeling like I have the flu and go to bed feeling the same. I never gave up hope that I would find why I was so sick, but with the help of my doctor and AME I feel normal again. I know many with CIRS that walk away from everything! Working with AME allowed us to keep all of our belongings and stay in our home. I will forever be thankful!!! In addition they were always available for questions! I highly recommend this company.

I do not recommend American Mold Experts. One of their sales employees was very pushy and asked to see our homeowners insurance policy before quoting the job. In my estimation, he wanted to see how much our insurance would pay before giving us a quote. We believe that an employee from the lab AME selected to process the testing materials (Enzcycle) stole cash from my child's room. AME reimbursed us for this amount that they say was "allegedly stolen" because no criminal charges were filed despite a police investigation. The employee in question no longer works for Enzcycle. AME hired an attorney to encourage me to alter an online review I wrote. I find this upsetting.

American Mold Experts did a top-notch job from start to finish! I knew that I had ongoing mold problems in my house that were negatively impacting my health and the team came out, inspected the house, identified the problem areas, and educated me on the remediation process. Once I was ready to get started, they came out on the scheduled day, on time, ready to get to work. The team did a pre-work walk-thru with me to show me areas of concern and how they were going to treat the area. When I returned to the home after the remediation work, we did a walk-thru again and the team showed me exactly what they did. Thankfully, the post-treatment inspection showed that ALL previously moldy areas were now CLEAR! Because the home is now clear of mold and mycotoxins, I can now start some much-needed medical treatment. AME made it very easy to understand what was being done to my home and why and the successful results speak for themselves! I'd recommend highly to anyone needing a guaranteed, warrantied mold and mycotoxin remediation!
