Just had my roof put on this morning by an extraordinary crew of men. Very professional and worked very hard to make sure nothing was damaged around my home. Tim the owner and Tim my salesman were both on site. What a great company and the roof looks beautiful! Recommended to my neighbor and her roof is going up soon! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I found Thomas Jefferson Roofing through the Rain Drop Gutter Guards folks as one of their authorized installers in Central Indiana. I had been attempting to get my improperly installed (by another, now defunct company) gutters fixed or even replaced as well as have gutter guards installed for almost 2 full years. Apparently all of the gutter companies I could find locally have so much business they don't want any more. They either didn't bother to return calls, didn't show up for appointments, told me what I needed wasn't possible, or in one case actually gave a bid then failed to schedule the job or answer calls. When I contacted Thomas Jefferson there was none of the hedging and games I had become accustomed to. They gave me a straightforward bid and then did what no one else had done, they actually delivered the service they promised. Granted there were hiccups due to the pandemic but they figured it out and got the job done. I was impressed by not only the quality of the work but also the professionalism of the crew they sent out. Start to finish I would enthusiastically recommend Thomas Jefferson to any friends and family in need of a service they provide, in fact I already have. Kudos!

As an administrative professional, I have interactions with many vendors for a variety of projects. Thomas Jefferson Roofing is superior. Their communication skills are unmatched. Such a refreshing change not to have to hunt down every detail or progress report. They provided us an option that saved us a LOT of money compared to other vendors. The work is well done. I highly recommend them if you are in need of roof repair.

Thomas Jefferson and his team did a number of projects for us. The first time was after a hail damage about years ago. They helped us with assessing the damage and gave us outstanding advice on how to deal with the insurance. The actual roofing work was well done and even though it's a 2000 sqft roof which had three layers of old shingles, they managed to get the job done within one day. Since then, we didn't have any issues with the roof, but we engaged Jefferson roofing again a couple of times for repairs in our home. The last time was when we recently needed to sell the home. We had a number of repairs and improvements that had to be completed on a tight timeframe. We were very thankful to Jefferson as he was very proactive and took well care of everything. Last not least I should also mention that his rates were always very reasonable, especially considering the quality of his service.

I used this company twice, first time to fix the roof and the second to install a new one. I appreciate that they didn’t say that the roof was in horrible shape and needed to be replaced immediately, like other companies that lie to you to get you to pay them as much money as possible. I want to thank each and every person, from the sweet lady on the phone to all the roofers that came in and installed the roof, for their great service and wonderful job. I can’t be more satisfied with this company and the results.

They did a great job repairing our slate roof. Work was completed well and in a timely manner. Quote was fair. They were prompt and communicated well. Would hire again!

Second Update: A representative called me back, and they came out to re-repair the work. Communication throughout most of the process was difficult, and as you can see from my reviews it’s been a hassle, but it would appear they genuinely care about completing their work effectively and leaving their customers satisfied.

UPDATE: The leak soon came back. When I tried to contact the company to come back out, one of their associates stopped by to evaluate the issue. I sent him an email with pictures of the issue and other details, and never heard from him again. Sent him a few texts to follow up as well and he had already ghosted me at that point. So to summarize, the company didn’t actually fix the problem and then ignored me after they had completed their ineffective work.

Price was fair. They came out to fix a leak based on their “assessment”, yet after the work was done it remained to leak. They came out again and found the real cause of the leak, but I was still stuck with two invoices, one of which had nothing to do with a leak. The manager did give me a discount on the first one however.

We have used Thomas Jefferson Roofing and Remodeling twice in the last two months. The first time, they repaired a damaged area just under the roof where birds have been nesting and a hole to the attic was formed. They did a thorough and professional job! The second time they removed and replaced siding on the front of our home that was rotting. When they removed the troubled wood, they found more damage. The worked diligently to get to the root of the problem, communicated regularly and repaired the problem very nicely. The new siding looks great! They were very nice, timely and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

The positive - I greatly appreciated that this company was willing to work with me on short notice, as the date of completion for a new roof needed to be done by a certain date for insurance money. They completed the roof on time, at a (seemingly) fair price, and threw in the combing out of the A/C unit, which had some hail damage. The roofing specialist we worked with was knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to come out on short notice on a Saturday (while with his son) to get up on the roof to figure out an answer to an insurance question. The negative - I asked our roofing specialist during discussion of payment if the company offers a payment plan. He said they do NOT and that they require half of the full cost up front before completion of job, with the remainder to be paid in full within a week or two of completion. I discovered, while paying the second half of my bill online, that they DO offer financing/payment plan through a 3rd party company. I asked my rep about this - he said he doesn't advise people on this option because of the 3rd party costs they have to pass along, as well as the interest rates for a long term plan. I was told by another company rep that they offer short term 0% financing plans as well... I didn't appreciate being told they do not offer financing when they do. Maybe our rep wasn't as familiar with the financing process, but he also wasn't willing to direct us to someone that could give us information about it. We may have decided to go ahead and pay in full anyway, but we did not get the chance to consider all of our options.

My experience with Thomas Jefferson roofing was exceptional. They were extremely communicative and easy to work with through the entire process. We worked with Eddie, very professional, honest, and nice! My biggest frustration is when a company charges you for something that doesn’t really need to be done, and in this case it was the opposite. My husband and I were positive certain things were wrong (that would have been very costly $$$), and Eddie actually said there was no need because it was in fine condition. Highly highly recommend this company for any roofing issues . We will definitely be using them going forward!

I was fortunate enough to learn of this company when I needed help with my roof. The sales person Tim Draper was very professional , and helpful with the process of obtaining a new roof. I like the fact that he was there during the work too, to see that things were going as they should, The workmanship of the new roof was amazing!! When they finished the roof , you could not tell they had been there, they cleaned up so well, and all you could do was stand back and see the fantastic well done job they had done. I also had some painting done, and let me tell you, the quality of work, was more than I expected, and so appreciated. Thank you Thomas Jefferson Roofing, for a while done job, and Tim Draper , for all your help.

Tim came out quickly to give a fair estimate. I was selling my house and needed to replace the attic fan per the inspection. He came out Tuesday and guaranteed he'd have it replaced by 5 days after we signed a contract. They came out that Friday! Everyone was so nice. The roofer was polite and worked hard. I would highly recommend.

I needed our 24 year old shed roof replaced--a small job, and one that I would not have expected to have much priority to a roofing company. But Scott showed up exactly on time to measure, photograph and estimate the job. He made several good recommendations that would improve the structure compared to the original roofing--none of which were expensive add-ons. After reviewing the quote and agreeing to a price, the job should be completed in the next 3 weeks using one of their in-house crews. I'll update this after the job is complete, but every indication from my experience so far is that everything will go smoothly and to my satisfaction.

I started with a quote in 2020 for a home insurance claim and they were able to get out and work with my schedule. I had to save up some money in order to do the repairs and then covid hit and then I moved about but we kept in touch and they were very helpful with what they did and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for roof repair.

Did a nice job on my chimney repair. They were very polite and quick. Time from quote to completion was a week. Could not ask for more.

First off to be 100% transparent, my son worked for the about 6 months (he has been gone about a year). So this is a two-fold review.
Behind the scenes Thomas Jefferson cares about their clients. My son worked for a few different contractors in his life and he was impressed on how they stood behind their work and took care of the customer.
Then about 8 months ago they did our church. They were awesome. 12x12 pitch and pretty large. They did the entire job and actually did some extras.

We are very impressed with Thomas Jefferson Roofing.
