Workers are super rude😞

The people here are pretty nice.

They did have a nice selection.

Great service and the best selection of trees I have seen in Fort Wayne.

Called for information and pricing and was told oak trees not native to Indiana and when I questioned why he thought that I was told "we are not for you." Happy to take my business elsewhere.

The owner is a great guy. He cares that his team does a great job. They came out and worked hard and adjusted a bit removing a low standing water spot.
All the work was done at a reasonable cost.

Absolutely horrendous! Not professional AT ALL and RUDE! They have no integrity/pride in their work and will not make right the horrible rock garden that was created, rather than the lawn that was supposed to be established. DO NOT USE for installation of a lawn, maybe use them for landscaping, but then you would have to deal with the people. Blame game without honor of work and looking at what was done in the field, should not be a thing.

Don’t buy into their hype about their “specially blended grass seed” or their “custom shredded mulch”. Both are garbage. I’ve never had a newly seeded yard come in as weed filled as this one did. I watered properly and when it was time, I used Lesco brand fertilizer and weed and feed. I am still battling nutsedge and the yard is still thin. And the mulch isn’t even a year old (will be in August) and it already faded from brown to basically white. I raked all of it out thin and covered it with quality mulch from Lowe’s. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else.

Purchased a sweet gum tree last fall at an end-of-season discounted price. Employee took time to show me around and discuss my yard and budget. Planted well and on schedule. Budding out beautifully this spring. Very happy! Great value!

Patton was scheduled to put in our lawn. However they didn't show up the first week they were supposed to. They didn't show up the second week they were supposed. On the third week they decided they didn't want the job, presumably because I was upset they had not started at either time they had said they would.

The owner was unprofessional through the process, at times downright rude and awful. He was completely undependable and did not communicate any issues or bother to show up to complete the job.

The experience was completely unpleasant. Do not use them for any price.

I’ve received outstanding care from Patton Landscaping. The grass seed they planted was far superior to another section seeded by another lawn guy. The trees and bushes they planted look great! They have been kind and helpful at every turn. I’m sorry to see some negative reviews since my experience has been so stellar.

Once eas a compassionate caring business man. Over the years grumpy old men the movie pops in my head. Work was beautiful. Cared about his customers opinions from what I been hearing and reading. Bout the same business man he was. Now it's all about the buck

I got three tree from this company, one in May and two in October 2024. We went on vacation for two weeks and we not able to water our trees. When we got home two of our trees were sunscorched and in shock. I called asking to see what I needed to do the help the trees. The grumpy old man belittled me and kept calling me a lair. He didn't believe his company planted my trees. I sent him my receipt of purchase. When I corrected him for calling me a lair, he got mouthy and hung up on me. Terrible way to do business by calling your customers lairs and hanging up on them. If that's the treatment you want go ahead and call this company, I know I won't be using them or recommend them.

Poorly installed flagstone patio (March,202) was acknowledged by owner who, after insisting it was our fault(?), finally admitted to installation errors late last May and agreed to remove and correctly reinstall the product...we got the same story again in June...then July...and August...and September...and it's now mid-October, and the moss is growing nicely through the poorly and/or unsealed surfaces between the stones.

If you're expecting even reasonable customer service from your landscaper, you'd do well to take your business elsewhere.

We had $4,000 worth of drainage tile placed by Patton landscape. We then had issues with our sump pump running nonstop and high electric bills. This was our first basement and felt like something wasn’t right. When the ground froze this year it became VERY apparent that our drainage was not done properly. After the ground thawed and we were able to come up with the funds to handle this appropriately (I am recovering from cancer treatment). We had two professional companies out today who confirmed that the work was shockingly bad, not even close to being done correctly, and at a high cost. We felt necessary to call and present the problem very calm and matter of fact to Rick the owner, hoping he would honor his work. When explaining that the tile was completely under water (from not draining), tile going uphill in some places, ending in our yard versus the pond, and other areas draining up against our basement wall, they didn’t even take it away from the house!! Rick Patton became very argumentative, insulting, angry and hung up on us. It was completely unnecessary. We will be handling this matter appropriately because we will be thousands of dollars in losses and lots of headache dealing with this on top of everything else thrown at us this year. Patton landscape does poor workmanship and poor customer service. Rick the owner lacks integrity, can’t regulate his emotions, and clearly knows NOTHING about proper drainage to prevent flooding and foundation issues. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. He works for several builders, be aware! We have also made ours aware of our issues.

Arrived on time. Answered my questions about the specific tree being removed, as well as identifying several other trees on my yard (and one shrub). They cleaned everything up - as well as the sawdust that blew into my neighbors landscaping. They really enjoy what they do . I would highly recommend Barker’s Tree Service.
