Sunflower Lawn and Landscaping did a fantastic job trimming 3 large trees at my mom's. The crew was professional, the trees look great, and they cleaned everything up when they finished. Would definitely recommend them!!!!

We called Sunflower because we were worried about one tree near our house, and the employee who came to look at it helped us identify other trees that might lead to problems. In all, they removed six trees and did so in the timeline provided. The workers kept us appraised of the progress while they were here. Would recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely thrilled with my new front yard landscaping from Sunflower. I appreciated that Chris really listened to what I liked/disliked in terms of colors and plants and implemented that into his design. The end results are beautiful and above what I even expected for sure. I can't wait to really see it all flourish next summer!

After promising work to be done in three weeks they didn't show up after 4 weeks. I called and was promised work to be done the fifth week. Josh called on monday of fifth week and promised work to be done Thursday of fifth week. No show on Thursday or Friday. I cancelled the job and requested my deposit of $350 be returned. Called Josh on August 14 he said it was sent on the 7th of August. I. Never received it so he said he would send another check right away.
Today is August 27th. Still no refund. Seems like I have been lied to again. This has been going on since June 12th 2020.

We had a disappointing experience with Sunflower. We had a signed contract with them, payed in full, and not only did they not come on time, but subcontracted the project out to another company who then asked for more money. When we refused to pay more money, Sunflower broke the contract and refused to complete the job. It took repeated daily calls to even get our refund check.

I liked their service, but like always, I paid my bill online, but they kept on billing me. I tried to call them, but you can never get anyone to answer. I left several voice messages but no response. Then when they did my next application, I decided to mail the check, and I put a note in the envelope advising them I am no longer interested in their services. Well they cashed the check, sent me another bill with more charges on it because they still come to my house despite me letting them know in the letter I sent with the check that I no longer need the services. I have made more calls and no response. Am at the point of ready to report this business to BBB!!!

Was with another similar competitor for several years, but last year used Sunflower in connection with their tree trimming services. My lawn never looked better. This year, received lower rate from competitor to get me to come back, but even though Sunflower was a bit higher, stayed with them because of the quality of their services and of their personnel. The guys they send to do work are just the best and they care what you think. If you have any questions, talk to the owner, Chris, who is as responsive as they come. A whole different approach to lawn care!

Scheduled a tree to be taken down..They were here when said they would be. Workers were prompt and have a great work attitude and did a Great Job!! Highly recommend!!

I've done my own landscaping in the past and decided this year at our current home there was just to much for me to handle. We had a 3 different people out for a run down of what we wanted and Chris and I were on the same page from the start. They basically transformed our whole yard into something that I have been wanting for a long time. Any questions or concerns I had they were very responsive to them in a timely fashion. Honestly I couldn't be happier with the results. I would definitely recommend them to other people I know looking for landscaping. I am a pretty particular person when it comes to my yard, so by them making me happy I know they were good!!! Highly recommended!!

We just had Sunflower replace all of our overgrown rock beds in the front with mulch and new plants. Every one of the crew members were polite and greeted us with a smile. Being a hot day, we offered them some Gatorade and they were VERY appreciative and thanked us more than once!

After removing the rocks, the team reshaped our beds with clean edges and filled the space with mulch/new plants. We trusted them to pick out the plants and we couldn’t be happier!

Would recommend Sunflower for any landscape project!

Paid for flower bed installation with plants and small concrete slab for patio in April. I paid the 5k price, which was overpriced in my opinion, in full up front that day. I was told the project would be started mid May, they finally showed up the end of July. I called numerous times for updates, always having to leave a message. When they finally called me back I was told I was "next" or they would "be out next week" all of which was obviously a lie. After they finally show up 2 1/2 months late, the landscape work was not at all impressive. The agreed upon plants were "unavailable" and half of what they put in looks dead. I was expecting 6 plants, 4 of which were suppose to have color on them. Instead I got 4 plain green with no color and two flat yellow dead looking weeds. I should have and could have saved myself a lot of money and time by just doing it myself and it would've looked better. The concrete at least looks nice and correct but the machine they used destroyed my grass and they made no attempt to fill, replant, lay hay, or anything to repair the damage they caused. Overall EXTREMELY disappointed, wish they would give me a partial refund, would not recommend.

My neighbor hired this company to take down a tree on his property. The company had to use my yard to take down most of the tree. They left my yard a mess and moved our belongings accoss the yard and did not put them back. A large tree limb fell on our fence damaging it during their removal. The company did not clean up after themselves and just left without saying a word. I reached out to them several times and I was told they would be back to clean up and assess the damages done. It has now been two weeks and they have ignored my calls and have not returned my messages. I know how much my neighbor was charged for this service, you would think they would have better customer service for how much they charge.

They came to give me a quote & took my $1000 deposit . The job wuz suposd yo be done last wken end april i hav ben calling 10xa day for the last 2 wks & i cant get ahold of anyone.. would not reccommend this company at all

I have been having them treat my yard for awhile now. On some occasions I did call and cancel but the reason being that the gas company was tearing up my yard. Overall they do a good job the only thing that could be better is the communication between us. Payment options aren't to bad. Trying to call them though could also be better.

We called for having a tree cut down. Chris showed up and gave us an estimate the very next day. And because I was going to be out of town in a week, he squeezed us in that week. Very hard working crew. The tree was next to a pergola and our neighbor's fence was only 8-10' away. And the tree was over our goldfish pond. None the less they cut the tree and removed all the debris without hurting a thing. They cleaned up very well too.
Would definitely use them for our next tree project

Owner Chris started out very nice and ended up very mean. Our job was over $11,000 and everything was paid in full before the last step.HE NEVER FINISHED OUR JOB, leaving a critical part undone. When I called him about it, he told me to contact his lawyer & that I was being ridiculous asking him to come out and finish. It was a huge disappointment that he could go from kind to very unkind. There are way too many good landscapers out there to use this one!

The whole crew did an outstanding job. Lots of hard work cleaning up our yard. I am so very grateful. I was crying this am out of gratitude when I thanked and hugged the two young men who finished the work this morning!

They did great on our front landscaping. We also had them put in a drain to direct all rain water away out of our yard. That's was 2months ago they were to return to finish leveling the ground and laying grass seed down

They now want us to pay the second half but job not done!! Until it is no money!!! We were told employees quit. Not our fault. We will never use this place again!!!! BEWARE.

Prepaid for liquid aeration. Never once saw the tech in our camera treating the lawn. Only saw him bring the paperwork to the front door. Had to contact them 3 times to receive a call back. By this time I am even more frustrated. After letting out my frustrations to the owner he was rude and said he was going to cancel my service and not work with me. When you pay for a service you should receive it!! And customers shouldn’t have to leave multiple messages. But the owners reply was: well people have lives and they had employees on vacation. Well you also own a business & should not treat customers with that much attitude

They did amazing work! And they made it look easy. I am so happy that Sunflower was recommended to me. I will definitely use them again when needed! Thank you so much!

Chris & his crew were very professional & prompt getting the work done. They cleaned & cleared out debris in the tree line by our drive. Very happy with the end result. Would not hesitate to call them again.
