I’m new to the area and am so happy to have an honest and fair company like Hattersley . We were about to attempt to fix the toilet ourselves by ripping it out of the floor and are so happy we did not!! Hattersley not only fixed the problem without any invasive or damaging solutions but taught me exactly what to try in case we ever have a similar issue . They have a the heart of a teacher !

Mark has gone above & beyond for our family. We couldn’t be happier with the service provided & will be life-long customers because of it! Mark is friendly & has a lot of experience at his job. He has saved the day for us many times & we highly recommend him!

Mark came to repair a problem accidentally caused by a city worker. He was prompt, efficient and took the time to point out and explain some other issues he noticed that needed attention. I will most definitely have him back. What a great asset he is to Hattersley!

Driver training needed. Snow storm this afternoon and evening, 1.12.24, with poor road conditions. Driver of company van from I-69 to west bound on US 33 near Cook Road tailgates me and blocks and break checks me at light at Washington Center. Then proceeds to drive not wear the other tires have carved out but just slightly off to the right so that my car gets all this snow and slush hurled at it. Almost got ran of the road because of the careless driving. We all want to get home, safely.

Mark did an amazing job. Have always been pleased with his work! Communicates very well to make sure you understand the process and all that needed fixed or done! Couldn’t recommend a better person!

Amazing customer service!!! Mark H. was very professional and courteous and told me exactly was was going on all the way through the process. I also had a water softener installed in a very tight footprint and he was able to make it all work! Would recommend them again and again!

Mark was contacted to assess our damages and came out the very same day, although it wasn't even an emergency. He was polite, professional and very thorough on his assessment of damages. He repaired our problem and we were back in business the very next day!

After accidentally cutting through a 3/4” pipe, I called Hattersly and they responded within an hour to my request for a residential plumber. Mark came and repaired the pipe, and even assessed other plumbing issues in my house as a courtesy. Very friendly, timely, and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Going through a large remodel we have dealt with multiple contractors and subs--It has been a process finding ones that we trust and provide good work. Mark and everyone at A Hattersley have exceeded expectations at every turn. Not only are the professional, meet every deadline, have great communication but the quality of work is unmatched. My only regret is that they weren't the first plumbing company we called.

My husband and I had a tankless water heater installed by A Hattersley & Sons and our installers (Mark and Josh) did a wonderful and thorough job, he was also very pleasant and cared about our questions and any concerns we may of had. We used them before when we had our toilettes changed out and they did a wonderful job with them as well.....in fact we have them do our yearly maintenance checks. Great people!

Had Mark come and fix my heat pump. He had it figured out and back working in no time. I've had Mark work on stuff before when he was with other companies he worked for. He knows his stuff and works very hard at finding and fixing the problem and has a solution in no time. A Hattersley & Sons should be very thankful and proud to have such a great worker and person on their team! Highly recommended Mark for anything you have an issue with.

Called today with a sump pump issue and the problem was resolved the same day after hours with a new American made, which I appreciate, sump pump. The premium for overtime service was not exponential. Mark was very knowledgeable, personable, and seemingly efficient. Took time to explain the situation to me and how the new one work in an easily receivable manner. Should I have any other home issues come up, that they can handle under their umbrella of available services, I'll be calling them.

We recently installed a water softener that was not producing soft water right away. I was skeptical on which company to call but once I read the reviews on Hattersley I immediately called. Mark came out the next day to check the connections and test the water. Mark is very personable, professional and explained what was going on in layman's terms which is important to me since I don't know a lot about water softeners and plumbing. I would highly recommend Hattersley! We will definitely be calling to get a quote on our next project.

Absolutely wonderful service! We needed plumbing work done and we were in a time crunch and Mark came to the rescue! I will never choose another plumbing company after I saw the quality of work Mark did for us. This is an honest company and mark is extremely knowledgeable in his field. Excellent business to work with. Came out same day to fix a valve that had broken shut and left my house without water. They coordinated with the City Water utility so I didn't have to. Technician who came on site was incredibly friendly, professional, and completed the job very quickly. I would not hesitate to call them for any of my plumbing needs in the future! A++

We woke up Christmas Eve to a very cold house as our heater was no longer working. I called a number of companies with little success. When I contacted A. Hattersley they informed me that they could work us in. It was not long before Mark arrived and determined that our furnace line was frozen. He was able to get it thawed out enough to get the heater running again. We felt bad that he had to be out in this weather to correct the problem but grateful that he was able to identify the problem. He also explained the issue with how the line was installed. We will be looking in to having the line reworked once the weather warms up so we don’t run into this issue every time the weather gets this cold. We much appreciate the quick response on a holiday weekend.

I called A. Hattersley based on a recommendation from a friend at church. I spoke with Mark Hollenbaugh over the phone and explained that I thought I had a water leak. Mark called me in the evening (7:15 pm) and spoke with me for 45 minutes. He came out and looked at the area I suspected had a leak. No leak!!! But he took the time to do a walk through my home and discovered a few other small issues that I had that I didn't even know about. Mark and Ricky came to my home today and completed all the work under the supervision of my two cats..LOL. All this work was done while I was at work and everything was cleaned up when I got home. I have never met Mark in person. We've spoken several times on the phones and he truly cares about his clients. Especially his clients who are widows, like I am.
The cost of the repairs were a bit steep but I had a lot done so that was to be expected.
This company has been around for a long time. A nice family-owned company.

This is the best plumbing, heating and A/C company in Fort Wayne: they do everything plumbing. drain, heating, A/C and electrical.. The residential tech I had was Mark, he is honest, reliable and dependable. He bends over backwards to find a solution he goes above and beyond what is required of him. He is very polite he answers all my questions without making me feel stupid because I don’t know much about plumbing and heating but he takes the time to explain so that I know what’s going on. If there is a problem he gives me options . He is upfront about the costs there are no hidden charges. I have dealt with other companies similar to this in the past and this is by far the best one that I have ever found and Mark is the best tech that has ever worked on my equipment. He is very trustworthy as is A. Hattersley & Sons INC.

I called and got their residential field foreman Mark out for a bid on a job recently and he was great. Very responsive, respectful, informative, and professional. He really cares about the customer and his work. While I didn't end up going with Hattersley for the job this time, I will certainly be contacting Mark for future work I have planned in the near future.

Great experience working with this company. Had a fairly extensive whole-house filtration system installed. Mark took the time to understand the system before providing an estimate. His crew were very personable and professional in getting the job done to a high standard.
