Virgil did an amazing job cutting down multiple trees in my yard and clean up afterwards was top notch.

The owner - Virgil, of Virgils Tree Service is one of the most dishonest business owner. He was paid in full to cut trees and stumps. He cut the trees in February and claimed he would be back to remove the stumps. He had so many excused for not returning to complete the job: I'm super busy; I'll be there this weekend; my grinder broke. In addition, his equipment tore up the lawns of both mine and the neighbor's. It's now the end of October, do you think I have seen him? I will be taking him to court.

Definitely recommend and will be using them for all my tree services. Called for an estimate and received service the SAME DAY! Once again thanks Virgil and the team.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only did Virgil and his employers not finish the job they were paid for, they got their truck stuck on top of our septic field after we told him multiple times in advance where it was located and to not drive anywhere near it. They then had another person come help tow the truck and had to cut down parts of our tree in order to pull the truck out. As a result, they damaged our septic field and tore up our front and backyard. Virgil assured us he would come and fix it but gave excuse after excuse as to why he couldn’t come and ultimately never came back or fixed the problems him and his crew caused.

Virgil came out and gave me a quote which I thought was very reasonable considering the amount of work that needed to be done.. on the day of the job everyone arrived on time, worked hard, and got the job done perfectly. Very professional hard working group. My only regret is not hiring them sooner.

DO NOT HIRE NO LICENSE OR INSURANCE!! If I could leave no star I would. Do not hire this “company”. NOT licensed annd NOT insured. We were told this by two separate tree services that came to my home anddd the city of Crown Point! They do not clean up the messes they make. Virgil is not on site most of the time. And lord help you if they use your neighbors property. Cause they will damage it and not fix their messes. Not to mention leaving holes in driveways from their equipment. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY INCOMPETENT. We will be calling the city(s) and many others on him🤗.

They did an amazing job!!! It was mind blowing watching them in action. You can tell they not only love what they do but they know what they’re doing. I got quotes from about 6 other companies and they were the most reasonably priced by far!!!! I wouldn’t recommend any other tree service but these guys!!!!

Virgil and his crew did an outstanding job trimming some of my large trees, the cleanup went above and beyond. Virgil’s communication and punctuality are outstanding. I highly recommend Virgil’s Tree Service.

Nobody in my area (Michigan City) answered or returned any of my calls. Called Virgil’s yesterday morning and he answered 🥳! He came out couple hours after I called and gave me an estimate. Came the next day and cut the tree down. I was thinking he’d have to reschedule due to the 40 mph winds but that didn’t stop him. Virgil’s is dependable, affordable, and fast!!! Definitely recommend giving them a call for your tree service needs. Will definitely give others your number. Thanks so much!!!!

They cut down two trees in my front yard and did an amazing job! Virgil was easy to get ahold of for estimates and scheduling. If I could give 6 stars I would!!!

Virgil helped our family trim a a very large tree that was cracked and potentially a hazard to our home while also removing a tree that fell on our property and could also be dangerous if it fell. He promptly resolved the issues and was very helpful and professional. We would recommend this company to anyone needing these services.

Virgil is very competitively priced and cares about his customers. I had him do some work on a vacant property and he went above and beyond - even cleaning up some piles that were left.. I would recommend him to anyone who's in need of tree work.

We had Virgil and his crew come out and cut down a tree next to our shop, they done a phenomenal job. They cleaned up so well you couldn’t tell they were even there. Hats off to all of them, we greatly appreciate it.

Bad business...Virgils's tree service was here over a month ago. The guys were working hard on the job on a Sunday. Unfortunately, there is a town ordinance that work cannot be done on a Sunday. The town police stopped by and informed them of this ordinance and shut them down. They cleaned up very little quickly and said they would be back the next day. That was a month ago. They did not come back the next day, so the owner scheduled two other days they could return. They never returned nor did they give any notice. Now the owner will not take my calls, text messages or answer emails. I have been blocked on his cell phone and office line. Luckly, I only paid them 1/2 that day. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!
