We are very satisfied with the work done by Economy Tree Service, we had 4 large oak trees completely removed down to grinding the stumps and other tree trimming.
Omar is an amazing excellent tree cutter, the entire crew did a fantastic job!!

Trust me, do not do business with Economy Tree Service. We asked that a stump be cut down in a presentable manner. The guy acted as if he had never operated a chainsaw and just took careless swipes at it. The result: an absolutely horrible job!!! He said, "That's the best I can do," and left us with a mess.

We had Omar and crew out to trim 2 very large oaks that hung over the house. They also removed 1 maple and grinded stump. We were extremely happy from start to clean up. They did a great job. Very reasonable. I have already referred them to others and will continue to do so.

Absolutely happy with this company! At first I was skeptical, but Mike was very forward and friendly. He was remarkably responsive to all of my questions, ensuring I felt heard throughout the entire process.
On the day our massive “Big Bertha” as we called her came down, his communication along with the team continued to shine, and their professionalism was awesome. When it came to removing the tree and tidying up afterward, they even got on our roof and cleared out all the gutters.
Also, they swooped in on short notice, right on time, and got the project done in just about 5 hours. What's more, and the cherry on top, was their pricing, which was fair for the quality of service they delivered.
I wholeheartedly recommend Economy Tree Service and don’t let the reviews blind you from giving them a chance especially for anyone in need of their expertise. They will definitely be my go-to service in the future!

I’m home minding my own business this guys pulls up aggressively in my driveway asking for the owner I responded you must be the owner how you pulled up in my driveway..Oh I’m sorry he stated then he states I want to offer a bid on tree! I proceeded in curiosity he made me an offer I couldn’t refuse as a homeowner! Contract locked in I made a $100 cash deposit! Shortly after everything was set! I received multiple calls calls and a text suggesting I was his type of woman and did i want to make some extra money! Totally inappropriate total predatory and Lustful behavior and definitely bad for business! I never answered call that day! The next morning service was due to start that day I received a call 7am I did think it was pretty early I assume the call was to confirm service! No it’s was solicitation by Gabriel of me making extra money by allowing him to do sexual acts! I was totally disrespected! Highly offended violated by a predator! The Company was doing work later that Morning on my block the Father Mike showed up …We talked he said don’t be offended his Son is bipolar! Sir I’m HIGHLY OFFENDED and you shouldn’t HAVE YOUR SON OUT IN THE Field Knowing His Turbulent Behavior!
Father you are bad for your own business by allowing this behavior to continue and to diminish what was done to Me! Is not settling! Beware of the Predators That Own an Operate These Companies! God Bless Be Safe!

Heavier set white guy is very rude and has no patience. Very sad to see a male role model with no composure for our youth to have. I will pray for him.

Owner is arrogant and has road rage. Pulled a hit and run on my car. Guessing he had a bad day, but threatened to “beat me up.” Would give zero stars if it was possible.

5 year update!

I can appreciate a late response if you’re honest, but that’s not even close to the case here. You decided to drive in the oncoming traffic lane (towards live oncoming traffic, mind you) on Main Street in Munster, Indiana. When you failed to pass the three cars in front of me, you made the conscious decision to abruptly cut me off and clipped the front end of MY vehicle in the process. Considering it was a two lane road, I proceeded to pull over at the nearest intersection as to not block traffic, called the police and watched you drive off prior to their arrival. Please refer to the attached (time stamped) photos taken the day of the incident to jog your memory. In addition, you mention that you were driving a “chipper truck” but the evidence shows that you were in a company pickup truck. I hope you are doing well and are more mindful of your aggressive driving.

If anyone is curious, I still periodically receive correspondence from the company he was insured with at the time of the accident. I was informed that they dropped his coverage due to his refusal to acknowledge the incident or cooperate with the investigation.

Jim is a PRO! He came out to see the problem tree, gave an estimate, and when I called him to come and cut the tree down he was back same day earlier than expected. He did a great job in a risky area due to the neighbor’s fence and pool.

100% recommend his services!

Had stumps ground and that was done well. BUT driver choose to drive perimeter of my 3/4 acre property to get from one side of house to the other rather than go back to the street. This involved going down hill to wet area and leaving deep tire rut. Also drove all over my neighbors yard. Reply from owner was don't bother me with this garbage. Claims to have insurance but apparently doesn't want to raise his rate.

I recently used this tree service to remove a couple of trees. They are very reasonable on prices. They got the removal done rather quickly and safe. Very professional, friendly, and on time with their services. I would definitely recommend using this company if you want a reasonable price for services and the work done safely. They had a cancelation with someone one day and were able to get my second tree scheduled and done that day they had a cancelation from someone else.

WARNING!!! DO NOT hire Ballard tree service. All seemed well in the beginning, good pricing, got the work done quickly but unfortunately they will not take responsibility if they damage any of your property. They took down some trees in our backyard and one of the trees fell on our neighbors fence. Both us and our neighbors have been trying to reach Jim and Rock from the company to repair the damage they caused but they will not answer our calls/respond to us. The only response our neighbor received was saying that Ballard did not actually do the work, that they contracted the work out to another company and we need to stop calling them. We were never told about the work being contracted out when we approved them to do the work. Doesn’t really make much sense for them to say they contracted the work out when they showed up in a Ballard tree service truck to do the work. They are not insured or approved by Munster to do work in the town. Unfortunately now we will be stuck with the cost of repairing the damages they caused. Save yourself the hassle. Pay a little extra and use a different company.

Ballard tree service did a wonderful job. They gave me the best price out of all the estimates that I received. Also, when they were done with their work my yard was cleaner when they left than it was when they came to do the job. I am very pleased with Ballard tree service and I would recommend them to anyone that needs tree work done.

I was recommended Ballard Tree Service by a coworker. They did tree pruning and trimming on branches over my fathers rental house and suggested additional work that should be done to other limbs that were a safety concern. They worked fast to get the job done. I also needed a tree removed from my home and Jim gave me a quick estimate that was lower than most. They came out and worked fast and efficiently. Awesome job by an awesome guy!
