Highly recommend Sgt Major’s is you need your lawn mowed!! Showed up and completed the job and now my lawn looks perfect and very reasonably priced!!!

We recently had our yard prepped and new sod installed, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The team handled everything from start to finish — prepping the ground, delivering and laying the sod, and even cleaning up and hauling away all the leftover materials.

They were professional, efficient, and clearly took pride in their work. The yard looks amazing, and the attention to detail really shows. They kept everything neat throughout the process and made sure the final result was exactly what we were hoping for.

My experience with Drew and his organization was outstanding. It’s Important to me that people do what they say they’re going to do and show up when they say they’re going to show up. I think that is a part of professionalism: That is as important or more important to me than competitive pricing. Although I had gotten other quotes for the work that was done by Drew and his team and their price was competitive.

The quality of the work was great! The entire experience was a professional and pleasant. I would highly recommend his organization for any work that you need to have done. You will not be disappointed.

I chose this company because he was a veteran owned company and I wished to support that. I specifically talked to Drew in what I was wanting done and he stated how he would use peat moss surrounding the (10) trees that I was having him plant. He also stated that he would stake them down so the wind would not blow them and it would make them more stable this way. Well, when he and his teammate arrived, it was "how fast can I get this done". He chose not to use any additional dirt/ peat moss and just drilled the holes and threw the trees in the ground. Also stating that there was no need to tie them down. He generously removed $100 from the bill for not having to tie them down. It hasn't even been a month since the work was completed and a few of the arborvitaes have dead spots in them already and are not standing straight up any longer. Also in his quote was to edge all of my mulched areas and he bragged about having this special tool that makes a clean cut, so I decided to go with his quote, although he was higher priced than my other 2 quotes. He did nothing he said he was going to do. I had to message him to see if he was coming back to do the edging because it was not done at all. When he did come back, he didn't edge any of the tree areas or the front mulch bed. Cameras showed they used a "weed eater" instead of edging. He edged the side and back where the arborvitaes were planted and that was jagged and crooked down the entire line. Professionalism is doing what you say you are going to do and integrity goes a long way... In this case and with this company, that was not done at all and there was no integrity. Would NOT recommend using this company.
