Eric helped me with good advice over the the phone. I sent him photos of my tree fungus and cracks. Eric responded with solutions and even recommended I seek an arborist to help further. I am amazed with his follow up...even when it was not a sale for him!

Very professional! We hired this company to remove a large tree for my elderly parents. They arrived on time, worked efficiently all day and cleaned the area thoroughly when finished. Highly recommend this company! Thank you!

They did great the work that they did. But they didn’t take one tree down because there was a phone line in the way so I got the line taken down and paid Fields $300 to come back and take down the tree. They said since it was a small job they would do it when they were in the area for a larger job. They never did come and it was months later. A neighbor complained about the dead tree to my brother so he hired someone else to remove it. I talked to Eric and he said he would refund me the $300 - I have not received the refund and I keep calling them and leaving a message. They have not returned my call and I desperately need the $300 to help care for my Mom who has Alzheimer’s. The tree was on her property and it’s her money they have not paid it back. I have no idea how to reach them because they are totally unresponsive to my phone calls.

Although the estimate was done quickly, it was very hard to communicate with Eric after that and get a date and time scheduled. We needed one Colorado Spruce removed from our yard along with stump removal, and I left a number of messages that were never returned. Eric advised me that since ours was a "small job", they didn't put these on the schedule and worked them in whenever they had time and he wanted to call last-minute whenever they were available to do the job. Finally got him to agree to do the job on Friday, July 24th, and when I called him in the morning to get a time estimate, he said he would call back in an hour or so to firm things up...he never did. I got the impression that our job just wasn't important to him, and the lack of communication caused us to seek out another company (who did the job two days after the quote and was less expensive than Fields).

Eric and his crew are the best in the biz. From the time I reached out asking for a quote to the time the tree was on the ground and picked up very neatly was beyond my expectations! The crew was very cautious of the yard not to leave ruts. I would recommend the fields tree service crew to anyone and everyone!!! If I could leave 6 out of 5 stars I would!!

My neighbor hired this company to remove the trees between our houses.
They asked our permission to use our driveway to access the trees.
As a result they crushed 2 pads of our driveway and cracked another.
They will not return our calls or respond to the email we sent for the cost to repair these 3 pads. We will now be forced to pursue the matter through the court system. If you hire them be sure throughly check out your drive way before paying them. Also, do not allow them to access your neighbors property. They did come and clean all the hydraulic fluid they leaked down our driveway when they cut their hydraulic line.

We had many trees and brush cleared in back of a large barn. The crew worked tirelessly and cleaned up the area when done. Exceeded expectations.

The idea of scheduling for the company is to call the evening before and say hey we are coming over tomorrow. When I asked why no one had called me to schedule in the past few weeks the employee replied, "What did you think were were going to come out in a week or something?"

I had a small job that I needed to have done but I haven’t been able to get a quote from them. I moved on to another company. It would have been better if they told me it was too small of a job for them.

Bob and his crew removed several trees and stumps for us at a very fair price. Would use again, and highly recommend.

We have had many jobs done by this most professional company. Our jobs have run the gamut from small tree removal at our home to extensive work at several of our business locations. They arrive on time, are curteous and leave the site in great shape. We will use them whenever we have a need.

I have contacted this business 2 times in the last 3 weeks. Talked to someone both times about setting a time to look at the service I needed. Just like the review posted from someone from a year ago on the same issue, I have never received a follow-up! If the job is too small, then say that or change the way you represent your company. I will be finding another company that wants my money and loyalty.
Providing an update as of 1/15/2020:
Owner did finally leave a quote, but a couple days after my posting to Google originally. Now leaves me messages saying they left me a proposal.
Look, because I point my frustration in lack of a response originally, to which you finally react, and then try to insist that reaction should solve the original issue is not the way it happens. Maybe this company is better, but that was my experience. I am updating by 1 star simply because they now have the interest and attention in trying to figure out what went wrong, over 6 months ago...

This company is very courteous and friendly. They are prompt and fast at what they do. I had three large silver lead maples trimmed, seven dead ash trees and a thorn tree all taken down and their stumps ground up on one contract. They cleaned up after themselves and are careful to avoid yard damage. The prices are very competitive, the rate I was charged per tree was about the same that other companies charge per stump grind.

Amazing company, amazing service, friendly workers and friendly owner who is active in his business. Hopefully I have no more trees die but if I do then these guys are my first choice.
