Reviews of local pros in Griffith, Indiana

She doesn’t treat me well she was talking rude to me

Fair price excellent work

This man was God sent. He was just amazing..

They did the work, just ridiculously expensive! Feel taken advantage of.

Great service! Prompt and efficient and very knowledgeable.

He's trustworthy and efficient. I highly recommend him.

Great guy to have work done. Fast. Knows griffith homes as far as where the water shut off was.

They gave me a price over the phone and once the got here he gave me another price 40.00 more. So called in too the office and they gave me the price I was quoted on.

Gary was nice and very informative. He was also fast and had a fair price

Very reasonable pricing and came the same day to do work.

Gary is awesome! Super friendly! Super helpful! Very happy with his work and would highly recommend!

Gary was great! Professional, quick service, and fair pricing. I highly recommend him for any plumbing needs.

The best of the best. Super professional. Above and beyond for quick scheduling and amazing results. Thanks Gary. Highly recommend.

I chose this plumber based upon our first phone conversation where he displayed a very high level of knowledge, passion and personal care. I was not wrong. I made the right choice. Gary Downing is a 1 man operation, and a wonderful person, with over 40 years of plumbing experience and he has since done several more plumbing jobs for me. I fear the day when he retires.

FYI: The few negative reviews posted here are not accurate, there’s another plumbing company in NWI called Downing plumbing and those reviewers are leaving their review for the wrong company.

Gary is the Man! Always great service, he knows exactly what to do and gets right down to business. Super nice and fairly priced, I've used him several times.

Gary is a great plumber and a good person. I'm very happy with his work. I trust that when he fixes something it's it's done skillfully and professionally. I'd recommend him to my family and friends.

I have been using Gary on my rental properties for last 6 years, he has never failed to accomplish any task, in my absence he meets tenants, completes the work and gives me a super fair price. They guy is quick, courteous, reasonably priced and as long as he is in business I have zero reasons to seek another plumbing contractor. Thank you for all you have done for me.

Called Gary am 8-4-25 for a plugged main drain. Gary arrived promptly and got to work. Gary was able to get the main drain flowing in a short time. Gary diagnosed what he thought was causing the problem as a misalignment. Gary gave me options to repair thr drain permanently. Really great advice as Gary has several decades of experience having seen every possible plumbing issue. Reasonably priced. I recommend Gary Downing for any plumbing need.

Appreciated their straightforwardness.

Prices very fair.

They're consistently pleasant to deal with and work.
