Very helpful were out to fix the problem within 30 minutes of my call. Staff is very friendly and fixed my problem quickly. Thought the cost was very fair too. Highly recommend them.

We had problems with our tub faucet, TLC came the same day. We used them in the past and were happy with them, fair price and good work.

We won't use anyone else. They have been so good to us. They have tackled huge jobs and small tasks. They are ALWAYS professional and reasonable. They go above and beyond!

Its unfortunate that I have to rate 1 star because they don't even deserve it. I have never experienced such poor service in my life. the scam they tried to pull seemed as if they have done this before. there is no common sense with this business on top of the damage they did to my lawn. who needs a backhoe to run a simple water line? I guess they do because the education level is worse than a 5th grader. Thanks to Angie's List I have found another terrible company.

Terry installed the plumbing, in my whole house, nearly 25 years ago. Everything is working great.

He was underpaid and spent a lot of time helping me.

TLC Plumbing is the BEST! I was a newbie & 2 things jumped out at me:

1) Cindy got my appt. setup immediately! In addition, soon as there was a cancelation, I was notified. I had a leak & time mattered.

2) Chris W, the plumber sent, was beyond professional! He educated me on how everything was setup & on my options. I live in a condo with multiple units attached. Chris W had to deal with multiple residents. He helped us all coordinate the repair without any issues. He made the entire experience stress free.

TLC is the answer! I'm 1,000% satisfied & will use TLC going forward! Thank you!

best place, best prices, they do good work and Cindy is really nice to work with on financing work for you.. wouldnt call anyone else.unless they are swamped and you need plumbing work right away. then call Siemers in Schererville.theyre excellent too.

i called this morning to get have this company come out to check out my rental that had flooded. I was thrilled they were able to send somebody right away! The trill ended there when the diagnosis came back as sump pump appears to be working, and the street sewer if full and thats why i got water. I found out from neighbors they had no water in their basement. I grew suspicious that the sump pump is working. I pulled it and found the sump attempting to work however it was clogged shut. Cleared the clog and the pump starting working again. The company obviously didnt want this dirty job, which i rather have that response than two inaccurate results. I will never call them and I honestly feel like they owe me a apology. The lady on the phone was nice though

Our very first time using TLC Plumbing was last Sunday and Monday at my son's house with a septic problem. Being my son is a newish homeowner the situation was definitely overwhelming for him. But from start to finish the friendliness, professionalism, respect, patience, and kindness, made the situation so much easier to get through. We would definitely recommend them highly! Grossly overcharged, sent someone who did not know what he was doing, so he gave up on what he was hired to do because he found a bigger problem so he decided to heck with the rest and fed me a bunch of bologny. Left a horribe stinken mess for me to clean indoors. They may be fine for rodding outside lines or maybe it was this one person, but spending an hour on one line alone, a short one, and not going thru the port where the estimator told him, he chose another route making one ugly stinking mess that i have to spend all day ripping out the vanity , putting on shut off valves, and with a bad hand and wrist i wasn't expecting to do this alone today. I would not reccomend these people. They'll take your money,- alot of it for nothing. And never hire someone for the travel time to get to your house !!! The only reason i gave one star is to give you a review. I take that star back now and give them a complete negative. This guy was lost !! So is alot of my money. I feel ripped off and very angry.

I contacted TLC for warranty service on a defective part on a water heater. They went above and beyond. We have a special needs son that can't really shower in facilities that are not designed for him. Our hot water was out for a week while I dealt with Rheem. TLC had someone out a half hour after I called upon receiving the part from Rheem. Not to mention they also correctly diagnosed the problem and contacted Rheem to order the part after Rheem initially sent the wrong part. The ladies in the office are friendly and accommodating and the service guys were helpful and professional. This family-operated business was very gracious to us!

TLC did an excellent job working on our house! TLC is a trusts-worthy honest Christian based business with fair prices and I would use them again if I need plumbing services. I give them an A1 rating!

TLC plumbing has been our plumber for 20 years. No problems ever while completing repairs and major improvements to our numerous properties. Very glad I met Terry and his wife Cindy. If you need a repair done right, call them, they always stand by their work!

I can't rate the quality of the work yet because they just left. I'm giving TLC Plumbing one star because they are dishonest. I asked for someone to come out and give me an estimate regarding a leaky shower. I was told they wouldn't do an estimate for this kind of job, it would be $120 to come out ( first hour) and $90 per hour afterward. NEVER did they tell me that the dollars started adding up when the staff started gathering supplies in their office. I was charged for 2 1/2 hours labor for him to recaulk my shower! I called about it twice and asked why I wasn't informed in advance that billing started before her even left the office and was told that's just the way they charge everyone. BEWARE if it takes him 30 minutes to get from my house to yours, you are paying for it! I highly doubt I will use their service again. I want someone I can trust!

I called TLC because I suspected a cracked sewer line outside my home. TLC sent Keenan out first thing in the morning. Keenan was able to quickly identify the problem and formed an action plan to correct. His communication skills were on point. He explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He spent extra time to make sure the line was rodded out completely before repairing crack and gave us sound advice for our unique plumbing situation. The repair bill was far cheaper than other companies. If you’re looking for reasonable pricing, knowledgeable employees, honest company and quality work TLC should be the company you call first. a had a leak in my kitchen pipe and unfortunately it was under my slab. My tech explained everything step by step and was very patient with all of my questions. He did a great job and cleaned up the area. A great affordable company!

Complaint Description:
This company has a $20 coupon on its website and no where did it state that the coupon must be printed and presented at the time of service. TLC refused to honor the coupon at time of service. I called TLC this morning to schedule a service call. I asked whether the $20 coupon advertised on their website would apply to this service and was told yes. I told TLC that I would be at work when they came that day, but would leave a check that my kids' babysitter could fill in the amount after service was rendered. The Coupon on the website did not state anywhere that it must be printed and presented at the time of service. The person at TLC did not tell me when I specifically asked if the coupon would apply that it needed to be presented in writing. The service provider refused to honor the coupon when the babysitter went to fill in the amount due and owing. The babysitter was upset and called both me and my husband at work. We advised her of the above but the service provider continued to refuse to honor the coupon and the agreement that it would apply. We instructed her to pay without the adjustment for the coupon because we were not there to resolve the issue. I called the owner later and explained the above and specifically told her that that was not ethical to take the position that the coupon needed to be presented at the time of service since I was never told that when I specifically asked TLC and also it was not on the website. TLC's owner refused to honor the coupon despite my explaining the details above. Her statements: "if I had to print it out to attach to the invoice, I'd be out the cost of the paper"; "if we let anyone who saw the coupon use it that would be everyone"; "everyone knows all coupons must be printed out". Dishonest and unethical. While I do not care about the money, I care about the principle of such behavior.

TLC came out and did great work for us. They were professional and always kept me in the loop. They called a day ahead of time to confirm the appointment and arrived on time. This really impressed me. I will definitely be using TLC in the future.

I have used these guys 4 times for my rental and home properties and they get the job done quickly and efficiently. Mark is a pleasure to talk to,and Cindy & Terry are fair and honest. They treat their employees and customers right!
