Absolutely love Bonnie. She was kind and thorough. This was only my 2nd clean, but so far both times were great and thorough cleans. Highly recommend merry maids.

I would recommend Mary Maids of Hendricks County to anybody looking for a great cleaning service. Outstanding communication and extremely thorough cleaning.

1. Number of people and the time spent here: at first only one person came, and she said she didn't know what happened to the other person who should have come at the same time. About 45 minutes later, another person, who claimed herself to be the manager, came here. This person didn't even bother to talk to me and she was constantly on her phone. The first person spent exactly 2 hours here mostly working, but the second person spent about 40 minutes here working, and wanted to leave early without even talking to me.

2. The quality of their work: overall their work is just a tiny bit better than doing nothing at all. I could have done the same thing in an hour myself. The first person was doing mostly dry wiping, which is the simplest thing anyone can think of. I honestly don't know what the second person did. When she wanted to leave early without telling me, I stopped her and she used a mop to somewhat cleaned the spider webs in the garage. The previous owner of the house kept it in a relatively good condition, and she has done a basic cleaning before she moved out. I specifically told the boss of Merry Maid to clean in the inside of all drawers in my reservation, and I told the same thing to the cleaning people. However, I included pictures of what I found inside the drawers when I was doing the "real" cleaning after their cleaning. I could have taken many more pictures just like them but it was inconvenient to use my phone while cleaning those places. The last picture was from the laundry area, where the first person claimed that she has cleaned.

3. Attitude: the first person was okay, but no better than that. The second person kept saying "this place is clean". If you translate the sentence, then it means that they just want to charge your money for doing nothing. The second person spent most of the time arguing with me, about the total time spent, about things to do/clean, about the cost, etc. About an hour into the "cleaning", I knew I was ripped off and I just let them do whatever they wanted without even looking at them.

4. Cost: I was told that they charge $110 per hour. The first person spent exactly 2 hours here, maybe 125 minutes. The second person spent 60 minutes here, but really worked for no more than 40 minutes. I was charged $192.5. I intentionally waited for a few days until the charge has been posted on my credit card and they can't find a good reason to charge me more money. This shows how little trust I have towards these people. To the boss at Merry Maid: I gave you my credit card information over the phone. If I find fraudulent charges in the future, police will be contacted.

5. Summary: all what they do is to make a super nasty place not that nasty. Their work has nothing to do with "cleaning". During the past ten days or so, I have dealt with many people, from carpet washing to furniture delivery, from internet service setup to appliance installation, and Merry Maid has the worst service by far.

I have been using them for several years now, and would recommend to anyone who needs cleaning done. Very thorough, I am always thrilled with the results

My first visit was a deep cleaning and I came home to a beautiful house. I was so nervous about having someone come into my home and see the dust and pet hair but I feel like it's the best decision I've made in a long time. It's freed up so much time for me to spend with my grandchildren and they are able accomplish things my old body just can't do anymore. I highly recommend this service.

And the Office step is always very accommodating if my schedule changes. It’s great to come home on Friday evening and have a clean house!
