Great service from great people. We had a pump go bad and when they went to pull it, it was stuck. He explained the process and they finished up the tank replacement and everything except the pump the first day. And as Leon said, today (July 4th Holiday) Leon and his assistant were here early and the pump came right out. They had water flowing outside within 30 minutes off the pump head line to flush out and water in the house 30 minutes later. He gave very specific instructons on the process to turn water on one item at a time, and run for certain periods of time. He'll be back in 5 years for the service of the system. No one has done anything to my well for the 19 years ive owned this hoise and Leon gave us good info and educated us on how to "maintain" a well as a home owner. No one else, but J&L will take care of my well. Vic Russell.

I have no idea how this guy has any positive reviews. Came out to my house on Saturday, very responsive and ready to roll. I was really happy he could make it out same day. He went on about his being 64 years old and doing this since he was 16, elaborating about his extensive experience. Upon arrival, he had his assistant put a multi-meter on my well switch, who confirmed voltage. He immediately told me that I had a well from back in his day. He asked me a few leading questions "Do you know how old this house is?" and "How long have you lived here?" I took him out to the well, opened up the cover, and he looked at it and said "Wow haven't seen one like this in a while" He then told me I had push, but no lift. I asked what does that mean, and he said "Your pump is going out." He told me there are 2 phases, and 1 isn't working. "I don't need to take your money" for some reason he repeated twice. I led him back to the house where my wife was. I asked him again, "Can you explain again what's going on with the well?" and he exclaimed "I just told you!" I responded to him that I troubleshoot things for a living and I saw no deductive steps to reach that conclusion, I'd just like a little more explanation. He declared "I have excellent reviews, I've been doing this for years!!", "I don't need to take your money.", "I've been doing this long enough to know!" It was very awkward at this point, I'm very non-confrontational, but I said "I think we're done I think you need to leave now." His helper immediately packed up and left (I think this happens a lot?) He would not leave. I had to ask him to leave 3 additional times while he went on standing in the doorway about how everyone else was going to rip me off and I've only got 5 companies to pick from and he's got the best reviews. He finally left. My wife thanked me, and let me know he had been really rude when she answered the front door. I then called a competitor. He had me take some basic steps. Check the gauge. Open a faucet until the problem arose, check the gauge again. He then over the phone diagnosed a clogged sediment filter. I changed it out while we were on the phone, and voila, problem solved. After the fix, I told a big story about the guy who just came out while we waited to make sure it stayed working. He responded "Let me guess, he's from J&L, Lonnie" and I answered "I don't know, I didn't get his name, but that's definitely the company" While we scheduled a cleaning service, the competitor I called said he fields service phone calls all weekend from people like me who have catastrophic well problems they need a second opinion on, only like me to find out they were almost bamboozled. J&L Tried calling me back, but I texted them and let them know it was just a sediment filter. This dude was seriously going to sell me a new pump, without doing any deduction of the problem, when all I had was a clogged sediment filter.

You will not find a more knowledgeable or experienced well contractor in Indianapolis. These guys know wells inside and out. It’s a very scary feeling when your water goes out, but as soon as I called J and L, I knew I was in good hands. They responded immediately, got the job done in lightning fast time, and followed up to make sure everything was working for me. I highly recommend them.

Leon came out to fix my well that stopped working. It was an old well dug in 1939 evident from the paperwork I got with the house. Turns out it was Leon's grandfather that did it. I gave him the paperwork from 1939 and he said he was going to frame it!!!! Anyways he did an excellent job. Because it was so old it got stuck many times, and as a result many lesser people/companies would have gave up and advised to dig a new well. They got it out after a couple days and the well is working perfectly. He said it is a well built well and should last another 80 years! Pricing was extremely fair and the education was invaluable. Thank you LEON!!!

Lost all water pressure over the Thanksgiving holiday. Leon and Roger came out that same evening and replaced the well pump switch so I got my water back. I also needed a new well pump (the one I had was probably the original from when the house was built.) These guys are super helpful, dependable, polite and the price was right! Good old-fashioned pride in doing the job right! Can't say enough!

Leon and his crew with J&L repaired two wells in Hendricks county and got them going for me. They are very knowledgeable and taught me how wells work and what things to look for in the future before pump failure. Leon always stayed in contact the whole time and after they were done to make sure were taken care of.
