absolutely unacceptable practice, failed to provide a service that is paid for,, called them for a mattress sit out, yes wrapped in plastic, they failed to pick it up, called 3 times to get an answer, "they sent the wrong truck" I called it in earlier in the week, told them King mattress, ok you screwed up, just send the correct truck so neighbors don't have to look at this all weekend, they refused to do so. So much for customer service!!

Trucks keep driving 3 feet into my yard. After filing a complaint, their safety rep came out unannounced to my home and denied the issue because he couldn’t positively identify the tire tread as matching their truck tires (I have now installed cameras for future reference). Instead of fixing the issue, it was made to look as if we, the homeowners, are somehow in the wrong. Excited about catching them in the act; the excitement is why I gave two stars instead of their usual one star (I love the entertainment factor).

I called Eco Tech because I had an incident with one of the garbage trucks that I felt needed to be reported. I was driving on Poindexter in Sellersburg, when one of their trucks decided to use the entire middle of the road and not bother to move over, which caused me to drive off the road. Luckily, I didn’t hit anything or become stuck since I had my 2 year old daughter in the vehicle. When I called and spoke to the woman on the phone, she didn’t seem to be concerned and conveniently there wasn’t a supervisor available. I was transferred to a safety supervisor, which I left a voicemail and haven’t heard back from “Larry”. From reading these reviews, the people that work here clearly do not care about other people’s property or safety. They may have taking the incident more seriously since it was a company vehicle I was In was damaged or my child had been hurt.

Terrible. I was told it would take up to 14 days to get a can. It took 22. Then, once I finally received the can, the second week, they didn’t even pick up my trash. I called and was told “there was a new driver on my route, he must have mistakenly skipped my can.” I was told they would pick it up the following day and it was 2 days later. Cancelled their services. Definitely don’t recommend.

I am forced to give a one star rating, because there is no lesser option. This is the absolute WORST establishment in the history of the trash industry. The owners (Matt and Bobby Lee) are 2 of the most incompetent, vile creatures (I cannot even call them humans) on the face of the earth. They talk to their employees as if they are animals, and they treat their management even worse. I have never been one to write reviews on companies, but this had to be said. Neither of them know anything about professionalism or respect. There is a reason that this company has such a high turn over rate for employees. Nobody wants to work for them due to how they are treated on a daily basis; and for those that do work for them, they are out of options. It is a last resort. Many people refer to this company as the "rejects of the trash industry", and no truer words have ever been spoken. This company will always be the "reject" because it is ran by the 2 biggest rejects on the face of the planet. They don't know the first thing about customer satisfaction, nor do they care to know anything about it. I am guessing the steroid use has went to their egos rather than their bodies.

I was a long-time Eco Tech customer, and they did well picking up my trash. But they consistently and repeatedly failed to pick up my yard waste, despite multiple calls over several weeks. Even emailed the Big Cheese at Eco Tech KY, to no avail. After about 5th missed pickup in a couple of months, I cancelled and went to Republic. They made no effort to remedy the problem, so away I went. Thanks.

We've used nearly every provider in Louisville and EcoTech is by far the best. Others would just skip houses on our street for no reason and customer service was a joke, but not EcoTech. They pick up every scheduled day, whenever I've had to call about a billing issue or when we moved we spoke to very kind representatives.

Several times a year they consistently don't pick up my trash or my neighbors. Our pick up is in an alley, which they sometimes "forget" about.

This week I called and asked if they picked up furniture. I was told that they would. On pick up day, the workers refused. When I call customer service, there is an excuse, or they are typically rude.

They missed 2 weeks of trash pick up not only myself but several people. They are contracted with our town and we are charged monthly with no choice to get our own trash co. I submitted the camera video of the guys refusing to pick up our trash (took 3 bags) also one giving us the finger. After having to contact the company main person Matt, he was very rude. Keep in mind I should have never had to contact them since the town has the contract! I let him know that I was a veteran and does not get benefits and should be getting services paid for, he said he didnt care, not his prob. and continued to put my service down! After the 3rd week a man from our town had to follow their truck to make sure that they were picking up peoples trash. This company is a joke! If anyone else has this issue please send me an email

They do a wonderful job collecting our trash.

Garbage garbage man can’t be bothered to actually do his job and pick up the trash. They take photos of your cans and decide it can’t be taken bc the can is overflowing rather than doing his job.
Owners have a backdoor deal with the mayor forcing New Albany city residents to pay into the ecotech monopoly with no option for pickup service that isn’t absolute trash.
Negative reviews mean nothing, BBB complaints are pointless. Until the corrupt deal with the city is exposed and ended New Albany residents just have to suffer with this garbage trash collection company.

My business has used Eco-Tech for our recycling service for the last 4 years, and during that time we have spent a great deal of effort to sort and recycle our solid waste. However, much to my dismay, I found that Eco-Tech was picking up our recycling and putting it in with the normal trash. When I confronted the general manager with this he stated that if he does not have enough drivers they pick-up and mix recycling with normal trash. Given that I was paying for a recycling service, and the efforts my company made to recycle waste, the Eco-Tech response was to yell at me over the phone rather than make it right. WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR ANY RECYCLING.

The drivers are so lazy they can't get out of the truck to pick up a bag or anything that isn't in their cans. They force you to buy more cans or they won't pick up your trash. Worst trash company I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend you stay far away from them. I will be talking to all my neighbors about calling another trash service and get a lower rate if multiple people move to them. If you decide to go with this company< i'm sorry. You've been warned.

They pick up for my apartment complex. Older white male always flings bags off the dumpster onto the ground and just leaves them there. He also left the dumpster out in the parkinglot block from some people backing up to leave. I've also caught him eating out of the trash.

Our driver missed our pick up days 3 weeks in a row and pick up day is Friday. I’m an understanding person and that’s why I waited 3 times to call. So I called the following Monday after the third pick up was not completed on time to see what the issue was. I was given no explanation, and was told the driver would be at my house the next day. Tuesday came and no pick up. I called Wednesday and was given no reason and was forwarded to the drivers supervisor who was also not in the office. This company provides the worse service, lacks professionalism, and integrity. I was told a lie and there was no accountability for that lie. I am recommending people to call another company like Blevins who’s is cheaper anyways.

Can’t speak for regular trash pickup. I called for a large item pickup. Paid $25 in advance for them to pick it up in a scheduled day. They picked up the regular trash from the trash cans, they did not take the large item. Later that night someone looking for junk pulled up and took it themselves. I called eco tech about them not pickup up the item and wanting a refund for not getting the service I paid for. I was told the manager isn’t in and to leave a voicemail….i was never contacted, awful customer service

We have placed our large city trash can and our small trash can for yard waste out at the street. Twice now, Ecotech has taken the small trash can and put the entire can into the truck. The first time it happened I didn’t want to complain so we just bought another. However, today our replacement was also taken by Ecotech. I’ve called and asked for a replacement or refund. They stated they do not replace small trash cans but would call me back later. No time frame for the return call was given. I am upset that we wasted our money on two small trash cans and they were both stolen by Ecotech. They have made no effort to replace or reimburse us. Their customer service is lacking, and no apology was made for the stolen trash cans. I will be notifying the city of New Albany.

The absolute worst garbage service!!!!!! I live at El con condos. Since we have had this service. The dumpster when emptyed are literally dropped down anywhere they want. In the grass for on the walkway!! The residents are complaining to management but nothing done. Beware!! Of this service

They picked up service like clockwork for 1 year. I had my service moved less than 2 miles on Dixie highway and then that's when the nightmare started. We signed a contract for 3 years at $50 per month. They moved my dumpster and then went 2 weeks without picking up. Called and they picked up 2 days later. And were to pickup again to makeup for it but then the excuses came, weather, down truck, they pickup 2 days later. When I called to complain the dispatcher says talk to the sales rep. The sales rep says its not her fault and made up excuses then told me to cancel the contract if I don't like it. The manager then stated yelling at me saying we did pickup, he was so wrapped up on the fact they picked up once in 4 weeks as an accomplishment, then said if they are behind they just skip and pickup the next week. Then stated we are canceling your contract and not to have service problem crediting me $100. They talk over and through, yelling and just repeat themselves with no solution or active listening worst trash co ever. Avoid at all costs. And the service was for my business.

No complaints. Reliable and priced ok. Better than hometown hauling who made a mess, would miss pickups
