Painting reviews across the US

RRD Painting totally remodeled my 2 bedroom townhouse. It was completely trashed by previous renters. Basically tore everything out of the place and replaced it all with new. The only original thing left is the kitchen cabinets which were redone. They arrive everyday and worked for 7-8 hours a day. I never had to wonder where they were or if the place was being taken care of. They finished a complete remodel within 3 weeks. They went above and beyond. I am very happy and plan to use them again for future projects.

“We had an excellent experience with RRD Painting. Their team took the time to do the job right and delivered outstanding results on our wood shingles. The attention to detail was clear in every step, and our house looks incredible. I’ll be calling RRD again for future painting, wood rot repair, and deck staining projects. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for professional painters who care about quality!”

I have used RRD for multiple projects and they always do a great job. They are punctual efficient and go the extra mile. We have always been very happy with the results. Would recommend for any home project!

RRD Painting took on a complicated job at our house in Leawood and they did an excellent job. Ludy and his crew work very hard and their quality of work is exceptional. You won't find a better painting company. Give them a shot, you'll be happy you did.

We are very happy with the job that Ludy and his crew did painting the exterior of our house. They worked very hard and was meticulous with the prep, which is a very important foundation to a durable paint job, power washing the siding and using quality caulk to caulk seams and nail holes, scraping loose paint and replacing wood rots around the house. It was very important to us that high quality paint was used for long lasting protection for our house, and Ludy assured us that he only uses high quality paint from Sherwin Williams. His crew was also very friendly and communicative. I have no problem highly recommending Ludy and his crew for any painting job!

I have hired Benjamin for multiple projects. Drywall remove and replacement, interior painting and exterior painting. His work is exemplary. He is always professional and timely. I appreciate his work ethic and approachability. Great work always!!

I am very particular when home repair is involved. Ben and his team exceed my highest expectations. They repaired some significant drywall damage and painted. The walls are smooth as glass. They cleaned up completely, and stayed in contact throughout the project. These guys are now my "go to"

This is the second time we have worked with Ben, Yolanda and their crew. They are so great! Efficient, reasonable, quick and do a wonderful job!

Ben and Yolanda are the diamonds in the rough! Finding a good quality, trustworthy, and timely contractor to depend on these days is hard to find, but Ben, Yolanda and their team are it! I am a local property manager and Real Estate broker and have used them for many jobs - small and large. I refer them to my first time home buyers because I can trust that they will do an amazing job and NOT overcharge them! I am SO thankful I found them! Do not hesitate to reach out, you can't find a better team!

Ben is AMAZING and incredibly professional! I call him for all of my home repair needs. He’s done my crown molding and title backsplash in my kitchen, and some drywall repair in my living space. I’m always more than pleased with his work.

The best! Ben does it all! I hired him for painting, staining, powerwashing, ceiling fan install, screen repair, wall repair etc. Soon he will be doing some tile backsplash work for me. Great job top to bottom. Good prices. No compliants. He is my repair guy for life!

I was referred to Ben by a good friend that had several great interactions with him. I called Ben and received a call back a few days later. At that point we discussed what I needed done and said he would come that Saturday between certain hours. Ben was a no call no show. I reached out to him that following Monday and he said that he would come that same same day but did not give an explanation or apology for the no call no show. He did in fact come that afternoon and gave me an estimate and we agreed on a price. I asked him when he could start. He said he would check his schedule and call me back the next day. That was February 15th and he still hasn't called. This is poor business practice and customer service. If he didn't want the job all he had to do is say so but to completely dismiss a potential client was very rude and unprofessional. At this time I can not recommend this painter. He has proved himself unreliable and unprofessional.

*****Update: I have been contacted by the company and we are working towards a solution. I will update this review accordingly once a resolution had been reached. And thank you to the owner for providing a more reliable way to make contact.

*****Second Update: 2-25-2022
I have been in contact with Ben. We have reached a resolution and I am happy with the results. Ben and his assistant was kind, courteous and professional when at my home. They began working immediately and made sure to clean up behind themselves when done. The paint on my ceiling is flawless and unless you knew where the damage was you can't tell that anything ever happened. I would definitely recommend their services now.

Ben and crew did a very professional job of replacing rotted exterior wood, trim and siding. Cleaned up thoroughly after, good value for the money. Ben made some good suggestions to increase life of replaced wood and save money. Will definitely be using Ben for future work.

Benjamin did great work on my home. He has done dry wall, painting, pressure washing, and exterior repairs. All of the work he has done has been high quality. His pricing was fair for every service.

Benjamin recently repainted my porch and replaced the screen on it. He and his crew were outstanding and did a great job. I was very impressed with the work and the price. Looks like a new porch now!

I hired Ben's Painting to repair two holes on the side of the facia of my house and the lower wood footing of two columns. They arrived on time, were very professional fixing it in one day and leaving no mess. I highly recommend them.

Benjamin was hired to transform the exterior of my house with a new paint color. The project included pressure washing, prepping to include caulking, sanding and replacing rotted wood, priming, then meticulously painting the house with high quality paint. The results seen yesterday was extraordinary! He really went above and beyond! I definitely highly recommend Benjamin!

Benjamin and his team pressure washed my home and did an amazing job. The crew was punctual and professional. I have never had anyone wash my house with their level of attention to detail! I would gladly hire them for all of my projects.

Ben just completed an outstanding job retrofitting our kitchen to accommodate a new microwave. This involved carpentry, tile and duct work on top of installing the new microwave. We've now asked Ben for estimates on some additional work. Excellent workmanship and attention to detail.

I highly recommend Benjamin and his team as they are very honest and reliable. They helped me repair damage from water intrusion around a couple windows and explained how I can prevent it from happening again. Benjamin was very transparent about my options, the results I might expect from each and the estimated costs. He even refused any payment until the work was completed to my satisfaction.

I used Ben's Painting & Home Repairs to replace rotten wood in the railings of my front porch. Other companies didn't seem to want to take on this small job. Ben replied very quickly. His quote was reasonable. He came when he said he would. He had to "rebuild" the railing structure due to where the rotten wood was. He needed to replace the wood and then paint the whole area so all would match. He and another man worked hard all day and finished in one day. I was very pleased with the work that was done and wouldn't hesitate to use him again and recommend him to others!
