    Daniel Holzhauser was very helpful, pleasant and kept us informed every step of the way!! After a company went out of business late 2021 and left us with only panels, the SolarGuys came on board, spring of 2024 and completed the installation.     I highly recommend The Solar Guys of Iowa. The technicians that worked on my system, Daniel and Soren, were pleasant and professional. These guys came in to fix and complete an installation partially done by another company that shuttered before completing my install. They went through the entire panel install to make sure connections and wire management were correct. They found issues with the original panel install, such as improper wiring, improper grounding, loose wires hanging underneath, and even some panels that were not secured well enough. All the issues were fixed! They went above and beyond to find service equipment necessary for my install that was in high demand and difficult to get quickly. They took care of all communications with our provider and the city. Our electrical system is more complicated than most, with parallel feeds from the meter for different functions in the house, not just a single service breaker box. They figured it out and were able to appropriately wire the new connections for the solar inclusion. During it all, they kept me informed of all the steps taken. I'm running live now and happy with it. Update: added bill photos. Delivered 3x to the grid what I used from the grid! Have a nice credit already banked in the first month! Last years usage for the same time also include.

    I honestly had a great experience start to finish. Rich was my initial contact, sorting out what I generally was looking for. Mike came out and did my estimate, and answered all my questions (including answers where could have sold me things I didn't need, but was honest instead). Soren and Daniel did my install, they were great with both me and my dog. Michelle in billing and Jen as the project manager were very quick in answering questions as they sprung up. The whole process was smooth, and everyone there was helpful and kind. Nothing but the best. Edit: Forgot to mention, help didn't end once the install was over. A few months later they contacted me and asked if I noticed a full row of panels was out (I had not.) They quickly sent someone to check it out and it was fixed within days of them noticing (squirrel ate some wiring). Top shelf support.

    I had a great experience with the Solar Guys. Soren was very friendly and helpful when it came to any questions that I had, and with keeping me updated with the status of the project. He sent a message to let me know when he would be arriving, which I appreciated. He was also right on schedule, not a minute late, very professional. A lady named Heather reached out to me more than once to let me know what needed to be done next in regards to the project, and helped to schedule times that worked for me, which was really great. I was thrilled that I didn't have to miss work for this project to be completed on my property, I just left acess to inside my house, and they went in and got the job done!
