Constraction reviews in Grimes, Iowa

I’ve hired Coos Contracting on two separate occasions and Adrian and his crew did not disappoint. I utilized them to repair some siding damage around my windows. They did an excellent job and even took care of some additional issues.
Several months later I called Adrian on a Friday about getting a quote for replacing and extending my driveway. Adrian was at my house the following day on Saturday getting measurements and I had a detailed quote by the end of the day and they started the project the following Tuesday.
My entire driveway, which is a challenging one with steep grade, was replaced that week and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Adrian and his crew were hard working and the communication through the process was excellent.
I highly recommend Coos Contracting!

I needed a driveway extension poured and was looking at companies to hire. I found Coos Contracting through a Facebook recommendation. I hired them because of their reviews, promptness for returning calls, and how courteous Adrian Coos was during our conversations.
Once we had spoken about exactly what we were looking for, Adrian had the job scheduled within one week. They came in, took care of the project and were done in the same day.
I'm VERY pleased with the outcome of the driveway and would/will absolutely hire them again.

Coos Contracting did an amazing job for us with new concrete patio. Excellent workmanship, communication, and coordination. When Adrian and the crew ran into a snag with a bad staircase above the patio- Adrian and his team were quick to offer a solution and we weee able to repair a stairway as well. value-added teamwork is what bosons all about!

Coos Contracting replaced my driveway and steps. They also added steps and a walkway from the side of the house to the back. They were very quick from start to finish and did an amazing job. The customer service and quality of work were excellent. Highly recommend and very reasonable.

Adrian and his crew do a great job, they were always on time, and the finished driveway looks great and done right!! They use good concrete and materials to make your project standout!!
I will definitely be using them again in the future!
I interviewed and got several estimates from other contractors and I chose Adrian , because he had good references from local suppliers I had talked to. They have lots of experience on the crew, from his Father to the guys working for him.
I'll be calling Coos Contracting again, for my next project

We had an amazing installer named Keenan do our bathroom shower. He was very detailed and knew what needed to be done. He did an impeccable job, we couldn’t be happier! From Keenan, Matt and Nick you guys went above and beyond to make things so easy for us, thank you for everything. Your company is lucky to have you all. Definitely recommend Mad City!!!!

We had two windows replaced by Mad City. Joshuah and Aaron were polite, knowledgeable, and quick. Even though we have a very old house and it's not square anymore, the windows are plumb and able open or lock, unlike the old ones. When they left, the guys had cleaned up and we couldn't tell they'd been here. I highly recommend these two gentlemen! 5 stars for Josh & Aaron!
We also had a walk-in shower installed. Wyatt worked to repair some plumbing that had been cobbled together when the bathroom had been put in. He was quick and efficient. Very knowledgeable and personable as well. The shower is great! It was very hard for me to get in and out of the tub because of a handicap but not now, the assist bars are in the best locations and Wyatt made sure the bench seat was at the best height for me. He also cleaned up everything before leaving
5 stars for Wyatt!

Excellent experience and service through every step on our purchase of replacement windows! Triple pained lifetime warranty! Our installers were professional, courteous and absolutely excellent craftsmen!

I had a walk-in bathtub installed. Everything was done very professionally. All the workers from the installer, plumber and electricians were personable and professional. After two knee replacements and not being able to get out of a regular bathtub was the reason I decided on the walk-in tub. Some people may not like the cost, but you can’t put a price on health. Plus it’s guaranteed if anything goes wrong, and the guarantee transfers to the next homeowner. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Mad City Windows are a great company. Everyone was very professional and friendly. The salesman, the one who measured for windows and the two young men that installed the windows. The young men that installed the windows were wonderful. They were very skilled professionals. The windows look wonderful and has made a big difference on our heating bill. I am looking at replacing more windows in my home in the near future. I will be contacting Mad City to do our next installment.
