We had our furnace go out and the tech showed up first thing the next morning, which is always nice especially since we are heading into a severely cold weekend. Now, we have had some issues with a technician in the past (2019 but I'm told he is no longer with the company) which caused us to ignore their free inspection offers ever since. But I'm more than happy to report that the technician that came out today, Michael White, has restored my faith in their free inspection offers and Golden Rule in general. Michael was extremely polite and respectful, he explained things in a very thorough manner which I appreciate greatly, answered all my questions in detail and you could just tell he is a good guy overall which goes along ways with me. The repairs went smoothly, everything looked pretty and well done. The furnace is back up and running and we couldn't be happier. Great job today Michael! We greatly appreciate it.

I am a relatively new customer.
But have been very happy with the service i've received over the last year. Besides maintenance, I have upgraded my system based on recommendations given by the team. The couple of people I have encountered have been fantastic and very professional. Today, Barry came to my house for my fall maintenance, and I brought up upgrading my thermostat. It was the end of the day but he took the time to go over options to consider. I very much appreciate his thoroughness and helpfulness. I would definitely recommend Golden Rule.

Golden Rule 2 for 2 on amazing service! Ben looked at my water heater wiring. My unit is coming to end of its life and he explained every option in detail. I never felt like he was pushy or just there to sell me a unit. I'm glad I got the membership and the knowledgeable techs employed by GR.

Our garbage disposal was leaking so I reached out to four companies for a quote. Golden Rule responded quickly and gave us a quote. They also were able to come the next day. Other companies couldn’t come until the next week. Adler did a great job and offered suggestions on what to look for in the future. He was very nice and professional! We experienced a carbon monoxide leak in our furnace in the middle of the night. Called Golden Rule as soon as they opened, we had a technician out within the hour. Evan was very thorough with his inspection and very knowledgeable. We understood now at this point we needed a new unit. Bobby was able to present several options at a fair price. We decided to move forward. Theron, Teddy and Abraham were over the next day. Everyone was professional, personable and was able to compete a full furnace and AC replacement in less than 8 hours. Very impressed by the communication. All Class. A+ company.

My brother's furnace went out the day before he needed a hospital treatment and we needed help fast. We called Golden Rule and it was the best decision. They sent Colton out the same day and he spent hours looking at the problem and helping us to make the decision to repair or replace. We never got any pressure to replace...instead we got step by step thorough exam of all components and with constant updates which helped us make the decision that we needed to replace. Dustin came quickly to quote the new system. Again no pressure to upsale Both gentleman were and so patient and kind as we dealt with things by phone calls and taking extra steps to keep my ill brother informed of what we were all deciding and comfortable. They set his house up to be warm through the night. We were so appreciative of these wonderful guys. The next day, while we were at the hospital, Theron & Bill installed the new furnace. They took their time and were so thorough with some poorly wiring done by a different company to get everything up to code. They left the work area spotless. Pricing was fair. No surprises. We paid exact amount they quoted. The main office was also good about sending texts with needed information. The whole experience was positive and professional on every level. We will recommend Golden Rule, Colton, Dustin, Theron & Bill to everyone!!

Had Michael come out to look at my leaking bathtub faucet due to handle not able to completely shut the water off. He was very professional and courteous and figured out the problem right away. Gave me the cost of each scenario which may occur upfront….no bs. Even though he ran into a couple frustrating moments due to older tub fixtures, he maintained and problem solved on the fly. Great company and great guy to work with. I do highly recommend.

Bobby Johnson was great to work with. He explained everything in detail and answered every single one of my questions. He made the decision for this big purchase feel less painful. His knowledge on heating and cooling systems are excellent. Would 100% recommend him for any heating and cooling needs you may have.

Seth came in and inspected our electrical. We moved into this house 4 years ago and needed reassurance it was up to code compared to new housing. Seth explained everything to our understanding. We did have him install a whole home surge protector. We were satisfied with the pricing and he was able to complete the job the same day.

The control panel on my furnace fried overnight and I could tell something was wrong so I called Golden Rule first thing to have someone take a look. Within the hour, Evan was on site and had the issue diagnosed within minutes. Instead of pushing a new and expensive unit on me, he went and tried to source the parts it would take to repair the old unit and explored all options. While it ended up being symbolic as we concluded the old one was not worth repairing, I appreciated the willingness to explore those options.

Once we decided to move forward with the replacement, he had Tom there to go over my options before I could even get back into my work. Tom did an excellent job going over my options with me and worked with me when the option I selected wasn't in stock. He made that process and completing the financing a breeze.

Within the next hour, Logan and his team arrived to begin tearing out my old unit. He was very patient with me and my curious nature when I came to check on things. They also did a great job going over the features of my new thermostat and syncing it to my phone.

From first call to Logan leaving after installing my new furnace and AC was about 8 hours on the SAME DAY. I couldn't be more impressed with the whole team as I had mentally prepared myself to go dig out some blankets and space heaters for a cold night. Extremely grateful for the whole team making things happen so I didn't have an unpleasant night.

I couldn't recommend Golden Rule enough! A+ marks all around from me.

Golden Rule helped us out so quickly! Our furnace went out and I couldn't figure it out. Brian came out to diagnose and had a guy drop off a couple of parts. The whole thing was figured out and fixed so quickly! Turned out to be a warranty deal for our system but he took care of everything for us. They're definitely saved in my phone as the first call if I need anything.

Awesome people, some of the most helpful people I've ever met. Matt returned my call right away and sent me options for my project.

Goering has been our go-to for plumbing and HVAC for about 15 years, but after two recent service calls (one for hot water heater, one for the furnace) where I had to pay a lot and the problems weren't fixed, I am switching my business. I can't speak to the plumbing side of the business.

They did an awesome job of installing our new kitchen faucet! Very professional and efficient. They were in and out in 30 minutes!

This company gave me the best estimate and did the work exactly as stated in the bid for the price we agreed on with no issues. The office staff and on site staff were friendly and easy to contact and answered all my questions. I will use them again!
