Water Damage Restoration reviews in Grimes, Iowa

Fumigation and clean up after my brother passed away in his apartment. This included cleaning out all rooms and sorting into piles for: 1) Personal items (e.g., photos) for me to look through; 2) Items to be cleaned and donated (e.g., books, CDs, DVDs, clothes, kitchen ware); and 3) Trash. Also included donating reusable items to an organization of my choice - this includes delivery to the organization.

Jim was very helpful and knowledgeable, and also kind and considerate given the circumstances.
Also my brother’s apartment was borderline hoarder, so there was a lot lot to do.

Jim was really good at communicating all of the steps involved and responsive to my emails and many questions.

Finally, they completed tasks in a timely manner.

Most of all it was a relief to have the clean up in good hands, as it was hard for me emotionally to spend time in my brother’s apartment. This gave me time to focus on all the many other executor tasks.

I would highly recommend this service.

They turned a horrible situation into a worse one. Not only did we have to deal with water but we had to deal with the worst service we have ever received. They didn't show up when they said, they did not take care of our salvaged items, they committed to sending out to project managers when they knew they didn't do a good job. Those managers didn't show up instead sent two other workers that had no idea what was going on. We had to pay an outside person to finish removing wall they marked on that needed to be removed. They didn't finish the job and then tried to way over charge us leaving us to argue with insurance for several weeks. I would tell everyone to save yourself the hassle in already stressful situations and go with someone else.

We have worked with Prorestore DKI a few times and have found them to be wonderful to work with. The staff are most compassionate and care about what they do. They come into your home and turn a tragedy into a great experience. Thanks DKI - I'll keep trusting the triangle:)

After our house fire, Maria and her team came in and quickly evaluated what needed to be cleaned. They were very understanding about my husbands collectables, and cleaned them onsite for him! Which was a huge relief for him. They kept in contact through the entire process, and delivered our items clean and safe. I love Maria and her team!

We had water damage from 2nd floor plumbing, damaged the ceiling in the family room and dining area below including sections of the ceiling removed for plumbing repair. Job coordinator A.J. was able to assess exactly what repairs we needed and communicated with our insurance company. The job took 3 days and final product looks wonderful, you wouldn't know we had any damage.
I especially want to mention employee Juan who was here all 3 days of the work. On the final day he did everything including dry wall repair and painting. His professionalism, eye for detail and the quality of the work he was doing were impressive. ProRestore DKI are fortunate to have Juan as a member of their team.

Prorestore DKI was extremely easy to work with and very professional. I called and the same day I had a visit to address my needs. The owner of the company even came to help the employee give me a free estimate! Another company quoted me $250 for just the estimate. The work was thoroughly completed the next day. Highly recommend.

The mitigation team was great but the restoration team is awful. Every time they came to work they would have to take down my shower rod and when they left they just left the shower rod on the floor. They changed the color of paint without consent,it went from a nice light grey to an ugly cream color. They left black scuff marks on my doors. They left a lot of work undone. I called and asked if they were finished and was advised yes, they did send someone out to finish up a couple of days later but it wasn't completely finished. I sent an email with my concerns and never heard back. Don't waste your money on this business.

Just wanted to say how good and quick these guys are. I am in the plumbing field/ drain field by trade and I take pride in my customers and who I recommend to them. And I recommended dki to one of the jobs I was at, and they were so quick to get out there and get them taken care of. I can't remember who called me and said they were there within like 30 mins or so of when the customer called them. Wish I was still with my old employer to recommend them to more of my customers. But any company I go to I will make sure dki gets our business. Thanks again dki
