Fantastic Roofing Company out of West Des Moines, We hired them to replace the roof on our church in Indianola and they did a great job! They have also helped with some roof repairs at my dads house and have always been quick, reliable, and do great work!

Wolf Construction was great to work with! They repaired our roof following a very large hailstorm that damaged most, if not all, of the roofs in town. Therefore, it was difficult getting contractors to show up. They would write an estimate and then we'd never hear from them. We have a ranch style home and so no crazy peaks to navigate. Wolf Construction wrote an estimate on the roof, siding and gutters and had an estimate to me within a day or two. I expressed my concern regarding getting the roof repaired sooner than later and when I could get on their schedule and they scheduled our repairs in a week after inspecting our property!

They also went above and beyond by taking extra photos of the gutters, which insurance was not originally estimating in the cost of my original estimate and sent them to my insurance company. They pointed out to my insurance company how my gutters were more than cosmetic damages and needed to be replaced. I am getting my gutters replaced now thanks to Wolf Construction!

1/31/24 - Edited to add final review now that my home has had repairs completed. Wolf Roofing went above and beyond working with me to make sure that my home was put back in the condition it was prior to the hail storm on 5/23. There was some trim that I had noticed has some additional hail damage that was missed during the siding replacement. It took one email to Wolf to let them know about the trim and they were out that same week to finalize repairs.

I also appreciated how they understood the timeframe when working with insurance carriers, and how final repairs have to be completed before the customer receives the final insurance payment. Wolf Roofing never once sent me a final invoice asking where payment was.

Should we have the unfortunate luck of having another major weather event, I won't hesitate to contact Wolf Roofing to handle my home damages.

From the time I requested a re-roofing estimate to the completed job the staff and employees were very easy to work with, honest, and dependable. They provided many references and locations of past work. They explained the quality of their products and the install procedures. Their cost estimate was very competitive. During the installation the crew discovered some bad spots on my roof (really not a surprise) and after consultation with the onsite supervisor, the crew made the necessary repairs and still completed the work on time. Clean-up was very good. A supervisor dropped by to follow up a couple of days later to ensure my satisfaction. I am confident that I will not have to worry about my roof for a very long time. Wolf did not do my roof, but they had no problem using my electric to do the neighbor's roof. I understand that they had a job to do, but they should have been prepared. Apparently my dad, with dementia gave them permission...but they used they ran an extension cord across my yard and driveway and connected to my house ALL DAY to power their compressor and power tools...and offered us nothing for it.

They wouldn't know this, but we are on a payment arrangement so our bill is an extra $212 without our current bill, which we already are having issues paying, so we had been trying very hard to keep our bills down. Now especially since it's been really hot and we have had to run the AC, in addition we get to lay for the electric Wolf used on a job that they for sure got thousands of dollars for.

To me, this is unprofessional enough for me to leave a 1 star review. Next time, they should be prepared, and if they have to ask someone to use their power they should pay something for it. Nothing is free. I don't get anything in life for free. Pretty sad.

They were great, from the time I called in, getting someone out to the house to look at my roof, getting on the schedule and getting the job done. They made the process very easy! The crew that showed up to do the job were nice guys and the supervisor of the crew was great as well at keeping updated on how the job was going. They even did a great job at cleaning up after they were done. I would 100% recommend them to people looking for a new roof

Wolf Roofing did a great job replacing the roof on one our garages that hold several different Company Vehicles. I was most Impressed by how efficient they were. In less than 4 hours, their crew completely striped the roof of all shingles and sheeting and was finished including clean up.
They promised that they would clean up everything with no Nails, no Debry and everything hauled away. They certainly lived up to their promise. I think it looked better around the garage when they were done than it did before they started.
I would recommend Wolf roofing to everyone. They are AWESOME in my book

We hired Wolf to replace our roof. From the bid to the installation and follow-up it was a top-notch experience. We heard from them immediately after requesting an estimate. The estimator showed up when he said he would and we received a bid a day after they did they came out. The bid was very competitive! The installation took a little over day and we watched as the crew double checked their work and did a great job cleaning up. Overall, a great experience at a competitive cost.

My landlord hired this company to roof the house I’m renting. The workers plugged equipment into the exterior outlets of the house without asking and caused breakers to trip. They were then asked not to plug into exterior outlets, but they did anyway. They took buckets I had sitting on my deck that I use for my business without asking and used them to collect roofing debris, then threw my buckets away on their debris trailer. One of the workers kept going up on my deck and looking through the sliding door waving at my grandkids that were eating breakfast at the table, he also was sitting on my riding mower with his legs up over the steering wheel and his feet up on the hood. I had to run my daughter to a doctor appointment, when I came back several of the workers were sitting in my hammock that was stretched between two trees. They threw wood from the roof down onto my food trailer, then stepped from the roof of the house onto the roof of my food trailer. When questioned about standing on the roof of my trailer, they denied it until they were told we have a picture of them standing on it. My food trailer is now leaking. They placed a box filled with roofing materials/debris in my flower bed and mashed my flower bed. I had a cement statue of a flamingo my late husband had bought me and they broke it somehow. I have found roofing nails and staples in my driveway and inside my $8,000.00 Kubota generator. They left packaging hanging in the trees that blew there. When I called the company, the receptionist said, “We’ve used this crew for years and never had a problem with them. I’m sure if the owner of the house would have been available they would have asked before plugging into the exterior outlets.” I said, “The landlord don’t pay the electricity bill, I do.” She said, “Understood, understood.” I asked for the boss to call me so I could speak directly to him. This has been over a week ago and I still have not heard from anyone with this company. I think this job was sub-contracted to Villa roofing? Cause their work trucks were there as well. This review will also be left on Villa roofing website, but ultimately, wolf construction was the company in charge of this job. Huge thumbs down from me.

From a new whole house roof a few years ago to a new front porch roof & railing this fall, the Wolf Team—on site and in office—was easy to work with, on time, & professional in their inspection, quotes, installation, & cleanup! They welcomed questions and explained things so the process was easy to understand. Very happy with the results! Thank you! Highly recommend.

Waited 2.5 months for product that was never ordered.. would not recommend.

Disappointed in waiting for follow up repairs and in shortcuts in construction that led to further costs and additional work on our part.

Negative stars product was junk the installation guy didn't care that windows where in terrible condition. Treated my father awful 😢!!!!!!!

Great product, OK install process. We love our Hayfield window and door, but the final fit and finish from the install leaves some to be desired. Mostly small complaints dealing with the install process and a lack of attention to detail.

I had the pleasure of using Iowa Lumber for a home improvement job at my home. I found the service of James Lacona to go above and beyond expectations. He oversaw my job from beginning to completion and and was always available to get a status. I found the company to have great customer service and follow up. They did exactly what they said they would do with no suprises. I found them to be very competitively priced. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Mistake to buy replacement windows here. Salesman knew we wanted more energy efficiency than whar we currently had. What we got was much worse! Called to resolve. Installer was sent to apply a little caulk outside. Advised that was all that could be done. Room is very cold even with a fireplace.
