A very satisfied customer! It was time to replace our thirty year old heating/cooling system in our home including new duct work. A knowledgeable and professional representative from MJB quoted a very reasonable price for the new equipment and installation and offered a convenient shedule to get it done.
A well qualified crew showed up on time and preformed exceptional workmanship replacing the equipment. It was all done in one day and my wife and I enjoyed the comfort of the new system that evening!
As a rental owners, we've used this company before and have always been satisfied with their attention to detail and customer service. This local company has a stake in maintaining their reputation with the community and they do so very well!

Very professional and accommodating! There was no pressure to buy anything we didn’t need and they were very transparent and very insightful. Install went well and on time! New AC is working wonderfully and they even did a follow to make sure all was good. We also went ahead and installed heater as well. They made us feel confident in our purchase and we felt confident using MJB!

I had an issue with a pool heater and had a couple different HVAC companies out. They both said the unit, which was just purchased new last year and worked fine at the end of last season, had numerous costly issues which didn't really make sense. I asked for a reccomendation for a different company on FB and had numerous people reccomend MJB. Dale, the owner, came out and figured out a wire was crossed (from one of the previous guys who came out I'm sure) and the units works like new now. I was very impressed with the response time, the honesty, the great service AND the text I received a week later making sure everything was working great. Not I know why so many people reccomending them on Facebook. I can't reccomend highly enough.

I could not believe how fast we had a tech come out! I called a different company around 9:10 pm on a Saturday about our AC being out and they said they had 14 calls ahead of me, so they could not even guarantee service on Sunday. So I called MJB at 9:20. He said he could be over in a few minutes. He replaced our capacitor by 9:50 p.m. and had the AC running again! Service was insanely fast, friendly, and affordable! 11/10 would do business with MJB again. I am so impressed.

I have had the occasion of having MJB Heating and Cooling out several times. Today was no exception. They are professional. They are knowledgeable. And they are efficient.

Today Tom came out to deal with an issue I was having with my furnace at work and went right to work fixing the problem. Thanks Tom for all you did.

Our A/C stopped working on a Sunday and due to health issues, we needed to find a service company available on a Sunday. I called MJB and left a message on their emergency voice mail. Within 10 minutes Tom Buck called me to hear my description of the symptoms. He was just finishing an appointment in Wichita and would be on his way to my home on the south end of Derby. He arrived within 30 minutes! From start to finish he was the perfect example of what you could ever hope for in an HVAC tech and a human being. His evaluation of our system inside and out was as thorough as I could ever imagine and once he was done with the repair, our system is running as well or better than ever. Well worth the price for the evaluation, parts, and labor. Thank you again Tom for an awesome experience.

MJB Heating & Cooling was very quick to come to our rescue! Our heater quit working on a very cold Saturday evening, in negative temperatures. A technician was out within an hour, and quickly fixed the issue. Very pleased with the service they provide and knowledgeable technicians. I highly recommend them to anyone I know.

You should tell your boy to quit tailgating people at 85 mile an hour on 235 heading to 47th. He needs to remember that your company name is on the side of the van, on the front, and everywhere on it. Plus the van number 9 is on it as well. Have a great day!

Came out and installed my new furnace. Was very polite and affordable. They are very acknowledgeable and I highly recommend!

Our AC went out during the hottest days of the year, and they were out next day! We have been jerked around by a shoddy home warranty for years. We finally had a chance to pick our own repair people, and MJB came highly recommended. I can see why! I was impressed with the honesty and speed at which they fixed our AC unit!

Our AC froze up not only on a Sunday, but also a holiday. They called us first thing Monday morning and got us scheduled for that afternoon. Cody was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be using them for future work and maintenance.

Our commercial building had a lightening/electrical strike and damaged our 20 ton AC unit. No one could find us a new unit before the end of September. Imagining going all of August and September with no AC in Kansas and working inside near 100 degree temps is less than thrilling. Dale and the team at MJB called around and saved the day. They had us a new unit 5 weeks earlier than other could promise and I now have happy employees. The unit is amazingly quiet, super cold and so much more energy efficient. Thank you for being our super hero!

You cannot ask for a better company. Clark came out a year ago, sold the unit to us. Today, had an issue and the owner came out right away on a Saturday. You just cannot find that kind of customer service anymore. So glad we went with MJB when we were looking to buy a new unit! Thank you so much!

We had a new system installed and I was so impressed with how quick they were in come out and install it, in the middle of a hot summer day. They were so friendly & very professional. I had a small problem with a weird sound and they came over immediately and fixed it. Love them!

Our heater was not working properly during one of the recent cold spells. MJB Heating and Cooling worked me into their schedule and was able to get the heater fixed very promptly. I had them perform annual maintenance while they were here. I was very impressed by their knowledge, courtesy and attention to detail. I highly recommend.

Worked with and used MJB since Mike started the business in mid 80’s. Always had great service and great communication with their techs.Wife had set up appointment to have estimate to replace HVAC system fully well intending to use them. The day they were to give estimate, we were given a time frame of 3-5, at 4:20 she called to verify they were coming as we had to be somewhere at 5:30. The dispatcher was rude and condescending to my wife on phone, I got wind of it and instructed her to call and cancel them coming out at all. Plenty of reputable heating and air companies in area that would like our business. The tech,Tom called while she was explaining Dillon to forget we called. Tom was very courteous and understanding. Unfortunate as a lifelong Derby resident, I like to support local business when possible

The owner of MJB reached out to my wife the night of incident and offered an apology for how things had gone that day. I often forget sometimes everyone’s days aren’t easy. He wanted to give us an estimate for furnace and a/c replacement. Clark came out next day and was a great guy! After wife and owner talking and meeting Clark, we went with MJB and had system replaced. Installers were absolute fantastic as well. Great, stand up owner and great employees at MJB. Really appreciate the way it worked out. 5 stars and will do business again!

MJB has done duck work for us, fixed a gas leak, maintenance our heater and accessories. They were very professional thank you. Highly recommend

This is a great company. I don’t know why anyone would leave less than a 5 star. Their technicians are so polite and knowledgeable. They provide a great maintenance program to make sure your equipment is clean and dependable increasing the performance and the life of the units. They are great at follow up even when it’s something as silly as not fully understandI your thermostat. Just love theses guys! I would mention names but I might forget someone. Never a bad experience.… just saying

Yes, it has been hot, And my air conditioner, wasn’t keeping up. I called and asked if someone could check it out. The technician came out a couple days later and proceeded to tell me I was low on Freon . He said I had R22 which they no longer used, So he asked if I wanted a quote for a new unit. I said no thanks, I was charged $100. I called another company. In the end, I had the opportunity to meet the owner Dale Rotramel. He went in depth about how the government’s regulations have eliminated R22. I explained with rising costs everywhere I was not yet able to afford a new unit. He completely understood. I now have a better understanding of HVAC. Not to take anything away from the previous technician, but Dale is great at his profession as well as with people. I am not getting a new unit at this time, but I am a new customer, and whenever I do I’ll call MJB Heating & Cooling.
