Sometime during the night our motor or capacitor went out on the condensing unit. We called early in the morning on Sunday and was more than pleased that Kenny called me back and was able to get out within a couple of hours and fix our problem (it's 100+ again today outside). He was more than professional and efficient. There were absolutely no issues and the service was reasonably priced as well. Give them a call if you need any AC repairs.

I paid this company nearly $600 to replace a capacitor as an emergency.two weeks later the ac went out again. I opened it up myself to see what was going on. I found this mess of electrical tape, daisy chained capacitors (leaking) that looked used even though replaced a week ago. When I called the company to request a subsequent emergency visit , I was told they didn’t have the part and couldn’t come. When I explained Home Depot was open with the part, they had no response at all. Avoid.

Edit: I’m sorry that you think this is a professional way to handle this situation. Maybe take ownership for doing faulty work rather than being pompous about not being able to provide the same service level that you advertise.

The competing company I had come out, American Standard, identified the culprit of the problems: an unsupported capacitor configuration in combination with a loose connection made with electrical tape that nearly caused a fire inside the “16 year old” unit. Around 20” of the main lead to the unit had to be replaced, as well as several other down stream wires that were scorched. I’m sure the company will be passive aggressively “sorry” about this too.

I am buying a new home and wanted a quote for a replacement. Jake came out and not only checked to make sure my AC unit would get me by, but also checked the furnace and gave me some professional advice that would actually SAVE me money!! Very courteous and honest! He wanted me to be happy and when it comes time to replace that unit, I will be using Wichita Heating and Air! So impressed!

Absolutely amazing service and follow up. My issue was unique as it was one of those problems that never happens when they techs are there. Jake did everything he could to ensure what he could find was taken care of. When I called him after hours when the issue reoccurred he gave me directions on a few things to try, rather than leaving me high and dry! Sure enough it resolved my problem and I've been running great so far. Definitely a great company and a business I will use again for sure.

We recently setup our annual maintenance plan for our heating and air in our home and had our first Spring Service completed. The guys were super friendly and knowledgeable. They serviced both of our units and did a great job. When we called into their office we were put onto the schedule quickly and the techs arrived on-time and we also received a text when they were in route. It has been a great experience working with them.

These guys respond quickly. They are professional and good people to work with. They have came out on 3 different occasions and got my h vac back up and working super fast

I called Wichita Heating and Air to do a yearly service and check on both my furnace units. The Tech that came out looked like he was 14 years old. I was concerned that he was not old enough to be certified to work on my units. One furnace was fine, the other needed some replacement parts which they did not have. They sent an estimate of over $415 dollars to repair. I thought that was extremely high. I purchased the parts for under $50 bucks. I called another company who came out and serviced the unit and installed the new parts for $95 bucks.

To add insult to injury, the Tech partially parked his service van in my well maintained yard. It had snowed several days earlier, so the yard was very wet. It took me two hours to rehab the rut he left. It's still not right.

I called the company twice asking for the owner or a general manager and was told both times he was out. I left my name and number and have yet to receive a call.

I will not use this company again.

Saved out marriage! 72 hours of 90 degree heat and ONE of us was walking on eggs. Not going to name namesp. Called with our problem and they were here within 2 hours and fixed within another hour. I know who to call next time. Thanks gentlemen.

We had a great experience. Our heater stopped working on a Sunday and was fixed the same evening. We have done business with Wichita Heating and Cooling in the past and have always been very satisfied. We would recommend them to anyone in need of heating and air service.

Wichita Heating and Air went above and beyond helping me deal with a frustrating home warranty situation with my broken AC. This included submitting stuff to the warranty even after they were paid. Their communication was also top notch and heard me out even when they had reservations about the warranty situation.

They were available next day, and fixed my problem and got us running again within the visit. I will definitely be using them in the future!

We had a terrible experience yesterday with another company who came out spent 2 hours trying to figure out what was wrong couldn't figure it out then charged us $350 with a follow up email for $2500 to fix the "problem" that they couldn't find. So I called Wichita heating and air that same day after 5 pm for a non emergency call and they called me back within 5 minutes. The technician was super friendly on the phone took all of my information down and set an appointment for 11am the next day. I received a call around 9am saying they were headed my way. The technician Kenny was super friendly, professional and VERY efficient! He had the problem fixed and I was back to work by 11am! AND they didn't charge me an arm and a leg like the last company did! I highly highly recommend this company for the friendly efficient service they provide. Don't make the same mistake I did, call them the first time!! Thank you Wichita heating and air!

An appliance repair guy came to fix my dryer and found a leak on my gas line. I called Enter Wichita Heating and Air. They were amazing! They replaced some parts and leak tested. Thank you Wichita Heating and Air for such a fast response.

Called on a Sunday at 8:30 and they came out within an hour to diagnose the problem and get the heat back on. Had to order a part and kept me updated on when it would be in to come get my heat working to its full capacity. I would highly recommend!

Tech arrived early, found the problem quickly and they were very reasonable and accommodating with payments to get us fixed quickly. Couldn't be happier very honest and direct about what was going on and what was needed which is just what we needed.

This is the 2nd ac unit Wichita Heating and Air has installed for me along with maintaining my old systems for years. The crews are great, friendly and maintain a clean working environment.
