Had David and his crew install new quartz in our custom kitchen today. We went to the stone yard and picked out the exact slab we wanted. His price was almost 50% less than the stone installer we previously used. The service was excellent with great communication. This is the second kitchen Affordable Granite and Quartz has done for us.

My kitchen and bathrooms had new counters. These guys did a great job. The job was done fast and I had no mess to deal with. I live my new counters

As an update to my first review, it has now been over a year since the first review and we have received NO RESPONSE from Thermal King regarding the shoddy installation of our windows.

I did an entire house and sliding doors replacement. It was my entire severance from losing a job because I wanted to decrease utility cost, which there was none noticeable. i was surprised at the poor installation quality. For the cost, I expected all leaks around the windows to be stopped. They weren't. After a year, one window in my bedroom would not close completely. They came out once and said it was an installation issue. They referred me around the horn and the same guy called me back to say he had already reviewed the window and it wasn't a window issue. So, I was stuck with a window that would not close 1/2".

The sliding door they installed in the basement was so heavy, we could barely open it. By the end of my time in that house, I would go upstairs and out rather than fight with that heavy door.

I would NEVER recommend this company. They installed windows, yes, but they did not do what was necessary to stop all leaking around the windows or to resolve a window that would not completely close, irregardless of a 50 year warranty.

I sold the house after 6 years. I never saw any savings on utilities, never felt it any warmer in winter or cooler in summer. Wasted a lot of money for what seems to have been an unnecessary purchase for my home. Having a window that will not close or a door too heavy to open only exacerbated my opinion.

We just had our new Thermal King windows installed and love them. The installers were done in one day! From start to finish the customer service was top notch!

I absolutely love this company and their most professional staff! We ordered the cabinets several months ago and they held them till we were ready! They met me twice and a year later they remember me and my dog! The cabinets are absolutely stunning! I have the acrylic finish multiple colors! Just beautiful! I recommend this company to anyone looking to have a professional and positive experience while renovating their home! Love, Love, Love!!

RUN. They make it impossible to cancel a scheduled appointment without guilt tripping you. Way too pushy, which is a major red flag.

I purchased 10 windows, front door, sliding door, and two garage doors. Thermal king was very prompt in their service. My shower pipes used to freeze, but I have not had a problem with the new windows and front door. And the washing machine's water line would freeze again the new windows no problem. I would recommend Thermal king to my friends and family. The front door is amazing and the sliding door looks great. It is so much better than what we had before.

Biggest POS developer in KC. Raised our HOA dues in the advise of more POS advisors. Poor money management. DO NOT buy a property developed by Rodrock or managed by First Residential. They both screw you around not to mention they day they take bids for all their services of their properties. This is a lie. They only get bids from their family or friends. Ids include more than one company for services. If not this is called a bill. This is what they do with the landscaping. Epic gets all their business. So they are allowed to go over budget every year and the homeowners have to make up that difference by raising dues 32% in an inflation time.

My wife and I replaced 20+ windows on our home. The original windows were drafty and our gas/electric bill was extreme depending on the season. We went with Thermal King and couldn't be happier. I truly feel like we got a higher efficiency window than others, and they look great. The installation crew worked extremely hard and they were so careful in their work. They paid attention to small detail and made sure that they were installed correctly. There were a few small issues with some of the windows from manufacturing and installation, but they were quick to fix and made everything right. After the corrections, I found one more minor issue, and they were out in a couple of days and got it resolved.

We are very pleased with these windows and can already tell a difference in our heating/cooling and are excited to see the savings we have on our utility bills!

This company has made it impossible to use their extensive guarantee as advertised. Their staff is remote and follow a script. I was transferred to a repair department that never answered. These windows were very expensive and I paid the cost to get a good product WITH GOOD CUSTOMER CARE! Save money!!!

We had 11 windows and a patio door installed. Most work fine, but we've had an issue with once since installation. When we called them out the first time to look at it, we were told that it wasn't closing properly because "we were trying to shut it too forcefully." When we called about a year later because the issue wasn't resolved, we were told that the hole in which the window was placed wasn't square or level. I have no idea how the technicians didn't notice during installation. I've been trying to reach the service department to get someone out to finish putting the trim back on that window and I cant reach anybody. It is next to impossible to reach this company for service. The number on their website isn't working, the number listed on Google routes you to Andersen not Renewal by Andersen, and when I'm transferred to Renewal by the Andersen people, the phone keeps getting disconnected. This is extremely frustrating.

Thermal King replaced our front door with a much needed and much upgraded beautiful design. It took longer than expected but the end result is absolutely gorgeous.

If you need windows in your home I highly recommend Zen Windows. They did a phenomenal job. Every step from receiving a quote to installation was easy and James was never pushy and laid out all of the options. We choose a coating that reduces the UV inside the house and it is noticeably cooler. The installers were fast, curtious, and cleaned and vacuumed when they were done everyday. We did a lot of research and I am so glad we chose zen.

We designed and purchased a very expensive front door. Naturally it took time to custom make the door. When it came, part of the housing was painted a different color. It turned out that the company no longer makes that surrounding housing or casing in the same color as the door! The salesperson didn't know this and sold us something that couldn't be produced. They sent a painter another day to repaint the casing, but of course it will not last the same as it would have if the paint had been put on at the factory.

They we had to have return technician visits to get the locks to work. When we bought some Andersen windows we discovered that the warranty doesn't cover the screens, which didn't even last a year. I called about another question, left a voicemail message and got no respons.

Andersen is too expensive for the poor quality of customer service.

This company is full deception. They say the windows will be done the next day. That is false you have three days to cancel the order. They want your money then what?

Just got our new windows installed couldn't be more happy with the craftsmanship of the windows from Thermal King. Our windows came in early the installation was completed 2 days later. The installation crew did an outstanding job we highly recommend this company!

Very expensive windows. Twice the price of anyone else. Thought I paid extra for no problems. But the flashing around about 40% of the windows didn't even last 1 year. Customer service said they might send someone 4 months from now to look at it.

I am amending my original two star review. I received a call from the sales manager the next day. He was very apologetic that what I experienced is not the way they do business and I get it, everyone, even salespeople have an off day sometimes. Right on the phone he gave me a good review of the program being offered and the pricing and asked for another chance to earn my business. I will admit, I was impressed that they even followed up given I still have not made a purchase yet. Would have been very easy for them to just move on but speaks well of the company that they are willing to take time and make things right, even in the sales process for a potential sale.

Terrible customer service and high pressure sales. I am in the market for a replacement patio door so I had them come out. I was a shocked at the price tag. I told them I was gathering some other quotes and it would be about a month before I was ready.

About a week later they contacted me about a "show home" program with pricing too good to be true. I agreed to have them come out again to talk about it, but it seemed a bit off because I am on a cul-de-sac. The salesman wanted a commitment to buy BEFORE he would share any pricing. He tried the "tonight only" approach with me and kept pushing and I finally had to say you are not leaving with a check tonight. At that point he left.

It was just a high pressure sales pitch for overpriced windows. We had some specific questions which were never answered, and instead he wasted over an hour showing us a heat lamp and how triple pane windows work (which we were already aware). He spent almost 3 hours at our home, and again we didn't make any progress getting information for the project we wanted completed. He was instantly annoyed when we didn't want to commit to 10k upfront and not take a day to consider our options. Pretty scummy if you ask me. I always take time to consider large financial purchases, and that should be anticipated. I'm glad we decided to go with another company, as one of our neighbors showed us the low quality install they received.

Outstanding company to work with.
We purchased windows and doors from Thermal King about 10 years ago. We chose the triple pane so replacing all the windows and doors lowered our heating and cooling about 25%. They are a great product. We had one window that had to be replaced twice and another one is getting replaced today. We have never had a problem with replacements. Recently one of our sliding doors cracked like a windshield on a really cold day. The maintenance guy came out the same day we called and we had a new door within a couple of days. Their product has a lifetime warranty so there was NO cost, no questions, nothing. I have to say this company's customer service is impeccable.
