Probably the best electrical supply houses in KC. They are local, family owned business. I have purchased electric supplies though them for 24 years. You are always greated with a smile and are thanked for your business. They also have a lot of uncommon electrical items on hand. Gary is always willing to answer an elecrical question. Its worth the drive to Lenexa!

Gary, Sean, and Chris are always pleasant to deal with, and customer service is second to none. They always seem to have what I need, even the hard to find stuff. They carry many HVAC specific electrical parts that most other supply houses don't stock. Even with the supply chain issues that seem to be the norm in the post-covid world, Interstate always seems to have what I need. I would recommend this place for everything electrical!

Ordered a product that was “in stock”. Then received an email saying it had to be ordered from the manufacturer and would be 10 days. I tried to cancel the order twice with no response, as I needed it for work sooner than that. 3 weeks later the item showed up. Called and finally got someone who said they will take it back, but the email I received after the call said I would not be credited back the shipping cost, there is a restocking fee, and on top of that I have to pay to ship it back. Will never use this company again. Would suggest staying away from their online store.

Excellent helpful service here. I was in town for a special project for work and needed an unusual plug to make it work. Employee at the counter identified it for me but found the couldn't get it the same day; he then called someone he knew at a different chain and found it was available there. This saved me a full day of waiting compared to another retailer who also didn't have it.
