Window Installation reviews in Lenexa, Kansas

Window World had great affordable options for our home and the installation crew was amazing. Jack set us up with quick efficient service and made the process easy. With the financing options you can’t beat Window World. We are so happy with the look and efficiency of our new windows.

Having just moved to Kansas from Massachusetts we have bought an older home and it needed all windows and its sliding glass door replaced. We called multiple companies and sat through 4 different presentations. We could not believe the difference in price we received by each company for the same work!!! Our last presentation was with window world who sent out Dion Tyler to meet with my wife and I.
Tyler’s approach was so different than the other presentations we saw, there was no bashing of other competitors which all 3 prior presentations did endlessly, no failed science experiments and he valued our time. Some other presenters would try and try to get you to sign on the spot with such a big purchase we wanted as much info as we could get prior to committing. Window World and Mr Tyler did none of the above, he was a straight shooter , gave us information we needed and some great suggestions on things we could improve etc. . Mr Tyler was major reasons we decided on Window World, in addition their bid was over 10k lower than any other bid for same work. There was no pressure, no follow up calls the next day when we said we needed time to process information etc.
We called Mr Tyler back after about a week and we signed all documents and received 0 % financing for 3 years which none of the competitors offered. Mr Tyler explained the process that it would be 6-12 weeks and a crew would come out and try to do all in one day, which was another huge selling point of not having home in chaos for days.
Received a call 3 weeks after saying they had an opening the following Monday. What a great surprise everything would be in before Thanksgiving and winter. The told us a crew of 5 would be out at 10 and will be finished in 5 hours. Knowing how these things go with construction we took it with a grain of salt.
On the scheduled day we got a call asking if they could come at 9 instead of 10 etc etc. the arrived and hour early and jumped into the daunting task ahead. We were amazed at how well this crew worked together they weee so efficient and it appeared they were in perfect sync . I spoke to one of the gentlemen paying him a compliment but I wanted to find out how they became so efficient etc. he explained to me that this crew of 5 had been working together as a crew for 10 years together. I thought that by itself was amazing as u rarely see a crew of folks stay together that long in that type of industry.
They finished the job in 5 hours and that included meticulous cleanup. These gentlemen were great and so professional.
We are so thrilled with the windows and already notice a huge difference in our home with retaining heat etc.. I have to commend Window World’s whole process! The sales and presentation was what hooked us as it informative, straight forward and about what window world had to offer, not once badmouthing any other company etc. The crew and how everything went as planned getting done in 5 hours!! Meticulous cleanup !! Professional!! All of the attributes are what made us want to take this step and praise the whole process from sales to installation went off without any issues. I hope window world values these employees as they represent and are the best sales they could have. We would recommend Window World to anyone out shopping for new window or doors!!! We are so glad we did…
Thank you so much Dion and entire installation crew!!!

The Window World installation guys were an exceptional, motivated, and professional team. I thought that replacing ten windows would take all day but this group was done in no time! Kudos to them on their hard-working effort.

I had a great experience, start to finish, with Window World.
Mysteriously, one of the tall windows on our front porch shattered. We had a dozen or so companies come out to give us repair estimates. Some of the companies had actually previously done replacement windows in our home. Window World had never been to our house. I had seen their billboard advertisements and heard their commercials on the radio (you know that they're the official windows sponsor of the Kansas City Chiefs). Their representatives that came out presented their products in much of the same way as their competitors, with a few distinct differences. Number one, the pitch was extremely low pressure. The representative leaned into the company's reputation and the quality of the products offered, as opposed to using sales pressure as a tactic. I have to say, it was extremely refreshing! My partner and I are very well versed on windows at this point, and it was obvious that the representative quickly picked up on that fact. They did not repeat the same sales pitch we'd heard so many times, but instead asked what was important to us and covered those areas. We were left with a very good impression, and it obviously helped us to make the decision to choose their quote.
The windows were ready when promised, however, Window World was able to adjust the installation date to accommodate a trip out of town we had to make in an emergency.
Installation was exemplary. We've had two dozen windows replaced in our home, and this was smoothest one we've had so far. The installation team was respectful of our property, they cleaned up all work areas, and the results FAR exceeded our expectations.
I have no problem giving Window World my highest recommendation, and we will definitely be in touch with Window World when the time comes to replace the final four windows we have yet to replace in our home. -
The crew putting in my windows did a great job! They were very respectful of my house and took care around my kids things, they were very professional and the foreman was great at answering my questions. Nice crew, great work! Would recommend!!

Easy to leave a great review when the company delivers better than what they promised. Clean experience from sale to install ahead of schedule. We love the windows and appreciate the install crew cleaning everything up. Already recommended WW to 2 others. Thanks!

The crew was punctual, professional & quick. Replaced 13 windows in about 5 hours. They look great. There was a small issue with the "no guarantee install by end of year" clause that apparently should've been communicated at time of signing but was not but the sales person. It didn't change anything because I didn't expect install before end of year anyway. No issues thus far.

Everything went smoothly and timely from quotation to installation. A company that you can trust for the quality of the windows as well as costumer services. The technicians worked very carefully inside and outside of my house with a high professionalism and knowledge about window installation. The final product looks amazing and now finally I don’t have air drift in the house and winter weather is not more an issue.

Price was lower than all competitors so we were a bit skeptical but installation went very smoothly and they even replaced a trim piece on back window. They showed up early and crew of 3 got to work and I offered lunch but they worked straight thru til they finished then ate some food I prepared. Windows all operate well have some stiffness making sure the sliders are in proper position to lock the system is new and to be expected. As far as install and price and professionalism I definitely recommend Window World also their rep was very professional and polite no hard sell. So they also have a good warranty but now it’s just wait and see on durability. I think we made a great choice so far. Thanks again Regards Todd Ward

Our house looks like a new house! We had Window World install siding and new windows in our older two story home. Big project and our utility bills have already dropped. Thank you to Jack for the repeat visits to sell and measure more windows. Overall great experience! Some before and after pictures below.

My experience with the salesman was fine. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and didn't feel super pushy. However; their prices are absolutely absurd. The quote we got from them--for replacing 2 doors--was 34k!
We ended up getting more quotes as we felt this was absolutely too much to spend on a front door and back door. Other quotes we received did not even come CLOSE to the price they were trying to charge us. We ended up getting the work done for 6k!!
Lastly, when I reached out to our salesman, informing them we were probably going to go with a different company and even told them of the other quotes we received I got no reply, no secondary offer, nothing. Do your research, get more than one quote!Official response from representative 11.05.2026 13:33Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you had a positive experience with our salesperson and appreciated their knowledge and professionalism. We understand that pricing is an important part of any home improvement decision, and we always encourage homeowners to compare options so they can choose what best fits their needs and budget. Our quotes reflect the specific products, materials, installation methods, warranties, and overall scope of work we provide, which can vary significantly… -
Gardner, Kansas. 3pm today. I have a large, visible "NO SOLICITING" sign right above the door bell, yet TWO of your employees insisted on ringing it anyway (AND knocking). I confronted them about it, pointed out the sign AGAIN (this wasn't the 1st time you had door to door sales people trying to solicit business from me) and AGAIN I asked them if they saw the sign (yes) and if they understood what it meant (yes) but they willfully did it, anyway. WHY would I want to do business with anyone like that? If you're going to be rude and disrespectful of people and blatantly ignore NO SOLICITING signs, I have zero interest in your company. BTW: It goes against Gardner city code and you could be fined for ignoring the signs. Maybe a fine is exactly what you all need to STOP doing it?!? Train your employees better!
Official response from representative 14.04.2026 21:04Thank you for your feedback — we truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the frustration this experience caused. We take “No Soliciting” signage seriously, and this is not the experience we want anyone to have with our team. To clarify, our representatives in the area are not selling products door-to-door. Because we have completed work in your neighborhood, they are there to introduce our company and offer homeowners the opportunity to schedule a free co… -
Jeff and I had Renewal by Anderson new front door, 2 sliders, and all windows on East and west side of house replaced. Amazing the house is quieter and so much warmer. The team of Billy Morris, Mike Bradley, Nikolas Zamora, Connor Rivis, Hunter Brandon, Christian Ramirez, and Elmer Ramirez. Each of theses people made sure the job went very smoothly and was done correctly. The cost might be higher than other windows but well worth the cost for the product we got. Thank you for your work! Debra
Official response from representative 18.03.2026 13:23Debra M., thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Renewal by Andersen of Kansas City! -
I had the best sales rep, Kyle Hankins. He was knowledgeable and emotionally intelligent. He was a no-pressure salesman. Unfortunately, I did not end up buying windows from Renewal by Anderson because I needed to prioritize other projects. However, I am saving Kyle's contact because he's the person I'd want to work with when I'm ready to purchase quality windows.

I made an appointment online, spoke for half an hour on the phone confirming it and giving further details, then gave up an afternoon of work for both myself and my wife. The consultant was a no-show. I had to call to see what happened. It was a "Family emergency" but they never texted ... and then they said they wouldn't do the work unless I ripped out new windows I just had installed. Don't waste your time!

This company uses predatory and deceptive sales practices. I strongly suggest getting multiple estimates. Their product is not superior to others, and the cost is 3 to 4 times more. They target people who don't know any better. I was victim to this, and am leaving this review to try and protect other consumers from being abused in this way. I also recommend reading Consumer Reports article by Tobie Stanger published March 2024. It's very informative about this company and also helpful regarding protecting yourself and your bank account. Wishing you luck!

PREDATORY! My grandparents moved into thier new house that had premium renewal by anderson windows that were 17 years old with a 20 year warranty. Guess who came knocking 3 years later? They were talked into replacing half the windows because "the ones facing the sun were needing replaced" but "the others were fine" they paid 25k for the exact same windows you couldn't even tell which ones were replaced. Then one year later the same guy came knocking. Out of the kindness of his heart he just wanted to let them know that renewal by anderson was running a sale for 8 windows, omg the exact number that had yet to be replaced!? Even though he said a year earlier they were fine but what a deal right!? Another 20k later and now they have essentially spent 45k to replace thier perfectly fine anderson windows with new identical perfectly fine anderson windows! BUT they did get a sweet bottle of wine and another 20 years worth of endless spam mail. DO NOT FALL FOR THEM. Are they good windows, yes, are they worth the 35-40% markup over other reputable dealers? No they are not. Just look at how many similiar bad reviews they have. Unfortunately most older folks wont see these reviews. They only see the fake spam mailings made to look like hand written quotes and the smiling door to door salesmen willing to lock in a lower price only if they agree to the contract today. Is it legal? Yes. Is it ethical? No it is not. Its wrong.

Had windows done scrap years ago, they did an awesome job.
Just had them do the siding and while they did do an excellent job replacing tyne gutters was never the plan. They completely removed and disposed of the gutters due to a mistake by the siding crew and somehow I had to pay for the gutters to be replaced.
If they had manned up and paid for there mistake it would be a 5 star review. My having to spend additional unplanned on funds for their screw up is why it's only 3 stars. -
I had new windows installed about 12-13 years ago. They work as well as the first day installed.
My overall experience was Flawless experience.
Sales presented - no high pressure
A project manager - managed the one day installation of 8 windows and a patio door. The painter came day 2. He was very good.
Great windows - great experienceOfficial response from representative 02.10.2025 16:01Collis B., we are so happy to read such a great review about RbA of Kansas City, KS (734)! -
Horrible experience with Renewal by Anderson. We cancelled our contract (which we regretted signing due to high pressure sales tactics) within the 3 day time period and now we are being harassed by the sales person. He has been sending multiple texts and emails basically saying that we are unintelligent and uninformed. Very unprofessional, bullying behavior. I do not recommend this company at all - don't invite these people into your home. We regret even considering them to replace our windows.

I was high pressured into buying windows after telling the salesman no several times. I bought 5 windows and when the final charges were tallied I was charged almost $2,000 per window with an interest of Now I have stains from the rain and melting snow running down and staining my outside wall, obviously the window frames weren't sealed correctly. Plus the windows only have 1 lock on them. Last year, 2024, I bought 4 windows from Window Nation and they not only have double locks on each window, they cost me a little over $1,100 each with a no interest loan. I feel like I was lied to by the Renewal by Andersen, Overland Park, KS , salesman because he told me that the quote he gave me was only good that night and if I didn't buy then that the price would go up a bunch. I later heard their ads on TV and the company guarantees their quote for 1 year, they did that then too, I was just lied to to high pressure me into that sell. I am not happy at all with this company nor their work.
