Staff is very helpful. Bringing in pictures helps immensely. The quality of the products they sell are unmatched. You're going to pay more than you would at a big box store, but you're paying for far more superior products. Money well spent in my opinion.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff! I love shopping here. I've really only bought their lawn care products, but would like to get more into their flowers and trees in the future. It's not cheap... but I feel like I'm getting better products and I'm happy to pay for the higher level or service I receive!

Great experience with GrassPad (Olathe). I'm a new homeowner and went to them to help me figure out overseeding. I did have to go back a couple of times to get my correct set of three-step products, but that was just a communication issue with the folks loading the product and wasn't a big deal. They got everything corrected once I went back a couple of times. Staff is very knowledgeable and professional. My overseeding was a big success, and I'm looking forward to continuing to use them to liven up my yard!

Great service. Got just what I needed. Cheaper than the big box stores.

We have three big dogs, 12 very busy paws that are tough on the yard. Two years ago we had dirt / mud and a lot of damage. Grass Pad to the rescue! Macho Mix + the Idiot Proof program did the trick, now it doesn't even look like we have dogs let alone big, active dogs. Thank you Grass Pad!

Went here for the first time to the Olathe location. A person named Daniel helped us. Some of the best customer service we have ever received. He was outstanding. Knowledgeable, professional, knew his products very well, was very helpful in ideas of where to plant and what to plant. Very patient with us and was simply outstanding. Highly recommend Grass Pad and if you go there ask for Daniel, you will be very happy with him. Were definitely coming back next spring.

The staff was so friendly and the other customers were just as friendly. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the nursery and guided all the way through my trip. The young gentleman who loaded my car with the sod that I bought was the best. Checking out with easy and the lady behind the counter was the sweetest thing.The sod I bought was heatwave grass. According to the nice gentleman who answered my questions when I walked in, it was just cut today which I love because that will make the transition from the nursery to it's forever home much easier. It was in very good condition with only a few tears and that sweet kid loading my car through an extra roll that was a little messed up for good measure. It was a good thickness with no brown patches. I brought it home and immediately installed it. Because it was fresh it was very easy to work with and to cut where needed. The only sadness I have is that when I called to head to find out what types of grass they had that they didn't have buffalo grass, which is the slowest shortest growing grass that will grow here in Kansas and is intended for lazy people like me. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for sod, grass seed and lawn supplies.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, stocked with lots of options, and their "idiot proof" programs make everything really easy with a very nice informative pamphlet to go with it. I drive out of my way to come here

A hair pricier then other options, but in spring/summer they have a huge variety and it's nice to be able to see the plants you are buying instead of having something shipped. Knowledgeable, helpful staff and my plants always turn out healthy!

Been going to Grass Pad for years for all my fertilizer needs. Simply follow the uncle's pamplet and in two seasons you'll have one of the best yards around. The fertilizer and grass seed are expensive, but well worth the money. I highly, recommend the "Macho Mix" grass seed for the greater Kansas City area. Very impressed with their selection of weed killer and fertilizer.

This place is perfect for anyone looking to improve their lawn. Super knowledgeable staff, easy-to-understand planting/care plans (they're idiot-proof!), competitive prices, and high-quality seed and materials. Definitely check this place out versus the big-box stores. Shout out to Roy for his help last weekend; he set us up with everything we needed to re-seed our lawn, explained the differences in grass types and how best to care for them, and didn't try to over-sell us on anything we didn't need. We'll be Grass Pad customers for years to come!

I’m not an outdoor person, but this place makes me feel like I can do a a lot of outdoor things. Their staff is always kind of friendly. I appreciate how they have people to load in heavy items into your car. I am using their program and have bought all the things I need and now I’m saving hundreds of dollars in lawn care service by doing it myself if you haven’t visited, I highly recommend it. You can ask a lot of great questions about your lawn and you will get lots of good insights. Happy gardening.

Amazing experience every-time time I come here. They were able to point me in the right direction from the start in getting the right chemicals to kill my weeds and crabgrass. I’ve followed their advice every step of the way and the results speak for themselves only two weeks after overseeding my lawn. The seeds and fertilizer are very high quality (TTTF in my case) so you will pay more than you would for the stuff you get at the big box stores; however it’s still a better value because there is no filler. They have a great selection of nice plants in their nursery as well!

This Home Depot is the worst one in town. Never anyone around to help and their employees know nothing. We were recently there and asked an employee for help in getting a Christmas tree and he literally said "I don't know" and walked off, it pained him to do his job. Pathetic.
