KC Rug Cleaning did a great job on a Persian rug that smelled pretty bad after I tried to clean it myself. (Turns out I couldn't get it dry enough but it looks much brighter now.) So I took two smaller rugs that had been in storage for many years. Both came out great but the smallest one still had a couple of discolored spots and they decided not to charge me for it. I appreciate the caring attention to detail and very good communication.

When we moved to a new apartment, a friend gifted us a very large, very beautiful, very old oriental rug which unfortunately had sustained a lot of damage over the years (chunks missing from two corners, moth holes along the border, dirty, etc, etc). We called Kansas City Rug, Travis replied immediately, came to our home and gave us three options for repair: 1)Pack and ship to Turkey for reweaving which would take 1-2 years and cost $10-15K+ 2)trim the rug down and machine serge with attachment of new fringe or 3)trim the rug and hand serge the borders with recreation of the fringe from the existing fibers. We went with #3.

This company is amazing. They came to our apartment, moved our furniture and took the rug away. It took a few months to do all of the cleaning and repair (Travis had told us upfront that it would take that long), but wow!! It came back looking like a new rug. Communication was excellent and everyone we encountered was very professional. I'm very happy knowing they're around and I'm very happy to have this beautiful rug in my living room

I took three rugs to a cleaner in Waldo that I was afraid ruined them. The fringe on all the rugs had sticky dirty residue left in them and looked ten-times worse than before I took them to be cleaned. I was really shocked to get them back unusable and the cleaner refused to acknowledge that they didn’t do a good job.
Before I even left their parking lot, I Googled KC Rug Cleaning and Travis assured me that they would likely be able to salvage my rugs. I drove directly to Olathe to drop them off.
Not only did KC Rug Cleaning save my rugs, they looked fantastic and were 20% less expensive than Accents in Waldo.
Travis was really informative about the cleaning process and the equipment they use. It is obvious that he has extensive knowledge about various types of rugs, cleaning, and repair techniques.

I couldn’t recommend a business more. The team has some of the best customer service I’ve seen and took such great care of my rug. I purchased a rug second hand and wanted to be sure it was clean before it came into my home. Not only did I know it was clean but it was an incredible transformation. Yellow spots, pink spots, all gone. If you need someone to trust with a special rug, this is the place.

These guys are great! We had an extra large wool rug (9x12) that had been stored in a basement for over three years. It was already filthy when we put it down there, but it got even worse as more dust settled into it. Then a brief water leak occurred, getting a portion of the rug wet. I didn’t realize the damage that had happened from the water until I unrolled it over a year later. When I reached out to KC Rug Cleaning, Travis got back to me right away. After looking at some pictures and getting more info, he felt confident the team could get it clean again. Well, they absolutely knocked it out of the park. It is 95% better, almost looking new again. The rug is now in the living room. How ridiculous that we waited this long to take care of it. We highly recommend these guys! We had a rug that was too large for us to take somewhere. We did not want to have the rug cleaned in place since it is over hardwood floors. Using KC Rug Cleaning and Repair was a great option for us. They worked with us on a schedule for them to come out and pick up the rug, even moving some of our furniture. Then they called us when the rug was cleaned and arranged a delivery time. They reinstalled the cleaned rug and replaced our furniture back on it. The rug looked much cleaner and no longer had a musty smell. We would use them again.

I had three rugs cleaned a few months ago and I had five more cleaned in November. KC Rug Cleaning offers pick up and delivery which was a tremendous benefit as I had several large rugs that I would not be able to transport. Great customer service, great communication and excellent cleaning. They provide a quote prior to service so you know exactly what the cost will be. Highly recommend this rug cleaning service. I will continue to use them.

Kansas City Rug Cleaning and Repair made my runners so clean and revitalized them. They look amazing! In addition, I purchased pads which have made the runners more comfortable to walk on and has kept them in place. I was delighted with my experience using this company. Their customer service was exceptional.

Once again, excellent service and our old worn out carpet got a nice facelift. I totally recommend this company....they really go the extra mile for their customers!
