We are beyond thrilled with our landscaping and lighting projects! Dave and his team are professional and great to work with. We are having Dave do additional lighting for our house. We highly recommend his company!

We called multiple companies to get a quote and Dave at Platinum Outdoor Concepts was by far the most professional and responsive. He was able give feedback and ideas that improved our project based on his experience and knowledge and he was flexible in having to do most communication via email and phone due to the quarantine. The pricing was very reasonable and competitive and the materials and products used are high quality and put together well. Dave had estimated it would take over a week to be able to start on our project but we were happily surprised when he called and said they'd be available earlier. Once the crew started they worked quickly and knocked out the entire project in just two afternoons. The end result is a garden we are proud of and major improvement to the curb appeal of our home. We would definitely recommend and work with Dave at Platinum Outdoor Concepts again.

Dave was great to work with. We had a lot of timely communication before and during the project. His crew built a retaining wall on the front/side of our house and installed landscape lighting. They worked hard and took care of business. We are very happy with the results and would recommend Platinum Outdoor Concepts.

We had an old wood retaining wall replaced with stone, planted some gorgeous new landscape, and added LED lighting around our house. Platinum Outdoor paid special attention to detail and went above and beyond to create a beautiful updated look. We couldn't be happier with the results! They torn down an old deck and replaced with a new patio and fire pit. Good work done in a couple weeks. Would use them again.

Great service and product. I needed a very small firepit and my gate repaired. It is difficult to find someone that wants to do small jobs. I love my firepit and now do not worry about my dogs escaping. I even got firewood delivered and stacked.

Worked with Dave at Platinum Outdoor Concepts and was extremely disappointed in what I was promised, vs what I paid for and got.
I was told I would be so happy with his work, only to have him midway through the job say he needed more money for bricks that he underbid. He didn’t get enough and charged me more for more blocks. He was very scammy on the contract, so if you hire him, read it well and make sure everything he promises is on the contract. I didn’t check it carefully, and he didn’t do anything he told me he would do in person.
He took the job in winter and charged me $4k to build a wall (in photo attached). He lied and said the store was out of the plants he was to get me, but when I called around no one had them bc it was winter and they get sent back for winter, so they were never available to begin with. He assured me he would be back in spring to give me what I paid for. When I followed up in spring, he asked me for a copy of the contract (plants were not on the contract) and then ghosted me after I provided the screenshots of his promises he would be back (also attached).
The actual work they did was just so so. Not great, not awful. They worked from the outside in, so the brick next to porch looks kinda weird, but it’s ok. He assured me he would take care of the area by my mailbox, but went back on that as well and it was untouched.
He is not honest in his business practice and claims he was going above and beyond by finding some basic light colored brick, which would be pretty standard in landscaping-and I wasn’t asking for anything special, just light colored brick. The he outcome is fine, but nothing special and definitely did not get what I was promised and what I paid for.
My biggest mistake was paying for the job before it was completed, per Dave’s request. I had to go into the office that day and he wanted payment before I left. I was dumb enough to trust the guy. Don’t make my mistakes and I’d skip this guy and look for someone who actually treats their customers right and doesn’t screw them over. I paid $4k for some basic blocks and a basic landscaping job that didn’t cover anything he promised.

Platinum Outdoor Concepts did a great job on my landscaping. I had them remove all the mulch and replace with rocks , remove a tree and then repair a fence. All was done in a day. Dave and team had done work for me at my last house and I saved their information and thought of them when I had more work to do on my current home. Work was done as promised!

Dave and his team were fantastic! Dave came out to give me a quote on a drainage solution for my backyard and came in at a very reasonable price for the amount of work that needed to be done. His team was also able to come out the next day to perform the work. Once they showed up, his crew was very knowledgeable, professional, and worked hard. They were pretty close to finishing the job on day one with just some cleanup left to do, so they came back the next day and carted away the extra dirt leftover from the drainage installation. Great experience, would use their services again in a heartbeat!

Dave was gracious to donate an outdoor lighting package to the MDA Auction that we purchased. Worked with him on design and placement of the lights. Installation went smooth, you couldn't even tell they were there! Pictures show during and after, very happy to recommend and glad to work with companies that support great causes.

Based on other reviews we felt safe using this company. Our contract was for leveling the yard in three areas with top soil then putting down seed with straw covering. Along with the yard we contracted for a stone ring around our tree to cover roots filled with soil, mulch and planting four hostas. He was paid $2300.00 for this job. I’m going to leave it up to you as to whether I received my money’s worth. He was contacted about my unhappiness and nothing was done. I personally cannot recommend this company for any landscaping job.

We had an unfortunate experience of someone driving through and destroying our retaining walls, which necessitated an emergency repair. Dave was responsive and timely in getting us a bid, and despite squeezing us in (it really was an emergency as we were in danger of massive erosion & flooding should it rain prior to repairs) our job was not only completed in a timely manner, the work was stellar! I highly recommend Platinum Outdoor Concepts for anyone looking for a reasonably priced, high quality landscaper. We look forward to working with Platinum on some non emergency work in the future.

Dave and his team came for a consult to discuss what we wanted for a new patio. The guys were on site a couple of days later, nice and early, formed it all up and poured concrete the same day. Really efficient and great finish work! They also took care to protect the grass where the machines would go back and forth. Looking forward to getting lots of use of the new patio!

I contracted with Platinum Outdoor Concepts to have all new front-of-house landscaping done, including a new block retaining wall hardscape, edging, plantings, mulch, and other visual aspects. Dave was very responsive in evaluating my project, providing a conceptual design, and beginning the work. His crew performed the work very professionally and they took care of finer details without cutting corners and completed the work in 6 working days (within plan). They were open to feedback and questions as the project progressed and I'd be happy to recommend them to others looking to do residential hardscaping and landscaping.

Dave and his crew were extremely professional and friendly. Had additional landscape lights and transformer added to our backyard area. Looks amazing. All of the wiring was hand dug. You can barely tell they trencehd at all!!! Price for labor and materials was very reasonable. Work was promised for 10 days out. Showed up in 7. Very pleased with the job from the original estimate to finish!!! Would highly recommend Platinum!!!

A bit overpriced, fairly sloppy work. Was told the lines for my exterior lighting would be buried 6” deep so they’d be protected. None of them were. Dave said he’d come out when the work was done to make sure everything looked “perfect”. He never did. He then spammed me with text messages for several days asking for a Google review until I had to ask him to stop. Won’t be hiring these guys again.

It’s in the name. Platinum! Dave and his crew not only exceeded expectations, but also significantly increased the value of our property with the installation of two burms and excellent outdoor lighting. Service was completed timely and continued follow up on maintaining our investment has continued after completion of the project. All for an extremely fair price.

Platinum Outdoor Concepts installed landscape lighting in the front of my house. Dave Woodring was a pleasure to work with. He contacted me within a few hours of when I submitted a request for a quote, scheduled time for an in person consultation the next day, and had the job completed the next business day following a holiday weekend. After having a 100+ yr old oak tree taken out of my backyard, I contacted Dave to help me get my yard back in shape after the tree folks did a number on it. His team installed a new french drain, a new fence and even mulched and cleaned my garden beds. And he was able to get it done on my limited budget.
