Driver of pickup #27 with a trailer cut off a pregnant woman on Ridge Rd and then hit brakes. Please make sure your employees drive safely and respectfully on the roads!

This company has some of the best techs in the state, the attention to detail is much higher then you would normally see anywhere else. Take my word for it, I am in the construction business and haven’t seen anyone do anything close to what I’ve seen them do! Highly recommend!!

Called to have a ceiling fan repaired. (Was initially told they could repair ceiling fans). Electrician was unwilling to repair the fan. Management actually contacted me to refund my service fee. Appreciated the prompt follow up and timely resolution.

M&J were subcontractors of a pool builder who we hired to install an inground pool. The M&J team was stellar in communication throughout the build! They explained each step of the process (we had never built a pool before) and set clear expectations as to when they would and would not be on the job site. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Called on Monday to arrange a day to give a bid. The manager was out and a gentleman said he would have him call me. Waited until Wednesday, 2 1/2 days later and no phone call. So, I called them. The lady who answered, I think her name was Amanda, when I informed her of the situation told me the manager was out and she could give me his cell phone number. I told her no and they missed out on a bid. She said ok, I’m sorry. She seemed very unconcerned.

What is worse, one of their technicians (Juan I believe) had been to out to our home about 3 weeks ago. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I called them for a bid only because I was impressed with their technician. To be honest I probably would have given them the job but apparently they are not that interested in any new business so I didn’t give them any.

This company has done great work for me so far. These guys work hard, the guys who were digging in cold and wet weather, didn’t complain one bit and always friendly. Juan is also very knowledgeable and efficient, has done a great job. Highly recommend this company for all electrical needs.

After dealing with several breakers being tripped, several lights flickering and burning out frequently in our home, we contacted our home warranty company to arrange to have a qualified electrician come out to our home to access the problem. At the time, I wasn’t given the choice to use a local company, which nonetheless is not this companies fault in any way, but had I known what I know now, I would of asked for another company. They were at our home for roughly 15-30 minutes and informed me that they didn’t “see” the same problems we were experiencing and simply told us that one of our circuit breakers was “overloaded”, even though we had only 3-4 items plugged into our power strip and even though we had experienced another breaker tripping in another area of our home in the same area that lights had been flickering. Apparently, since they didn’t “see” anything they didn’t feel the need to even check said problems with tools or even a volt meter to determine if there was actually an issue. Instead, they simply plugged one cord to an electric fireplace into a separate outlet and completed disregarded the rest. Naturally, the paperwork they provided to the warranty company only mentioned the issue being us overloading the circuit breaker and the warranty company refused to pay anything. This is all good and well I totally get it I really do, but all I initially received was only from the warranty company via email only and they only gave me 7 days to appeal it and at that point it had been months later and I only found out after said electric company called me to get me to pay the past due bill 4+ months later, which I thought was already taken care of and paid, because like many people I don’t check my email constantly and feel that important things such as this should be communicated through a telephone call. I was informed several months ago that I owed them $170 total to which I had already paid a $65 service fee. When I last spoke with said electric company I explained my frustrations with what had happened and had a number of questions: mainly what they charge for a service fee which I was told around $85-90 an hour, and I didn’t feel it was right to charge that much when they were at my house for 15-30 minutes and for the service that was given. After that conversation, I thought that they’d maybe look into it or maybe give me a call back sooner rather than later to let me know that in fact they weren’t going to do or change anything, but months passed before contacting me today letting me know it’s their last attempt to get me to pay the full amount before it goes to collections. They could careless about said issues and in their eyes I only brought them up after the fact to try to get out of paying them. I 100% understand that I do live a bit of a drive outside of Augusta and I do want them to be paid for their service that was provided to me despite my dissatisfaction, but the funny thing is and I didn’t mention this to said electric company because like if they could careless about the rest then why would they about this…but I remember service workers calling me prior to them coming to my house that day to let me know that they just left their last job and were on their way from another job site right down the road…I actually left work to get home to be there with my husband (it’s a 25 minute drive), and they beat me there by 5-10 minutes that day (so they were pretty close), BUT when the bill comes I’m charged for 2 hours of service like they had driven from their shop 45 minutes away and not from another job site right down the road. And personally as a business owner there’s a lot of people who would do the same regardless. As a homeowner you hope that when you contact a company to provide said services that they would have certain ethics/morals that go above money and so forth, but likewise, many businesses will certainly charge as much as possible even if it totes the line in some cases. Happy to have them now 100% paid with no more threats to go to collections. Lesson learned…

**Electrical work** My landlord left a message late Thursday evening, Evergy tagged my electric meter and turned off power to prevent fire. Chris and Austin were here at 8am. They got the job done and my power restored. They were courteous, explained everything in detail. Even changed the light bulb at the top of my garage. I appreciate them going above and beyond helping me! I highly recommend this company.

We have used M&J for many years. Juan arrived on time, was friendly and professional. Asked about the scope of work. He answered all my questions. Offered up suggestions and solutions. Juan cleaned up and left no mess. Cost less than I expected. Highly recommend and will use in the future. My go-to electrician.

Juan did an amazing job with my undercounter lighting and light fixtures. They were courteous, professional and clean. They had to get in and out of a small crawl space to do electric additions to my kitchen renovation and had no issues with it. Highly recommend!

M&J did all of the electrical work for our new pool install. There is quite a bit of involved electrical work from bonding the structure to heat pump and other accessory installations. You could tell Caleb, Phil and the entire M&J team had a wealth of experience with pool installs. Everything was neatly done and works as it should. I'll definitely call them again the next time I need an electrician.

We had a above ground pool put in and needed electrical work done. Phil and Caleb came out to install the electrical work out to the pool pump and shed. They were terrific!! Friendly, knowledgeable and very hard working. Great guys!! I would use them again the next time I need anything done. Thank you both for getting me up and going, I really appreciate your hard work.
