I really loved the quality of work provided by Alex and his team. They did a great job and were quick to fix any issues! They were also all so kind!!

I will say that when the project manager said that they can’t take total responsibility of their field team because they are contracted really gave me a weird vibe. I won’t go much more into it because we chatted about it but they were very receptive of my feedback on this so I really do appreciate that!

Overall would 100% recommend them to anyone who needs their house painted especially if you have led paint.

We live out of town and called River City Painting to paint a two-story shed on our property that was in great need of being painted. The River City crew, starting with the office intake representative, Leah, and estimator Brittan, were both very friendly, understood what we needed, and were very accommodating. We had a window busted out and they put a board up for us when they painted. The estimating and planning of the project were very quick and efficient with lots of time options given to complete the work. William and his painting crew did a fantastic job using quality paints and the completed job looks amazing! Everyone involved was professional and the project was completed within a week. They sent me pictures all along the process and the final completed project. I highly recommend this company, and when we need painting done in the future, I will for sure contact them again. I had my garage door custom painted. From the estimate to the project manager to the painting crew everything was flawless. Great price and great customer service. Highly recommended.

My ceilings are 100% on point. They completely blew my expectations out of the water. They scraped the popcorn and textured to knock down and it is BEAUTIFUL! As far as the painting goes - they did a good job- felt a little rushed towards the end which I felt led to several spots being missed or needing fixed- but I honestly don’t know how normal that is. I have always done my own painting job and they did better than I would have done. But they did fix it all and they were very nice and good to work with. Overall I’d say 4.5 stars but since that’s not an option to pick is why I went with 5 stars.

We asked River City Painting to paint our deck. After work began, it was discovered there were some rotted boards. The paint crew removed and replaced the rotted boards. My garage door was replaced ant the same time by another company. The River City crew agreed to paint it too. They even picked up the paint needed for the door. Of course our estimate had to be adjusted, but the price was related to me up front. Bottom line, River City did great work and were very flexible regarding my requests. Thanks River City!

I had my kitchen cabinets painted by River City. The entire process was smooth, starting with Erin on the Sales Team. She answered all of my questions quickly. David, the Project Manager was also amazing to work with. He checked on the progress often and his team did a great job.

Jose was our project manager and he kept everyone organized and had a great eye for detail. Additionally he was professional and checked in every day. The entire crew we had was the best! Carolina not only did a great job but she also came to work with a smile on her face and kindness in her heart. I’d hire River City Painting again without hesitation!

River City was great to work with! I chose them because out of each company I got a painting quote from, they seemed like they were the most detailed and organized with the notes of the project, and their estimate.

Both the owner and PM I met with are really friendly and communicated very clearly. Everything about the project I asked to be done and paid attention to, they made sure it all got done just the way I wanted it.

Their sub contractor with Sherwin Williams, Marcos, was the one who did the painting for us. He was super respectful, friendly and a hard worker. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the paint, took a spot-light through to do the walkthrough to reveal any imperfections, and was willing to redo anything that he didn’t think was up to par, (which wasn’t much at all).

At the end of the day they finished the job the day they said they were going to, they addressed everything I wanted them to, and the paint job looks perfect! Thank you Marcos & River City, I’d definitely hire them again.

We recently had a fence stained. It was a unique project as another contractor has started the job but didn't finish it. The Project Manager, Jose, was patient, courteous, and respectful while working through the challenges. Really, everyone we worked with there were great! I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Review for River City Painting
We picked River City Painting primarily based on the 5 STAR google rating. In hindsight, we should have made some phone calls.
Instead of the CREW, they promised we had one guy (the painter) and his girlfriend. Very nice, personable people. That being said:
There was not one day when I was sure when they were going to show up. They never arrived on time and didn’t communicate exactly when they were going to arrive the next day. If they gave me a time, it was never right.
My house was a total disaster, the entire time they were here. Cardboard and tape were left long past when the painting was done. After 4 days of tripping over cardboard, I pulled up the paper and cardboard just so I could walk across my living room without tripping.
No cleanup was done on their part until the last day and I think that was when the project manager was coming over for a walkthrough. Tape was left so long upstairs that parts of wall were coming up with the tape.
Constant trips were made to Sherwin Williams to get items they forgot. They brought no tools to clean up with – i.e. a broom for example. We have splattered paint on counter tops, baseboard, trim. I was told that it would come off real easy…so, that isn’t part of the job???
The most disappointing thing for me is our kitchen cabinets. We were told at the time we paid the deposit they could fix a portion of our island that our puppy had chewed on. Exact word were: “No problem”. Our cabinet drawers and faces were gone for about 12 days. One of them came back cracked. I was told that it was falling apart when they took it. Maybe crowding them into the back of a small pickup and bouncing around to take them to their shop caused some issues. As for making the repair to the bottom or our island, they could not get it done. Was told they were a painting company, not a carpenter. What happen to “No problem”. So disappointing.

My family is very glad we went with River City Painting for the exterior renovation of our cabin. The team did great work and went above and beyond what we asked for. Our project manager, David was very responsive and took our requests seriously. When I worked with Adam to negotiate the bid, he made it very clear how much River City wanted our business, and he was willing to compromise to meet our needs at a reasonable price point.

This is our 3rd project with River City Painting and once again they have done an excellent job! This time we had them paint our laundry room, there was quite a bit of damage to the walls from removing hanging hooks, security system and hanging pictures. The walls look amazing, so smooth and paint only where the paint is supposed to be! They always do such a nice job of clean up after and protect the surrounding areas from paint, dust and splatter. We will definitely use them again!

Although my experience with the painting process left much to be desired, I absolutely adored working with the people. The first painting crew I had did not do a thorough job. I had many areas I was not happy with. When I voiced concern, and explained I was not happy with the outcome, Jim came out immediately to take a look. Upon inspection, he agreed with my assessment and promptly had a different crew out to go over everything with a fine tooth comb. I completely understand things can be missed and accidents happen, but it's rare to find a company these days that works until their customer is completely satisfied. Definitely recommend!

I hired this company after reading the Google reviews. I have since learned that we as consumers should not rely only on published reviews. Communication from Leah in the office was A+! They started my project while I was out of town for work -which I okayed - and I left my gate unlocked for them. This allowed them to gain access to electricity + water. They completed the paint/stain after only two days! I was impressed when they sent me the photos - it looked so good! Later that afternoon when I made it back home, I saw there were areas missed, a door did not get painted and there was trash EVERYWHERE in my yard. They had kicked over my landscaping lights + my landscaping border. I spent an hour cleaning up their mess. I texted the PM and told him of my concerns. We scheduled some time for the following day at 16:00 to walk the house to discuss the issues I saw. The next morning, I receive a text while at work with questions about which door...etc. I asked how the painters got in. I had not left the gate unlocked. He informed me that they (the painting crew) had climbed my fence and let themselves in! UNBELIEVABLE. I immediately notified the office staff and was truly put off that someone (anyone) would think that was ok to commit a B & E. The PM texted me eventually and said they were leaving my home. He could tell I was not happy.

I eventually received an email from the boss who wanted to come rectify it, but to be honest, I'm still pissed. I will be making a complaint to the BBB. I'm always willing to give five stars when it's truly deserved, but in this instance, it is not.

We reached out to multiple companies about making our ceiling totally flat from popcorn. No one would really quote us a solid number and everyone had reservations about if they could do it. River city came out and got it done and went above and beyond. Thank you to the team. Excellent work.

The process started with Adam giving me a quote. He was very professional and got the quote to me in a timely manner. After paying the deposit the office contacted me to schedule a start date. We were waiting for my roofing company to get gutters removed but they were very understanding with scheduling. Jesus painted the exterior of my house. He had great communication with me on when he would be able to paint due to the weather. His work was very thorough and he took the time to make sure it was done with quality. I appreciated Brett giving me a call after to thank us for our business and patience with the weather. Every encounter I had with an employee at this company made me feel they all put in effort to do a great job. I would recommend this company.

The process was incredibly easy, the quality was fantastic, and they truly worked with us on timing and colors. There was a mistake on the trim color and the team was all over it, correcting it without any hesitation. I would definitely use River City again.

We were more than pleased with the work done in our garage makeover. The painters showed up bright and early everyday and put in long hours on 100° plus days. They went over and above helping us move large objects around in there. Communication with the job foreman throughout the project was superb! Thanks again for a job well done!

River City Painting did an excellent job of sealing my deck. River City showed up on time, finished on time, answered all of my questions, of what and why, they were taking specific actions, cleaned up meticulously after the job, and were very polite. I will certainly look to them, two years from now when my south facing deck needs to be resealed. I will also recommend River City to others. I had a 3 man team led by Eric who did a very professional job.
